Where to stay with pets in Petra

Liked this hotel. Attended for a wedding on site which was fantastic. Good location near Petra and Molyvos on the water. Nice pool, great sunsets.

Our summer vacation's hotel! Calming, nice pool, great breakfast, very comfortable and clean rooms and very helpful, polite stuff. Our kids love it!

It is oh so quiet .. walking distance of Petra. 3 restaurants nearby. Nice and large rooms.

Cute cats all around the hotel area, breakfast is nothing special but decent, hotel room is nice and the bed is good but the shower is cold especially in the mornings. Good pool area and the bar is moderately priced

Cats are all over the place, even in the restaurant area. The water at the bathrooms and the pool is salty making brushing your teeth and taking a bath unpleasant activities

Stuff are pleasant and helpful The rooms are spacious and relatively clean The hotel doesn't provide with entertainment in the facilities. Close to supermarkets cafes and restaurants

Nice hotel in Petra. Breakfast is O.K. Wi-fi is working awesome. Has a large pool. Indeed, there are two pools but the other one is not used.

The food that you can get at the hotel bar is very good and the lady that works there is really nice! She will also make cocktails based on personal preference! The only thing that was a bit of a shame was the fact that breakfast was only till 10, which is a bit early in my opinion when you came to Greece to have a very relaxed holiday with sleeping in for instance

However, the food and drinks in the restaurant was far below expected standard. Inexperienced summer interns running the pizza restaurant and bar is probably not a wise management decision

My only comment would be that maybe during the week days the breakfast could be prolonged till 9:30am or 10:00am, as not everyone that comes to staying over have to wake up early

The pool area is great, and loads of sunbeds are free all day. This hotel could be great, it's a 15-minute walk into the town of Petra, just little things have let it down

Vasilis and his family and other employees are all smiles. Only hard beds, and a lot of wasps deduct a little. Its also not friendly to people with Mobility issues. Ask for a room up high for awesome views

First time staying in Petra, and we had a wonderful time at the Panorama Hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the gardens and location are lovely, with beautiful views. A short walk to the beach, and Petra village

This was very difficult for me with my disability and unfortunately Jet2 didn’t fully describe this. The pool was lovely and big, plenty of sun beds no matter what time you get there

After eating a really cheap awful tasting burger and some fatty under cooked chicken Gyro we didn’t bother eating anything from the snack bar again as it wasn’t worth the price

The pool area could do with a bit of music to liven the day up, as there is no entertainment at all. The breakfast was basic (Greek style) but I enjoyed it

Staff is quite friendly and helpful. Location is very good, close to the beach. Maria, the owner, is always on site to help and listen to you. There are nice restaurants at Petra beach, also close to the Hotel

Very nice hotel with very comfortable rooms. It was very clean, brand new and the owners were very kind and helpful. It is located close to the beach and very near to village center

It was a nice stay with no problem. I will definitely stay again on my next visit to Petra

Pool is small but we were never interested in swimming in the pool. Breakfast does not have much variety but delicious and enough, I was satisfied. We stayed with 2 kids, 1 yrs old and 6 yrs old

Very close to Petra and beautiful town Molyvos. We especially liked the room size, new furnitures and calming decoration & vibe

The hotel is synonym for comfort and fresh aegean breeze! We had spent wonderful 5 nights at Defkalion. It is so well maintained, ocd-clean and nicely decorated that we did not want to leave

Location is quiet with views of mountains and sheep out of the balcony, but still walking distance to Petra restaurants and beach. Generally everything was perfect, highly recommended

The staffs could not have been nicer. Very clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, gym included! It was a great experience staying at Defkalion. They even gave us towels as gift

Defkalion will be our only adress in Lesvos

I think we may have accidentally found the best hotel in Lesvos. The location of the hotel is very good. It is both quiet at night and a 10-minute walk from the center of Petra

the only thing I would recommend is if you’re using it to self cater then you would need to hire a car as the nearest supermarket is in Petra , which is a half hour walk along the beach

Fabulous bars and restaurants in Petra and Molivos is definitely worth a visit ! So authentic with a beautiful harbour and cobbled streets leading from the castle. We will definitely return to this beautiful island

It’s a 25min walk along a narrow, seaweed covered beach to get to Petra or 20 mins scrabbling across rocks to get to Anaxos so if you want all the resort amenities on your doorstep then it’s probably not for you

Just returned from a 10 day trip to Little bird lesvos. What beautiful views and tranquility to be had at this amazing self catering hotel

But taxis are readily available in Petra square , we had no problems finding taxi’s and Lisa will order you one from the reception area

I would recommend good foot wear if you plan on walking to Petra, and you will need a torch to return in the dark

I always wanted to visit this place. I finally managed to do it and i am very satisfied. Really nice apartments with air condition and huge balconies to enjoy your drink/coffee or the view

The pool was really good and it is the great spot to watch the beautiful Molivos' sunset. The price of the room and the drinks were really low

We had a pretty nice time there. Clean, spacious, with air-conditioning and with an impressive pool. The room for 4 people had kitchen, fridge and too big tables inside and outside so you could cook and eat there easily

The cons are no internet in the rooms and if you accidentally open your eyes in their pool hurts like hell for a long time

This place is absolutely stunning, the views are amazing and the accommodation is fantastic

The hotel is nearby to the Molyvos village which is a big advantage. The beach near to the swimming pool Is also great and not to busy I’ll there again for sure!

The hotel has a wonderfull sea view. The rooms are clean but need immediate renovation. The breakfast was great with various selections. The garden has a lot of daphnea trees and beautifull flowers

The hotel is near the sea but if you want to swim you must wear sea shoes because of the stones in it

The food was excellent, with creative dishes that go beyond the usual restaurant offerings. Everything was full of flavor, beautifully presented, colorful, and very appetizing — all at very fair prices

It is exactly in the middle of Molyvos, very near to seaside, to traditional market and port. I love its garden, traditional stone building, friendly owner and staff. The price is really good for the service.

Fast Wifi, Pleasant and helpful people running the site. Our studio / room was cleaned regularly (3 times). The swimming pool was nice and clean too. You can rent the air-con for €5 a day (value for money imo )

Very pleasant, very quiet and peaceful. The manager was very nice and pleasant at all times. We had a front facing room with an ocean view over the tops of other beautiful stone buildings

The room was clean & the bed was very comfortable. Everything I needed was available. The house is traditional and has a lovely terrace. The view from my balcony was stunning

The owner was friendly, helpful and always available. Molyvos itself is absolutely gorgeous. Eating at the harbour was a delight

The venue is located high in the village, that's why the sea view is amazing. Molyvos has soft tourism and is an awsome village with an interesting architecture

A very special place with a stunning seaview from the balconies. In the peaceful garden there are palmtrees, bougonvillas and olivetrees. The rooms are very clean, and the internet works perfectly

I liked everything: the location, the surroundings, the view, the garden. It is located on the main and most beautiful street in MOlyvos. Near the port, near the taxis and buses. George is very kind and helpful

The food, hospitality, and servant’s heart of the Orfeas staff make it a place I recommend to everyone who wants to support a local Greek business that is doing so much to help their own community and the thousands of people who have found themselves on Lesvos in the last few years

Fantastic apartments with extraordinary views. The apartments are set into a hillside the higher the apartment the better the sea view. It’s very steep so if you have mobility issues ask for a low level

The hotel is spotless and the breakfasts very good. The staff are very friendly, there are 2 pools one of which is for families and kids and one is adults only. Both have great views and are very nice

The grounds are full of trees and flowering shrubs with gardeners at work daily. Pools are nice - sparkling clean and well maintained, though the pool bar is a little overpriced for the food quality

There is a sauna, jacuzzi and gym next to the pool area though I didn’t investigate. When we went in September there were few Brits and less children, which were pluses in our book

The Sunrise is a well-run complex of small blocks with a central reception/restaurant/bar, all set on a hillside with gorgeous views across the sea to the Turkish coast opposite

We have visited this wonderful hotel with my parents to celebrate my birthday. The emphatic and professional working staff makes this place an oasis of calm and peace. Accommodation, service and food was very good

The most gracious Maria at reception. Even though our reservation wasn't cancelled due to an error and we booked their room, they didn't even charge us a credit while they were eligible

We had a fantastic time staying at Viva Mare Hotel. The room was spacious with a fantastic sea view from the balcony

Spoilt for choice there with seafront, harbourside and rooftop tavernas to eat in. Plenty of bars dotted in there too not to mention shops. Another place to visit nearby is petra with its church perched on a rock

Great taverna by the sea serving delicious food and cocktails! Location is in a quiet rural area on the outskirts of Molyvos, which is recommended for great nights out with beautiful sunsets

What a gem this hotel is, perfect location, wonderful staff and amazing facilities. There are so many fabulous areas to sit according to your needs, full sun, shade, cool spots etc

The Sea Horse, Tropicana, Gatos , and Misirlou the burger place just before the harbour. Try Friends for lunch, all the locals go here for gyros etc. Also the womens co operative in Petra was fabulous

I loved going on the pebble beach to cool off in the breeze, perfect! The food in the taverna down by the sea has a great menu and the food was good. Lovely fresh salads and tzatziki in abundance, delicious

As soon as you enter the reception area you are made welcome. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Lovely clean, well appointed room with fridge and television. WiFi is very good, inside or out

I would like to note the helpfulness and diligence of the chauffeur (he is also the gardener) - a working man, in such a heat! Thank you for your service. Very nice greeting on arrival at the hotel

The food they serve at the hotel restaurant is very good and a fair price. All in all and good little hotel that's very chilled has a nice pool good food and cold beer

The photos correspond to reality. Nice hotel away from the tourist trails right on the beach. Transfer to Molivos 4 times a day - 5 minutes to drive

Thank you very much, guys! Buy greens and vegetables from the greengrocer in a makeshift stall right behind the hotel on the road (to the right of the hotel) - everything grows here, behind the fence

I recommend to take bathing slippers - the pebbles are large. Molivos is beautiful and authentic. Immediately buy dry food for cats - there are a lot of them everywhere, they are part of the urban environment
