Missing two stars because their premises need renovating. It’s a relatively old building and you can hear people talk from the other rooms close to yours. Would be nice if they had a better restaurant/bar, since you might want to stay in and enjoy their pool and private beach — they only serve a few basics such as ready sandwiches, fruit salads etc. One thing that really made want to go back and ignore...

Great position. Spacious rooms, swimming pool good breakfast. Beach ⛱️ is average. There is a good beach 100m from the hotel. A/C TV Greek channels, good 24 hour service. Price depends on the period 150-200 euro range for 2 person's.

Be aware that this is an animal friendly hotel which means you may have a dog in the room next door barking all night long which is inconvenient if you are travelling with a baby. We stayed at this hotel for 7 days and absolutely loved it. We ungraded to a seaview room and it was perfect. The location is so handy and we walked into the port most days. The staff were warm and friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I thought this was superb, the beach area, the rooms and views, the working people were very friendly, the seating accommodation is lovely all around the hotel. The only thing I can recommend is they have kettle and coffee and tea facilities in the rooms. Apart from that we had a wonderful time there.

As a 4-star hotel, it maybe doesn't make the grade. No tea/coffee making facilities and a bit shabby (maybe tired because end of season, so no big deal). Very nice hotel with comfortable and clean rooms. The staff is really kind and helpful and made us feel welcome. The food could be a little better but in general it's a really nice hotel.

Our very compact studio cottage was ingeniously and attractively designed. Really enjoyed my stay. Room was clean and well laid out with a kitchenette with range, sink, refrigerator, and plenty of dishes. Shower had a showerhead holder. The patio was pleasant—nice views. In case it hasn’t been updated on the map and you’re close but having trouble finding it, it’s just east of the public library on the south side of the street.

Cute and quirky quality. Recently renovated 4 apartments with quality fit out. Rooms are small though and bedroom loft has low ceiling. Communal terrace outside has plenty of room and great views. Recommended for your stay in Hydra.

I love your unique property when I visited Greece in fact I didn't even get a chance to stay there. But I did remember it and loved it so much that I sent all my clients they are now. Since I own a travel agency I'm always looking for Unique experiences and your property is definitely one. Maybe one day I'll be able to come back soon and really enjoy it.

I concur, Bratsera is one of the best, cosiest, and most tasteful hotels in Hydra. It's not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for

Our receptionist Daphni was an amazing hostess and she's a very good professional. Very nice view from some rooms although one of them had a not-working air conditioning and the shower hot water only lasts for about ten minutes. For the upmarket price paid in low season, the breakfast REALLY needs to improve A LOT in all aspects.

Our favourite hotel on Hydra. Staff are always very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in a great location just a short walk from the main port area. The breakfast on the hotel’s terrace was a highlight!

We stayed at the Hydra Hotel on our first night in Hydra. It was a great experience. The hotel is beautiful. The room was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful

A very nice place in the perfect location with the amazing view of the harbor of the brilliant Hydra island. Very reasonable prices and nice service apart from a lunchtime. Anyway, there are many convenient facilities available for the guests. All in all, I do recommend this place for the short and long term staying. I liked it much.

This hotel is one of the most BEAUTIFUL hotels that I have stayed in. I have visited Hydra many times which is included in the 3 island tour from Piraeus, but, I always wanted to stay longer and staying here makes it so very lovely. I am booking for the second year in a row!! --Lisa, United States

Not too far from the port of Hydra, it's a quiet location near the pharmacy. Yannis was very helpful in providing a thorough overview of the island, and giving recommendations of where to eat. Room was a good loft size, very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.

Amazing hotel with unique rooms. Breakfast excellent. Views excellent. Rooms spacious, comfortable, unique, and impeccably clean. There was an issue with the private hot tub in the room but the staff went all out to fix it. Lots of neat places to sit and relax arpund the hotel. Visited Vlychos Plakas beach in September 2021 - lovely scenic beach off the beaten path (50 mins walk from the main port). Warm, clean blue water however full of pebbles rather than sand (a little difficult to get in and out of the water). Great facilities - a sunbed is available for a few euros and there is a bar service and changing rooms. Would recommend!

This is the best spot in all of Hydra. It will cost €8 per person (4 Euros each way) to ride the water taxi from the main port of Hydra. There is a beautiful restaurant with delicious food and if you are lucky, you will find lounge chairs and an umbrella, those are extra but well worth it. This place is super busy and is usually frequented by couples and families. This is definitely not for people...
