Sirene Blue Luxury Beach Resort

A 3 star making out to be a 5 star. Great views and beach. 45 min walk to Poros. No restaurant open in the hotel during week in mid sept. The housekeeping needs to be improved. Dirty skirting and dusty. They didn’t change dirty glasses or clean the balcony area. They don’t know how to make a bed. No tea coffee making facilities in room. You have to pay for your water. Bedrooms are tight meaning small. Breakfast is very minimal, the breakfast room is inside and not comfortable and very hot too, you have to pay extra for your Greek coffee etc. And the hotel is general looking very tired in need of a lot renovation to bring it up to standard. Can be noisy in morning housekeeping starts early. 8.00. Sorry Sirene Blu. Positives beach and the beautiful view and service in beach bar the boys were great.

I visit the hotel last week Thursday 4/7.
The location is fantastic, the beach is beautiful.
Me my wife and my brother we decided to have lunch at the restaurant and to be honest was the worst service I ever experienced until now in the island.
The waitress was very rude a woman blonde around 40-45 years old came to take the order and I ask her very politely and nicely about the ingredients for the turkey burger and she replies me why you ask? And I told her because I’m allergic to mustard seeds and gluten.(I’m a head chef in Michelin restaurants and I had experience some restaurants use a recipe to mix the grained meat with other ingredients)
She said that she doesn’t know about it and she didn’t even try to ask the kitchen or manager so then i decided to order a chicken breast instead.
We order drinks and we ask for ice cubes but they never serve us, then the water send someone else to serve the food( young guy named Manolis very friendly)the woman was sitting and eating olives in the bar and staring at us like we had something. My wife is not Greek, but iam and i left from the country 10 years ago but I speak perfectly Greek but we decided to give the order in English. It was so funny to hear the comment she was doing in Greek about the guests.
At the end nobody ask how the food was or if we like a dessert or coffee after food.
The service for the experience I have is not 5 star at all. Was clearly the stuff are not making any briefings to inform about menu, allergies and etc. the waitress unprofessional and rude and the food was served looked like a late 80’s 90’s without any decorations or taste to make me go back there.
I’m sorry but to pay a pricey food and I really don’t mine to pay a high price but must be a high standard service to make it worth it! 1 star is too much for the service!

We tried to go to the beach with the dog. Although the manager of the beach bar informed us that dogs are allowed to the beach bar, the lady in the reception didn’t let us go through because she said we would pass from the common hotel areas. This is completely unacceptable and illegal. The stuff obviously don’t know the rules! I would never choose a pet unfriendly hotel!!! Shame on you

It is really outrageous not to allow a friendly small dog to go to the beach ….
We got the permission from the beach bar manager but the reception staff was extremely rude not allowing us to go through!
We think is about time that the hotels will be
pet friendlier . Shame on you !!!
