It is an old hotel which run by a family. Swimming pool filled by sea water which creates a different taste. Also pool has 3,5 mt deep on the right side which serves good. Breakfast is adequate. The view from room balcony is beatiful. Thanks for Dimitri for his help at all the time.

A great hotel for family vacations! The owners went above and beyond to accommodate us as it was the first time on holidays with a toddler and we didn’t know what to expect. They even provided us with their vehicle to grab some essentials from the nearby city. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and all the rooms had balconies with sea view! Thank you dear Dimitris and Effie for everything!!!

We had the most pleasant stay at Clara resort! The owners went above and beyond to accommodate us and even offered us their vehicle to grab some food because we couldn’t make it on time for dinner with a baby. Delicious meals, very good prices and the friendliest staff working at the resort. We felt very welcomed and respected.

The hotel is in a perfect location with a wonderful view. Such a peaceful place. We were close to Petra and Molyvos centrum which we visited every evening. Hotel room was cleaned every day. You can enjoy the wonderful sea view from your big balcony or from the restaurant of the hotel. The breakfast was very tasteful. Also, the hotel is like a library, you can find books in every corner in every language so you shoudn’t even bring your own books. Thank you Dimitri, for this nice stay at your hotel. We sure will be coming back.

Beautiful place, wonderful people, the hotel is long past its prime but it has its own charm, the owner is present almost all the time, solves any problem on the fly. The hotel is present almost all the time, the owner solves every problem on an ongoing basis. The staff is very friendly, helpful.Rooms neat, standard equipment The view from the rooms is stunning.Pool clean and quite large, the problem may be the descent and exit from the pool to and from the hotel (there are a lot of stairs and quite steep).Meals are typically Greek, varied, nicely served and in my opinion delicious.The beach below the hotel does not encourage swimming, but a few meters to the left or right and there is a place to swim and snorkel (swimming shoes mandatory) near the hotel you can go to Anaxos and there is a beautiful beach. 10 min walk there is a charming town of Petra where you can find souvenir stores and restaurants on the seashore.To sum up, it may not be a luxury hotel, but it is a beautiful hotel with nice people

An excellent hotel with large and spotlessly clean rooms, excellent service. the swimming pool with sea water. all rooms have a sea view. Breakfast had everything, lunch had many options with meat, fish, vegetables, salads. We will be back again soon. THANK YOU FOR THE BEAUTIFUL STAY.

Wonderfully holidays, we have just spent in the hotel 1 week but we feel as rested as after a year. Clean and cozy rooms, delicious homemade food made of high quality local ingredients. Management and the employees are very nice and helpful, you feel that they really care for the comfort of the guests. Garden around the villas is green and full of flowers, pool nice and clean and the view from it and the restaurants terras just stunning. If you want to forget easily about your entire busy life go to Clara;)

Poor in many aspects, dated, dirty, below average breakfast. Great location and spacious rooms but ....
I've travelled to many places, stayed in many hotels all over the world. Never had to buy cleaning products and clean the room myself.
I have also never been electrocuted by uncovered active wires in the bathroom. They offered a verbal apology and a new room, which, of course I had to clean again. In my opinion, a verbal apology was out of proportion to the severity of the incident, which was gross negligence.
The room was booked by family for a family event, and we didn't escalate further in order to not ruin the event. We paid the bill in full, we didn't ask for a compensation and of course none was offered. The point is not money however, it's the indifference with which they dealt with the incident.
Extremely disappointing experience.

The room is a bit old but except for that this is a very peaceful and authentic place. Very hospitable and serviceminded hosts, beautiful location, and a nice swimming pool. The buffets are simple but healthy, tasty and made from scratch with local ingredients. Highly recommended!

Very simple, low key vacation. Disappointed from the difference in reality and pictures ( wrong expectations) Nothing organized as activity, only the poolside and without a car is difficult to go around. I had a car, drove miles , but not thing too exiting . The weather was perfect , 25-28c in early October, nearby villages to visit and explore.
