Hotels in center in Skiathos Town

Towels left on sunbeds unattended for ages, there are signs stating towels would be removed after 30 minutes but this never happened. You can manage to get a rocking chair next to the pool later, this is what we did

Only person who didn’t smile was the restaurant manager. Rooms were super clean and beds comfy. The hotel is close to all the lovely back streets of Greece as well as the port. 20 minute walk to the nearest beach

Had a Fantastic week with friends and already booked for next year. Staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Big shout out to Elsa, Monica, Anna and all the reception team

THE ONE NEGATIVE!!! As mentioned by others the sun bed situation. You can only get one if you are an early riser or set your alarm

This was the holiday makers in fault as they were selfish. Rooms good facilities great air con and very clean rooms

This hotel was one of the best we've stayed in, very clean, well-presented and friendly staff always willing to help, the rooms were cleaned daily, and fresh towels every other day, great food, fairly good drink selection ( but could do with some flavoured gins) they have a large selection of wines and even have a glass-fronted wine cellar

The food was very good, plenty of choice at breakfast and the meals in the Crazy Cow were very tasty if a little nouvelle cuisine. ALL the hard working staff were very friendly and helpful - Thank You

The photos do not do justice to this hotel. Our room was large with a very comfortable bed. Toiletries were provided and towels and sheets changed everyday, although I feel this isn't necessary

This didn't present any problems for us with regards to traffic noise but if you are a Very light sleeper then maybe not for you. There is a very large pool with a pleasant seating area

We had a superior room with a view of the hills. There was also a view of the car park and nearby road

Special mention to Vaso not only did she keep our room immaculate but found time for the occasional chat and joke, no mean feat considering my limited Greek and her limited English. Would definitely return to this hotel

The manager and staff are deeply committed to making every guest's holiday the best it can be: from the excellence of the rooms, food and service to providing advice on beaches and outings (booking them for you if it helps)

We shall remember watching the evening parade of fashion as vividly as the first aid help given to my fallen husband but especially the warm pool environment shared with other friendly guests

Everything one needed was very close by yet the hotel still a felt tranquil place to relax and enjoy a great holiday and the Lobby Bar cocktails were amazing !!

Peter in the restaurant/bar and also Paraskevi (Vivi) at reception were always smiling and answered all our questions; they were very welcoming and helpful

Had a great 11 nights in this hotel. The service was great from everyone, really friendly people. The location is perfect! 5 mins walk from the town. Our rooms were cleaned everyday, the breakfast was beautiful

Thanks to all the staff at Somnia. Kostas, Kiki, George (great bar service, very friendly) and all the cleaners, who work very hard. We stayed for 2 weeks and loved every minute

Our room and the hotel is very clean and well equipped. Location is ideal, 5 min walk to town and 1 minute to the bus terminal. We can't wait to return next year

We stayed only to have breakfast, really nice restaurant in center position, really tasty breakfast food and also the juices. Overall really nice experience.

Good location central to all amenities, airport and taxis. Level access from street to reception and to the lift.

Friendly service. Very modern rooms with AC and lights control. Small TV, comfy bed. Nice bathroom. Had a balcony room with view to back alley. Front of hotel looks over the harbor. Has restaurant/bar out front.

Nice, clean, soundproof rooms with view of the harbor. Breakfast a la carte, tasty with local flavor. However, the greatest asset of the hotel, is the really helpful, polite and professional employees!

Lovely place up the hill, very characterful. Fofi the owner looked after us very well and sorted our taxi. Large breakfast, will stay there again. Ask her how many cats she has !

Very welcoming place to stay with so much character. Our room was clean and spacious. Our private balcony overlooked Skiathos and the bay. Froffee the owner made us feel at home and she was so helpful and friendly

Pros: Great location right in the centre of Skiathos, balcony with view of the port, pick up service from the airport. Contra: low pressure in the shower. Basic room.

Perfect place to be!!! Every year there, we love the hosts. excellent! Best place above the new port with an amazing view to the sea! Just feel like home with Yiota, Babis and the girls. They do all they can to feel well

Yiota collected us from the airport with a huge warm smile. Ok, so there were steps to climb, but the friendly people, right down to our "adopted" Greek granny outweighed it all. I would recommend this hotel to anyone

Complimentary airport pick-up which is always nice when going somewhere new. We were on the 1st floor and had an excellent view from our balcony. There is a rooftop which we didn't use (no need)

What great accommodation, we loved our stay here. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The location is excellent, a flight of stairs (not small though) from the new harbour and bus stop

We loved it, but the location on google is not accurate, hotel is in Megali Ammos, not near the Skiathos port. Ask for room not facing the main road it will be more quiet. Hotel is very clean and nice

Be sure to bring or buy mosquito repellent spray

She puts a free simple breakfast every morning which was a great surprise as it wasn't mentioned when booking. We are staying in the mezonette apartments and they are lovely and very central to all amenities

This hotel was perfect for my husband and I! It was cozy and clean and we stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms! It is located in the center of town, but quietly tucked away from the busy main street

A small, cosy hotel in the centre of Skiathos, in the heart of the movida, close to shops and restaurants and right in front of one of the best places in town to eat gyropita

Lia the hostess was amazing! Thanks to her, we were informed about events in the island, the most amazing beaches and recommendations for various activities. I would gladly return to Skiathos and to this lovely place

Perfect hospitality, comfortable and very clean rooms with every day cleaning and change of towels. In the center of Skiathos, 5 minutes from the port and next to all restaurants and bars

The rooms were cleaned to a very high standard every day with clean linen. Breakfast amazing and eating in the evening at the courtyard restaurant, the food was very traditional and tasted amazing

What a find this hotel was!! Staying here was fabulous. Our room was clean and fresh with air conditioning and hot water. Our balcony overlooked the courtyard where we ate a lovely dinner

The owner Thassos was able to solve our problem by hooking us up with a special taxi service which was very reliable but rather pricey. Other than that, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Hotel René

The only problem is if you are elderly and don’t have a car, like us, the climb up from the town or beach is very very difficult

I also welcomed the entrance to the room directly from the terrace, where there was a beautiful view of the sea. There was a bar, a clean pool and friendly service all day

One thing to note - the hotel is on a hill so expect a steep hill towards the end of the walk back from Skiathos town. Bus stop 4 nearby to take you to different beaches

Taxis are easy to get though! Breakfast lovely each morning, sometimes had to wait a little while for food to be replenished. Sunbeds always available and the views are incredible

Everything about this place is excellent: rooms, service, food, warm and welcoming attitude, lovely pool, delicious breakfast, breathtaking views of Megali Ammos

Bus stops right at the entry of the hotel to go to beaches further south or the city center however the city is just a short walk away by the beach which is nicely lit at night so you can walk back later in the evening

+ Perfect for families, calm area next to the beach. + The rooms are clean and the view from the balcony is great. The cleaning during the stay is superb. + Not to far away from the town, possible to walk

Overall do not hesitate to book this hotel, you will have an amazing stay at beautiful megali amos only being 10min away from the busy city center

Very friendly and helpful owners and staff, nice and clean rooms with good, comfortable beds and beautiful, peaceful garden next to the beach. We've been coming to Angeliki almost every year for the past 20 years.

Staff is so friendly and welcoming you will feel at home from the 1st minute you set foot in the hotel. There is a great bar for breakfast or lunch and a supermarket right at the bus stop

My husband and I stayed at Angeliki Beach Hotel for a week and we had an amazing time. The hotel has a beautiful garden with free lounge chairs, umbrellas and a hammock

it is quiet and full of flowers. It is only 5 min from the main centre. The staff is very polite and always happy to help

Really nice hotel! Highly recommended for couples and families!! Close to everything! Close to bus station and close to Megali ammos beach, just 5 min by feet. Tidy and clean rooms! Close to Sklavenitis super market

I do recommend it both for couples or families. The room is very tidy, clean with nice balconies and TV, there is always warm water for showers in the bathroom. You can have Breakfast in a very nice backyard

To be honest, it could be a little cleaner, baring in mind it was early in the season it was dusty under the bed and a bit of descaler wouldn't go amiss! But you get what you pay for an it's the perfect stay in skiathos town, I wouldn't stay out of town, you have everything at your fingertips, within 5 mins, and it's still quiet at night! The breakfast was limited and we went out everyday for a chocolate...

Amazing staff who goes above and beyond to create a great stay. The rooms were adequate for what we needed. Any issues and the staff was so quick to resolve. We had a great time at the Aria and in Skiathos

The Hotel is spotless with fantastic views and the benefit of a short walk into Skiathos Town. Very relaxing setting, Makis and staff can not do enough for you, simple breakfast and very enjoyable with beautiful view

Makis and Nicole really do know how to run the front of house and seem genuinely interested in making their guests feel at home whether you spend time around the pool during the day or venture out to the various beaches and return to the hotel later

It wasn’t until the last couple of days that I realised I could order a Greek Coffee to accompany breakfast and on our final day had the most amazing moussaka cooked by Makis who is a great chef! All in all, I would recommend this hotel as a great base with good facilities but would you need to book one of the rooms with a view to make the most of it

Great place and service. If you want to be neer to center but still out of noise this is the best place for you. Tavernas and beach are 2 min by footh.

Very nice! A lot of stairs and steep. So not for small children or disabled. Wifi in the reception only. Fan. You can pay for aircon if you need it. Nice rooms and surroundings.

Our hosts Rania and Stelios were very kind, helpful and warm. Rania made a delicious breakfast (the homemade marmelade was a blast) and gave us many useful tips about what to visit on island

Everything about Villa Nina was excellent. Stellios and Rania made us feel very welcome. The location was excellent and the rooms were the cleanest ever experienced on holiday.

The staff make this place amazing. Sammy the chef makes incredibly tasty food, Dimitri the bar manager goes above an beyond with service and is possibly the nicest guy you'll meet

Maria the receptionist is so lovely and likeable. It's a small, no frills hotel and with most greek things, very basic and old fashioned. We had a great room with 2 balconies and the views were spectacular
