Alkyon Mini-hotel

Our stay at Alkyon Hotel was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel so welcome. Our room was spotless and comfortable. Excellent service and a wonderful experience overall. Highly recommend!

Fantastic hotel. Rooms were clean with aircon and other facilities. Staff were kind and so friendly. They sorted out a boat trip for us and gave us lots of information about beaches and transport which helped make our holiday. The pool area was well looked after with plenty of sun beds. The bar was a lovely place to gather to have a drink before going out for dinner. Perfectly located for a wander into Skiathos town to eat, have a drink, browse the shops and nosey at the yachts on the front. This is one of the only places I have been that I would ever go back to. Skiathos is a beautiful island. Friendly, safe, all good was amazing and people were friendly and kind. Loved every minute!

We have just returned from 14 nights at the Alkyon, the hotel is situated looking at the old port beautiful views at breakfast and bus stop 1 minute around the corner and within 5/10 Mins into the town. The staff at the hotel are wonderful and very friendly and welcoming and the hotel is spotless nothing to fault there, we travelled as a family of three and the rooms consist of two single beds and a camp bed which is very hard ( apparently you can ask for a mattress topper ) there is a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee ?, breakfast had plenty of choice although could be cold sometimes, we was half board but only ate at the restaurant 3 times as you only have two choices and one evening I was served the same for starter and my main meal. The pool is small for the hotel 24 sunbeds for 90 plus rooms and when the hotel is at maximum capacity unless your down at crack of dawn to put a towel on your bed you have no chance of, pool does not open until 8am but I went down one morning at 7.55am and all sunbeds were taken , we spent a lot of our time at the beaches but still if you would like to use the pool you should be able to so overall I would not make this hotel 4 star as the little things are missing

Excellent location and view overlooking harbour. Within close vicinity to town centre, easily walkable. Hotel spotless and cannot fault service, friendly and helpful staff

This is a decent hotel, very well situated with good proximity to the town, bus stop, fish restaurants. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice and staff are very helpful. A shout out to Monica and her impish sidekick. It has a good pool area although a little small, which isn’t helped by those who like to leave towels out and disappear. This is not any fault of the hotel. Bar food is good and reasonably priced. I’d definitely stay there again.

The staff here were welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. From welcoming drinks upon arrival to helping with luggage ,booking taxis and restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble. I stayed at a basement room which had a patio door leading out to a table and chairs whwre you can relax. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety. The views from the breakfast balcony was outstanding over looking the harbour. The hotel was located close to both The New Port and Old Port. There are restaurants and local convenience stores very close by, you'll be spoilt for choice I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return again one day.

Once you stay at this hotel you can't forget it.
Clean , spotless and at the best location. Rooms were spatious and clean!
Staff was amazing, they were there anything we would ask. Lots of suggestions for boat trips. The view is amazing! Breakfast one of the best i ever had! Service fantastic! I will certainly be back! Can't forget the cocktails at the bar! Food at the restaurant "carnayo" was so tasteful! See you soon!

Fantastic hotel. It was a gem! Clean and spotless! Close to almost everything! Bars and restaurants within walking distance! Staff maybe was the best I have ever seen!
I would definitely come back!
