Michaelia Hotel

The stay at this hotel was magical. The proximity to the center of Petra, beautiful sunsets and a beautifully situated room were all we needed! The rooms could be renovated - especially the bathroom, but this is not something that affects my rating. Breakfast freshly prepared every day, with a choice of two types of bread, cheese, ham, jams/Nutella, fruit and vegetables, eggs and/or scrambled eggs, several teas and coffee to choose from, water and orange juice as well. I do not agree with the previous opinions - this is a hotel that fully meets my expectations in terms of this price range and my requirements. It was definitely a unique stay and I would love to go back there again! :) Greetings to the owner and her Son and thank you for our stay once again!

I just returned with my partner from Petra. We stayed 7 days in this hotel. We managed to get room&breakfast as last minute offer from TUI. It was exactly what we were looking for, nice and small hotel which would serve as a base for intense touring around the island. The room was small, but with lovely side view for the sea and huge comfy bed. If there were any problems (leaking tap) they were resolved fast so I cannot complain about anything. Location is excellent, near the little center of Petra and beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. There is also a small shop with fruits 1 min from the hotel. The owner is extremely helpful and friendly. We had room at the ground floor. Initially I was stressed that it is too close to the sidewalk but actually it was very silent and nice. Every evening we were enjoying visits of friendly cats on our balcony. One of them, little female I would take home with me if it was possible.
Breakfast were very good including everyday fresh tasty bread. It was a very pleasant stay, we really rested there.

It was a very warm welcome we had, and the receptionist Ethina was the most amazing receptionist we’ve ever met. She was at service at any time, and gave some very good suggestions for were to go, witch made our vacation so much better.
We had a fantastic room with a sea view.

Simple hotel, but well worth the price. Clean and tidy. Friendly and efficiant staff.
