Angela Suites Boutique Hotel

Stayed being July for 11 night on half board When we arrived, we were greeted by a lovely reception staff who showed us to our room checking, which took about 30 minutes, and you were given a cold, soft drink .. Rooms our room was quite big and very clean lots of Wardrobe space and they had shelfs in them the safe was free and you just add your own code the bathroom was nice with a bath and shower we had our bed changed every day and fresh towels which was lovely our housekeeper done an amazing job . Pool there are 2 pools one big and one to the side of the restaurant lot smaller which no one really used the main pool was lovely and plenty of sunbeds no need to rush down as still plenty at 10 o'clock and the pool area was kept very clean there is a bar which is by the pool and is open all day and night till 12 staff who work in the area work very hard and do a fantastic job and Nothing is too much trouble . Restaurant, we were half board, and tho the food was of good quality, only giving 3 choices in the evening to choices from was not great you could choices from one meat dish ,one fish dish or if you were vegetarian you only had one vegetarian choice I'm sorry to say not everyone like fish or pork and if that was the only option on that night's menu then you had to go without feel that having 2 different choices would be better we went out 5 nights out of our 11 night stay. Breakfast was great, and lots of choices and even the menu at lunchtime had a good selection to choose for you to buy and all tbe staff that work I the hotel do a fantastic job and make your stay . There is a tourist tax that you pay when leaving the hotel this is 15 euros a night per room if your staying in the self-catering appointment just across the road from the hotel which is part of the hotel it is only 2 euros a night I don't understand why as if your staying in the self-catering apartments you still use the same pool and the same restaurant for your breakfast as the people staying half board . If we come back to this hotel which I think we will I would book the self-catering accommodate as they look just as nice as the hotel . Once again we gad a fantastic time, just the food in the evening didn't suit us

We visited Angela's with our friends for the week. We stayed in the suites opposite. This was our second stay here and this time was just as wonderful The hotel is lovely. The staff are all so pleasant, smiling, and helpful. They all work so hard and do a great job. We booked bed and breakfast, and that certainly didn't disappoint. Great selection for breakfast, and I even tried the rice pudding one morning, which was delicious.We all had a fabulous holiday and looking forward to going back again.Keep being amazing Angela's!!!

Amazing hotel and place to stay. Returned Monday after 9 nights. Nothing at all to complain about and seriously I am the hardest person on earth to please. We were bed and breakfast and there was everything to choose from. Other couples who were having evening meal said the dinner was fabulous. We didn’t have the barbecue night and regret that as we saw what was on offer. Rooms cleaned daily and it is one of the best hotels we have ever been to in the Greek islands.

My husband and I stayed at this fabulous hotel from June 20th for 11 nights. We had one of our best holidays ever in Crete and we have been coming for many many years. Im not sure how to make this review different from many others already on here to be honest, the staff are friendly, the food is excellent, the hotel is spotless but its so much more than that. You genuinely feel like you have become part of a big family, the fabulous owner Costas , the very charming George often fiund at reception, the truly funny waiting on staff, Katerina and Artemis, the brilliant barman "Lefty" ( his actual name far too complicated after a few wines) all went above and beyond in service. All staff were friendly, courteous and quick with a smile so forgive me if I haven't mentioned everyone. Plenty of food choice at the buffet breakfast, yogurts, fruit, pastries, bread, continental meats and cheeses as well as eggs scrambled, poached, fried or boiled all available, to eat alongside the traditional English breakfast of course. Ideally situated for two " walkable beaches" those being " Boufos Beach and the Kalamera Kriti beach, others are a 15 -20mins ride away in a taxi, or on a scooter/ quad. Sandy beaches although €10 and €12 euros for 2 sunbeds and a parasol some might find a bit pricey. However, there are plenty of sunloungers at the poolside. My only minor criticism is that as a 5* hotel all sun loungers should have some sort of mat/ padding on them to increase comfort. This did not spoil my holiday in any way I hasten to add. The hotel also owns apartments and studios across the road and Costas took the time to show us sround these too ( at €2 per night tax vs €15 per night at the hotel) I would probably switch to these next time around. They were equally spotless and you have use of all the hotel facilities if you choose to stay here. All have air con and safe included in the price. Lovely restaurants within 10-15 mins walk and they cater for all. My personal favourite is Neromilos, the food and ambience is traditional Greek! I could wax lyrical for a little longer but fear I am nearing my word allowance. Bottom line, this is a top top hotel we WILL be back and we would heartily recommend you give it a try.

Hotel is lovely, small and friendly, the food can not be faulted, we went half board. The service was lovely, friendly and very professional. The Staff are this hotels greatest asset, attentive professional and friendly. Our suite room 304 was overlooking the pool and the mountains , only fault we found was that if the bar was busy the sound Caried up to our room. We had a lovely two weeks.

This hotel fully deserves all the amazing reviews it has. It's such a lovely small hotel, ideally located in Sissi and the personal service from all the staff is 5 star. We stayed in room 305 which was perfect. Breakfast was very relaxing with coffee or tea being served and a lovely choice of food every morning. We spent days around the pool which was gorgeous and ate lunch at the hotel most days. We especially enjoyed our 5 o'clock Mythos at the hotel bar! We walked to Milatos, went on the beach at Kalimera Kriti, ate out at some amazing restaurants and caught the Happy Train to Vrahasi in the mountains for lunch. The staff went over and above at the hotel. One day we had a problem with our safe and they lent us money so we could go out :-) Thank you for a perfect relaxing week. We hope to be back soon!

Lovely experience. If you are looking for a nice hotel in a nice spot where you can relax and be g’teed a clean room and polite service come here. Had a lovely few days away with my daughter. Friendly staff, clean facilities and a personal feeling hotel which was perfect for our mother & daughter get away. Walking distance to the village, lovely little stores and some super eateries in the village. We would go back for sure.

Just back from 9 nights stay at Angela Suites. This was our second time here as we loved it so much last year, as soon as we got there, the welcome was like meeting your family again. As we were returning customers, we were given a free upgrade to a room over looking the pool which was a really nice surprise. Once again, everything was perfect from the offerings at breakfast to lunch, as were were on B&B board we did not eat there in the evening but what we saw, the food looked good. All staff were really friendly and could not do enough to help and look after you. The hotel is in a nice area with about 5 to 10 mins walk to bars and resturants and the harbour. We will be booking here again for next year and can't wait.

First visit to Crete beautiful island! This hotel was perfect as it’s a boutique hotel it’s not too big, so feels comfortable and very friendly indeed. We felt welcome immediately a warm welcome even though it was midnight! The room was lovely spacious airy & immaculate. The bed was very comfortable so a good sleep was guaranteed! Very quiet also no noise at all late at night. Room has a kettle & small fridge ideal. The bathroom was clean and had a hairdryer & toiletries. The pool area was fab beautifully maintained as was the pool. The pool bar was handy & a great place to meet other guests & chat. Breakfast buffet was excellent plenty of choice hot & cold We only ate on evening in the hotel & we had a bbq which was excellent! Quality meat cooked to perfection. The staff every single one were so friendly helpful & couldn’t do enough for you! What wonderful people clearly live the work they do! Costa you have a great team looking after your guests! No negatives about this fab hotel I will be back for sure! Efharisto

We absolutely loved our visit to Angela Boutique Hotel. The pictures of the place on the Jet2 website don’t do it justice. We had a wonderful and restful week here, it felt like we’d been here for much longer. The thing that sets Angela Suites apart is that every single member of staff, without exception are warm, friendly and attentive. They made the holiday along with the many lovely people we met there. The atmosphere around the pool, bar and restaurant was so friendly and relaxing. This was my first visit to Crete and I’ll be back without doubt and when I do I’ll stay at the same place! Many of the people we met had returned multiple times and when you come, you can see why. Lefty, Konstantinos, Artemis, Katerina, Georges, apologies to those whose names I haven’t mentioned, but everyone was fantastic.
