Where to stay in Skiathos Town

Stunning hotel on beautiful sandy beach. Varied areas including pool bar and beach bar. Breakfast is wonderful catering for all tastes. Everywhere is clean and comfortable. If desired, you could stay your whole holiday in this amazing place. Staff are courteous and extremely helpful. My first time in Greece was incredible.

I don’t feel this is a true 4 star resort for the following reasons: - no shade by the beach - cereal was stale at breakfast - no wine opener in the room you have to call the front desk and they send someone up with a bottle opener but it is the only one they have so you have to give it right back - front desk can’t make spa appointments you have to contact the spa directly but they don’t have a lot...

Me and my girlfriend spent a week in this lovely hotel in Skiathos. The hotel has very helpful and polite staff especially Maria who's working behind reception. Koukounaries beach is 10min by bus and the town centre 20min.The rooms are very clean with AC of course and the place is quiet night time. We'd happily stay at the hotel, again.

We had an amazing week at the hotel. The receptionists were very helpful with recommendations, we felt well looked after. The host, Stavros, was most helpful. He picked us up from the airport and took us back at the end of the holiday. There was a climb to the accommodation but the view made it all worthwhile. Fantastic family run hidden gem in the centre of Skiathos town. Beautifully decorated inside and out. Lovely staff, where nothing is too much trouble. Charming hotel right in the centre of things. Has absolutely everything you want and great character only. Mentioned a problem with the shower holder when we arrived and it was fixed by the time we came back from the beach! The sun terrace upstairs has to be seen to be believed - fabulous. This beautiful Greek Hotel very close to the Harbour is a credit to you. You made our stay an experience that will always stay with us. Really lovely traditional Greek hotel. We stay here often and it only gets better with each visit. Feels like home because the owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming. The family own the taverna next door and is one of the prettiest and most tasty places to eat and relax in town.

The perfect hotel for our girls trip. A warm and friendly family run hotel. Hotel Rene is well looked after and catered for all our needs. Beautiful setting with easy access to the beach, bus route and town. The hotel has a relaxed vibe making it somewhere you are happy to chill around the pool or sit and chat in the outdoor lounge area. The cocktails and lunches we had were delicious.

I do recommend it both for couples or families. The room is very tidy, clean with nice balconies and TV, there is always warm water for showers in the bathroom. You can have Breakfast in a very nice backyard.. it is quiet and full of flowers. It is only 5 min from the main centre. The staff is very polite and always happy to help.

A hidden gem. Cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Very welcoming staff who all work hard keeping the rooms pool and garden clean and tidy. Can understand why so many people return. We will too.

What a wonderful experience we had. The food is lovely and the pool area is spotless and fun to visit. Rooms are good, but it's always worth asking to be upgraded. The bar is nice, not sure why everybody raves about the Bartender though, he's quite grumpy to newcomers! Booked to go back next year, never done that before so it's a testament to how good this place is.

Our hosts Rania and Stelios were very kind, helpful and warm. Rania made a delicious breakfast (the homemade marmelade was a blast) and gave us many useful tips about what to visit on island. The view was wonderful and everything was very clean. Definitely hosts and a place to return to.
