Liked this hotel. Attended for a wedding on site which was fantastic. Good location near Petra and Molyvos on the water. Nice pool, great sunsets.

Our summer vacation's hotel! Calming, nice pool, great breakfast, very comfortable and clean rooms and very helpful, polite stuff. Our kids love it!

Cute cats all around the hotel area, breakfast is nothing special but decent, hotel room is nice and the bed is good but the shower is cold especially in the mornings. Good pool area and the bar is moderately priced

Cats are all over the place, even in the restaurant area. The water at the bathrooms and the pool is salty making brushing your teeth and taking a bath unpleasant activities

Stuff are pleasant and helpful The rooms are spacious and relatively clean The hotel doesn't provide with entertainment in the facilities. Close to supermarkets cafes and restaurants

Pool is salty and so is the tap water. Shower is very slightly salty but it gets you clean enough after a hot day 3,5/5

Great location (100m from beach) Room was clean and tidy (gets cleaned 6 days a week) Air conditioning is Extra and costs €5 per Day. We we're in room 524 which is Very high up and not suitable for elderly people

Excellent, clean hotel with great views of Petra

Excellent hotel, clean with spacious rooms and amazing views (I recommend you book a sea view). Bar and pool area is very pleasant and relaxing. Owners and staff are very nice and helpful and make you feel very welcome

Nice hotel in Petra. Breakfast is O.K. Wi-fi is working awesome. Has a large pool. Indeed, there are two pools but the other one is not used.

The food that you can get at the hotel bar is very good and the lady that works there is really nice! She will also make cocktails based on personal preference! The only thing that was a bit of a shame was the fact that breakfast was only till 10, which is a bit early in my opinion when you came to Greece to have a very relaxed holiday with sleeping in for instance

It was very pretty, the rooms were decent. We heard that other people who weren't satisfied got a different room immediately

The pools were nice and clean, the rules about when you could go for a swim were not very strict

The market is 350-400 meters and the beach a bit further but the road is not easy to walk everyday so older people they may have problems with the distance

Big hotel , nice rooms good service. Not bad breakfast can be better. Two swimming pools but i found the level of chlorine was high

It is an old hotel which run by a family. Swimming pool filled by sea water which creates a different taste. Also pool has 3,5 mt deep on the right side which serves good. The view from room balcony is beatiful

The hotel is in a perfect location with a wonderful view. We were close to Petra and Molyvos centrum which we visited every evening. Hotel room was cleaned every day

10 min walk there is a charming town of Petra where you can find souvenir stores and restaurants on the seashore. To sum up, it may not be a luxury hotel, but it is a beautiful hotel with nice people

The beach below the hotel does not encourage swimming, but a few meters to the left or right and there is a place to swim and snorkel (swimming shoes mandatory) near the hotel you can go to Anaxos and there is a beautiful beach

The hotel is present almost all the time, the owner solves every problem on an ongoing basis. The staff is very friendly, helpful. Rooms neat, standard equipment The view from the rooms is stunning

Staff is quite friendly and helpful. Location is very good, close to the beach. Maria, the owner, is always on site to help and listen to you. There are nice restaurants at Petra beach, also close to the Hotel

Pool is small but we were never interested in swimming in the pool. Breakfast does not have much variety but delicious and enough, I was satisfied. We stayed with 2 kids, 1 yrs old and 6 yrs old

For a small amount you can rent scooters or a car to explore the rest of the Island but in Petra there are also nice shops and restaurants

Best hotel in petra- perfect location near the beach & restaurants. the rooms are large and very clean ! Most of the rooms has a pool side with nice balcony. Wonderful staff and family run business

The 'Bar' is the perfect place to meet up with people. Petra is an unspoilt Greek resort and well worth visiting

Manager Andonis really take care of his customers. Nice Hotel bar with music an fun ! most guests are English & Dutch. Hotel bar is also open for visitors, most Greek are coming to have a drink after work

I have stayed at Blue Sky at least 18 times. The family are so welcoming and excellent hosts. Its a stones throw from the heart of the village and beach, so well situated

Very close to Petra and beautiful town Molyvos. We especially liked the room size, new furnitures and calming decoration & vibe

The hotel is synonym for comfort and fresh aegean breeze! We had spent wonderful 5 nights at Defkalion. It is so well maintained, ocd-clean and nicely decorated that we did not want to leave

Location is quiet with views of mountains and sheep out of the balcony, but still walking distance to Petra restaurants and beach. Generally everything was perfect, highly recommended

The staffs could not have been nicer. Very clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, gym included! It was a great experience staying at Defkalion. They even gave us towels as gift

I think we may have accidentally found the best hotel in Lesvos. The location of the hotel is very good. It is both quiet at night and a 10-minute walk from the center of Petra

This place is a little slice of heaven, Epic views, very clean and super comfy bed at the villa. Free fast WiFi not just at the villa but covers the whole complex

Haven't stayed at its rooms though they seem lovely. It is still not very famous, thus it is not very crowded yet. 00, but they always let us a bit more to enjoy the sunset

It’s on a steep hill so if you have accessibility needs or not that great with a standard car you may have a tough time. Affordable with large food portions

Such a wonderful place. So clean. The apartments have filtered water, with all mod cons and really clean. Pool is amazing as is the food and lovely staff.

If you stay in Petra, stay here! You are 20 seconds from the beach, you have privacy without being far away from the fun, and you have Greek hosts who are truly generous and kind

The studios are spacious and clean and offers comfortable beds and cooking facilities. There are beaches, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. The family ( Nickos & Sofia) that owns it was warm and welcoming

He helped me find the grocery store, ATM, and taught me just enough Greek to get me started. Not only did Nickos welcome me, but throughout the two weeks he did everything to make sure I was comfortable

Eating, drinking and having fun on the island is much more convenient and cheaper than in Turkey, despite the increase in the euro. They do not have the customs and traditions of ripping people off like our Turks

It is literally a magnificent hotel, and we went when the euro was 2. 50, it was 30 euro for two doubles per night. Even now, it is both more beautiful and much cheaper than the most ridiculous hotels in turkey

The owners of the hotel and the other people on the island are also very friendly I felt at home. My grandfather also came to Ayvalık from the village of Iskamya during the 1923 Lausanne Exchange
