Best hotel we stayed in Samos so far. Family rooms are very nice, clean and spacey.
Also has great of view. Very close to best destinations and beaches in Samos.
Breakfast is good enough, but not so great because of the old coffee machine:)

Fine holiday hotel located on a beautiful bay with sandy beach nearby! Good service. Highly recommended! 10/10

The hotel is big and has a nice sea view but the rooms need improvement. The lighting was not well, the air conditioners were placed wrong and the room was full of ants. Our safe and room cards did not work well. Staff were friendly but will not visit again because the rooms were not comfortable.

It is a very nice place, clean with a very beautiful view. Some steps down and you can swim at the nice, clean and sandy beach where you can dine at its beach restaurant. Make sure to get a spacious room. If you wish you can use its beautiful swimming pool.

I asked ChatGPT about the difference between a hotel and a resort: "In summary, a resort is usually more than just a place to stay. It focuses on providing a complete vacation experience with various activities, amenities, and services to satisfy guests' needs and desires."
Princessa Riviera is not a resort. It has the location to be one (it offers a breathtaking view over the ocean and the sunrise), but the hotel falls short on everything else one would expect for a "complete vacation experience."
1. The bed was RIDICULOUSLY hard. I weigh 100 kg, and when I stood on the bed, my feet sank only a few cm. We saw the cleaners removing mattress toppers when they cleaned another room, so there was hope that we could also get one, but such luxury was not available for our premium room (confirmed by both the reception and the cleaners).
2. Even though there was a menu, it was an illusion. The food was not prepared by someone who enjoys cooking.
3. There was nothing to attract the hotel's guests. No entertainment, no lunch or dinner service. Apart from those who chose to lie by the pool during the day, the hotel was lifeless.
4. Breakfast was OK, but just barely. An exact menu, without any changes or variations. Bread, cheese, ham, vegetables/fruit, yogurt, cereal, sausages, half-cooked ham resembling bacon, scrambled eggs, coffee/tea, juice. Cheap and completely lacking joy in the food.
5. The fridge in the room couldn't cool to fridge temperature.
6. The fast internet didn't work.
7. The TV was 17 inches. It was barely visible from the bed.
8. The wireless worked occasionally. (But this was probably due to the fact that the internet on the whole of Samos is unstable during the day.)
So, we had paid for a premium room. What was promised was a jacuzzi, either on the balcony or in the bathroom. In the pictures from the travel agency, you could see a corner bathtub with room for two. We got a room with a one-person whirlpool in the bathroom. Otherwise, there was nothing resembling a premium feature in the room. A slightly more spacious balcony facing the breathtaking view would have been appropriate, perhaps? No. A slightly better seating option for the balcony at least? But no.
In summary, we probably would have given the hotel a different rating if it weren't for the bed and the whirlpool. The bed because it's surely the first thing one can expect: a bed you can sleep in. In two weeks, we never got used to it. Our bodies adjusted to the bed about as much as if we had slept directly on the floor. The whirlpool because it was so evident that we had been misled. For an extra 400€, we expected at least something, but we could have done without the single-person whirlpool entirely.

Great psition and view. Clean and big rooms. Breakfast should be better, every day the same menu.

Visited in September 2018: crazy view, friendly staff, clean and strategic location close to the airport, on the right and in the most beautiful part of the island. Minor drawbacks: breakfast: sorry for the croissants, no door shower, no satellite tv, you see RAI 1 and you hear sound from RAI 3, bcc world, but TV shows are not dubbed in Greece, so American and English TV shows you like are also to the Greek channels.

Super friendly hosts and out of town hotel. Nice swimming pool next to the beach. Too bad the wifi is not good. The gym is not up to the hotel (to be seen again). The rooms are always immaculate 👍

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Fantastic hotel with very friendly staff, can't thank the reception lady enough for her help, the pool was great with a great view, pool bar with a good selection of drinks/cocktails and good sandwiches, lovely breakfast selection, room was very nice and clean, beach was nearby, just a short walk down a picturesque hill, the hotel was a bit out of town but the taxi fare was very cheap so there was no problem getting around. Will definitely stay again when I visit Samos
