The staff are brilliant. The hotel and rooms is a little tired. Toilet/bathroom gad a funky smell. Breakfast was basic. Beware of the uneven surfaces around the rear pool. Plenty if trip hazards.

This hotel is basic but charming. It's situated in the perfect location, a minutes walk to the beach and close to all shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is very clean. Towels are changed daily. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the three English roses, Anna , Sandra and Tracey on reception. The rooms need a bit of TLC but are comfortable enough. Our only niggle is that the lighting is quite poor, especially in the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and felt it was genuinely good value for money.

We chose this Hotel and decided to go half board because all the reviews on the food were so good. I suppose it depends on what you are used to but we were very disappointed. The breakfast was buffet and there was a good choice and hot food was hot and plentiful. Not a single piece of fresh fruit to be had. The evening meal was served at the table, a really nice change from buffet. You were given a choice of meals from the daily menu or specials each day. Chicken fillet was a piece of processed something, not vaguely recognisable as chicken. The majority of the food was bland and tasteless, and virtually no fresh vegetables other than a couple of pieces of capsicum and a piece of cucumber! I wasn't surprised to see that only about 15% of guests actually had an evening meal, it was mainly bed and breakfast. The Hotel itself was very good, although tired and dated. Excellent location, very friendly staff and good facilities. The rooms were a good size, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space and a good supply of hangers which was a bonus. There were notices re leaving towels on sunbeds which were totally ignored, as with notices about not taking food from the dining area. I saw two women blatantly making sandwiches for their lunch in front of staff and boasting about it, but nothing was said. What is the point of making rules.

Stayed at this hotel this year for 2 weeks, as already stated, a nice place to stay. An exclusive-style accommodation with a welcoming, decorative and vibrant impression. Functioning mostly as a bed-and-breakfast establishment, the servings are second-to-none, using an honest working staff environment. And that includes the drinks!! Rooms are clean and spacious, 2 functioning swimming pools, a doorstep away from the beach, close to the main ***** of bars and restaurants, and children friendly. All-in-all, a nice piece of Sidari, you'll enjoy 2 weeks here!

Great hotel good food great staff lovely room. Very central location only thing lets this place down is the hobbit sized showers. Stayed in a few diffrent rooms im 5ft 1" and struggled to get in or turn around. Spotlessly clean and very comfy beds.

Just back from this hotel and I was very happy with it Rooms basic but clean and beds were decent Air con worked great and stayed on even when u left room as it’s not the key card in slot yo put power in Pool areas where clean and tidy with bar and sells snacks, sun loungers could be better tho Location is great just at end/start of ***** right across from beach and it’s a 10 min stroll to canal demur

The location of the Mimosa is brilliant, turn left and you end up in the Canal d’amour, turn right and you are in the heart of Sidari with all the night life you need, it was reassuring to see the security gate (key card access) to get in, obviously we didn’t have one so rang bell to say we were here and buzzed in. First impressions were great, looked like a nice pool area overlooked by the restaurant and pool bar, we asked for a quiet room with double bed as we had heard the Karaoke bar across the road can be quite loud, paid 20€ for a safe (including 5€ deposit), receptionist called Anne who was English but has lived in Corfu for a number of years was very pleasant and welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately impressions of the room did not live up to expectations, although we got a quiet room with a double bed that was its only redeeming factor, the room was small, the furniture was tired looking with signs of damage to the drawers on the dresser and the wardrobe, and the numerous evidence of mosquitoes splattered on the walls, the one positive was the free air conditioning which was very good, there was a small fridge but it stopped working a few times, evidence was the flashing light inside, had to unplug it for a couple of minutes to reset it. As others have said, take a couple of mugs as paper cups only available. The bathroom did not live up to expectations either, although it looked like it had been refreshed lately it was also small, the shower cubicle was tight and we are not big people, it also leaked because the drain could not cope with the flow of water, I dreaded going in as the week went on, however the shower was good with plentiful hot water, just a shame most of it ended up on the floor. We had breakfast a few days and there was no complaints, good English bacon was on offer, only white bread for the toaster though, brown bread available but had to cut it and wouldn’t go through, but the brown bread was really good. Didn’t use the restaurant for lunch or evening meals but it looked very reasonably priced and was busy. The pool area was clean and the pool was spotless, they even treated you like adults by serving you your drink in glasses round the pool area instead of that plastic crap. There was always plenty of beds available either at this pool or the other pool at the rear of the hotel, however we preferred the beach, it was 2 minutes from the front of the hotel, we went to the Greek Village restaurant which offer free sun beds with thick cushions if you purchase their food and drink, but I don’t think it’s policy is strict, there were people there who didn’t buy anything. Overall we had a fantastic time in Sidari, I probably will not go back to the Mimosa unless the rooms were better.

Ok, so to begin, I came here as part of a wider trip around Europe, to meet up with family to celebrate my 30th birthday. This hotel is wonderful, I think it's star rating is almost harsh, the hotel is spotless, the pools are lovely. One at the front of the property, and one at the back. The beach is literally over the road, and the canal d' amor is so close too... Couldn't fault anything here. My family did the full board here, and it's the only hotel I have stayed in where it's not buffet style, instead it's menu choice each night. Don't get me wrong the menu isn't huge, but this is way nicer in my opinion. Couldn't recommend enough. Staff were all lovely too.

One of the best places I have stayed. The staff were so friendly and the food was fantastic. We went Half Board and were given options to what to eat, then the waiters brought the food. Close to Sidari bars where there were tribute bands on every night and the beach and Canal Damour where we found a nice restaurant. I would definitely come back to this hotel because it was fairly quiet in May and offers value for money.

The first day of our holiday my sister left her phone on the transfer from the airport, the receptionist Anne was amazing and thankfully managed to get the phone back to us the next day. This just added to our experience at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to ensure you had the best stay at hotel mimosa. Although the rooms were basic and the shower was small this was no issue for us at all. The hotel and rooms were cleaned every day. The hotel itself was located perfectly 2 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, bars and shops. The nightlife were also very good plenty of tribute acts, quizzes, karaoke and even bingo nights so there were more than enough to do to keep entertained. The nightlife could not be heard from the hotel rooms either so all in all you couldn’t ask for more.
