The hotel is architecturally very beautiful. Its facilities are generally very good. The beach and sea are very beautiful, very sufficient. I just think the room prices are a bit expensive. There is also a middle-aged staff member at breakfast. She chooses whether to greet people or not by looking at what they are wearing. It was disturbing to me. I did not find the hotel hospitable in general. But it is definitely visually very enjoyable. It can be preferred again by ignoring some things.

We have been staying at the Doryssa seaside resort for a week now and what a beautiful hotel.
The most relaxing week we have had.
The staff are amazing, so friendly and professional.
The hotel is so clean and a pleasure to stay in.
Even though the hotel is full you wouldn’t think so, plenty of beds at the pool and on the beach.
We stayed bed and breakfast as wanted to taste the local cuisine.
The breakfast is fabulous and caters for everyone and the selection of food is great.
The pool bar has a good selection of food and drinks and the staff there are brilliant, friendly and extremely hard working. Kiria Despina is the manager there and has it running perfectly.
Doryssa hotel is in walking distance to the local town approximately 10-15 mins walk.
A beautiful town it is too. Plenty of restaurants bars and shops to choose from.
We would definitely recommend Doryssa hotel and look forwards to returning.

This small resort is exceptional. The people that run it make you feel like family. The views are incredible. I have never been at another place where the services are better! The restaurant is great as well. Short cab ride to Skala with breathtaking views along the way. I’ll never forget our stay there! We plan on returning next year but stay longer! Great place for families. We went with my daughter’s family with three small children (

Hotel is in a great location on the beach. 15min walk to the main town.
It's classified as a 5 star. But the hotel really needs a good Reno.... 3 star accommodation right now... they have a few silly rules, like you can't change your beach towels for 2 days which isn't very nice to take back to your room wet towels and dry yourself to use the next day... You have both options sunbake by the pool or the beach.. overall great experience. If you don't like to walk at night. Stay in town. The Doryssa Theorem... Loved it there.

We stayed at the Village side of the hotel as a family with little kids, and had a great time. Everything was clean, very beautifully decorated, a true Mediterranean feeling throughout the hotel. Great quality food. Hotel employees were so friendly and caring. Especially Mrs. Benek at the reception was exceptional. Big thank you to all employees.

Nice pool area, nice restaurants. But then the good things stops. The room is located on top of a big washing and laundering room. The noise, moist and warm air from it goes direct up to our room and balcony. The system is turned on minimum 18 hours pr day and evening / night. On top of that we have freezing water in the shower. Only like 15 seconds of lubewarm water here and then. So 80 % of shower time is Cold. We complained about it on our second day but it is not fixed yet. This is not a 5 star Resort.

We were surprised how comfortable and tasteful the hotel was. We were there with friends and family and had a great time. I think it is one of the best hotels in Samos. Breakfast was generous with large variety, a large beach and clean sea, a pool, several restaurants, a playground for children and tennis court. The hotel employees were always helpful and friendly. Our special thanks are for Mrs. Benek who was always there when we had a wish or needed help. We definitely will come again.

Excellent!!! I cannot recommend this resort enough. They have a great beach with comfortable seabeds, delicious breakfast with great variety and the most important part; the service was beyond!!! The staff in every department are true professionals with positive attitude. Special thanks to Spyros and the team at front desk. We will be definitely back!

They should not let people leave towels on the beach chairs when they aren't using them. there's nobody sitting on half the chairs, and the towels have been used to reserve them for hours.
They should assign chair to people like in Santorini as they arrive, this way people that actually want to use the chairs get to enjoy them PLUS the restaurant makes more money because there are actually customers sitting in the chairs.

While I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the resort, there were certain things about my stay that simply didn’t justify a higher rating.
The rooms were very well kept, spacious, and turned over daily. We did not stay in the Villas but they looked beautiful. The little ‘town square’ was great for small gifts and simple shopping.
The proximity to the airport and surrounding beaches is great. Just be aware that this establishment is incredibly child friendly. If you prefer more peace and quiet around the pool (or even your room balcony), seek alternatives. That said, I’ll still consider returning if my entire family joins the next trip.
Service. It was hit or miss. It either felt like staff went above and beyond to help, or they were unhelpful, and in a few instances, borderline rude.
Breakfast. Complete chaos. It’s almost like staff couldn’t manage the waves of incoming people. I can’t imagine what it’s like is peak season.
Bottom line, this is a very solid option, and a resort I’d still likely return to, but just know, if you’re looking for the industry standard of a 5-star resort, your expectations may not be met.
