Horrible stay, staff and conditions.

We had booked 3 rooms, from 20th to 26th of August 2022. We arrived at the location to find a deserted hotel with no one present. A note stuck on the door told us to go and check in at the nearest hotel about 250m away.

We went there to take the keys and went back to our hotel and when we checked the rooms we found the following:
- broken toilet seat
- broken/disassembled heater
- paper stuffed in the ac
- empty shower bottles(USED) in the shower cabin
- dust and hair everywhere
- ripped and dirty towels
- dirty table on the balcony
- ripped insect mesh
- we asked for double beds and one room had twin beds put together

I went in search of the manager to show him the photos of our findings and request a refund in order to go somewhere else. Of course the staff said he is not in the region and cannot be contacted by phone but that he will arrive in an hour. During this hour whilst we were waiting they sent a lady with ‘clean’ towels to hour hotel, which she carried at her underarm, on the street, very hygienic, NOT. I stopped her and told her that we didn’t want a fix, we want a refund.

The promised time arrived and the manager was still out of reach, and in that moment I tried to reach booking.com. They said the only solution was for the host to waive all the cancellation fees, but this could not be done without the managers consent, but in the end the employees told me that the unreachable manager declined, on the phone, and only agreed to give us a daily free meal at the dirty and also disgusting cafeteria.

We had nothing left to do, we cancelled, lost 50% of the momey that we paid and found somewhere else to stay.

Location is not ideal and requires a car to get around.
Room was very clean but smelled from cigarettes (although it's a non smoking hotel). Bathroom had no way of closing the shower so the entire shower got flooded.
The room was ok for a couple but as it was marketed as a 4 person suite, I felt ripped off as this is not a suite and certainly not for 4 person (not even a drape for privacy).
