Lovely hotel by lake Balaton It was wonderful, the hotel is located just minutes from the beach, breakfast was delicious with home backed goods. The hotel has a great wellness area with whirlpools, jacuzzi and saunas

Great hotel, good restaurant and a very relaxing pool (jacuzzi)

The waiter's go out of there way to make sure the service is special and you will not be disappointed in the food offered. On top of the Balaton, so great location for sight seeing and hitting the beach

We had a great time staff were proffered and friendly and the atmosphere was awesome definitely looking forward to spend some more quality time there.

We stayed and dined at this lovely establishment and where privileged to meet and share a drink with the owner

Everything was clean and very good. The staff was professional and friendly at the same time

Clean rooms and shower, nice receptionist. The cleaning ladys are helpfull and nice. Went with a 2 year old no problem. They have a bicycle storage, bit aquard to lift up your bikes if not lightwaight

A wonderful place to be. Very nice and friendly people, good breakfast and time to relax in Hungary. Lake "Balaton" is awesome! 😍

Nice place to stay comfortable big rooms good staff, no vegetarian meal in restaurant.

The pool is open all day and evening and serves lovely food as well as a selection of drinks. The rooms are very spacious and very clean. All the amenities one would expect. Little restaurants, shops and bars nearby

The spa area is clean and easy to use with a salt room, infra red, normal sauna and cold bucket. The pool has bubble jets for massage

The pool is small but perfect for cooling off and enjoying the swim up bar. We didn’t use the sauna but were impressed with its size

Great location just 1 mile from the marina, train/bus station and close to restaurants. The hotel property is stunning and maintained beautifully. Our room was good size, very clean with comfortable linens and pillows

The Furdo is a lovely little lakeside area with cafes, sunbeams and lake access and is also amazing for kids. I really can't recommend enough, we had an amazing time and would go back here in a second

Mobile house "premium", but there was nothing premium. You have to pay an extra charge for aircondition. Only two beach bars, one is closing at 19. Anyway, good place for family holiday

The beach is OK, but there are stones under the water which may cause harm. The animation programme for the kids is a plus. The food store in and nearby the site is very expensive

We had a good time. For the management: the place needs some attention. Reinforcing steel bars hanging out by the beach. Kids running around, not safe. Restrooms and showers needed a little more help.

In the water the stones, plants and shells are taken out so it is not not a pleasant experience to walk into the water. I have mixed feelings about the place but it is located in a really good area

We were at Pelso 2 days from 14th till 16th of June. Nice place, good accomondation, camper park in the shadows was exelent. But party/disco on Wednesday with very very loudly music till 1 a

It is a fine camping, if you just want to have a place quickly to stay. However I did not like that even though it is not a cheap place the toilets and the showers are not very good

Being here 2nd time. Nice personnel & rooms. Food is also good for this price. Swimming pool. Next to the beach (30m). Very quiet place :) I recommend for both couples & families

Very basic, but it's not for the hotel (a little bit of retro) experience it's for the location by the lake. Swimming pool, basic outdoor gym, tennis, table tennis, garden chess, pool table, bike rental all available

If you can, book the premium wing

Good breakfast and very good location - we were looking for a place not far from the Jazz Festival and near Lake Balaton - so this was a great choice! A very beautiful and well-maintained beach adjacent to the hotel

The best hotel In the world, Burj al alarb is rubbish compared to csopak csopak The gym facilities are exquisite, they have large amount of gym machines, all brand new, latest technology, gym floor is enormous

I also particularly liked the design of the hotel. I would say it is inspired by Swedish subtle architectural style with hints of eastern Europe influence from Stalin or Tito era

If you fancy some swimming they have a secluded private beach area where you can find your own peace and quite if you prefer privacy whilst sunbathing

Food and restaurant are amazing, the restaurant also has a upscale terrace area with amazing view and very luxurious seating arrangements

In this hotel we have just spent very enjoyable time , hotel is located in the great green place very close to the beautiful clean beach

Very nice place, equipped with everything for baking and cooking The room has a microwave, kettle and refrigerator, and there is also a shared oven :) The people who work there are very helpful

Nice clean hotel, comfortable bed, dear host, probably next time we come to Balaton, we will choose the Clariss hotel.

The hotel is very nice. The room was nice and spacious. Purity everywhere. Private car park, nice garden.

On the minus side: - food in buffet is varied and attention is given to restricted diets but whatever runs out isn't always refilled, so go early - elevators are sloooooow :D - skyrose bar has great view but slow service, so be prepared to wait On the plus side: - good sauna variety (but not always at the indicated temperature) - interior pools (nothing special but handy when the weather's bad) -...

The elevators are very slow especially during dinner and breakfast time. We got floor towels instead of normal big towels. the receptionist said they will send us towels but they didn't

Very good location (Balaton Lake is only 100 m; hotel has its own beach at the Lake); delicious food (every day different dishes!); rooms are big enough, new, comfortable, clean (good view to the Balaton); wellness is average (except saunas, which are varied, you can choose from 5 types); Air conditioning is not settable by yourself (sometimes it was too cold in the room)

They only cleaned my room twice, and on one of those occasions, they cleaned the room but not the bathroom! Unexplainable! I had to go out and get towels after a long day at work. Dinner was buffet-style, nothing special

We had a great experience staying here! The room and the view were beautiful and we loved the saunas and the pool! The location was amazing as it was very close to the lake and you even have access to a private area by the lake that’s part of the hotel

For families with children it is also a perfect choice, there is a swimming pool, small football field, sandpit, ping pong table and close to Lake Balaton

Very good and comfortable place. Kind and helpful staff. Excellent buffet breakfast. Both the pool and the environment perfectly met our expectations.

The train unfortunately goes close, but on the one hand it is natural in Balchin and on the other hand it was not overly disturbing. The guest is welcome to return here!

This Mediterranean hotel is a real gem among the accommodations on Lake Balaton. They are kind, friendly, attentive

Cosy place with nice land around.

A nice place to stay even for a couple days, has interior swimming pool, private parking and comfy rooms. Offers breakfast or lunch meals.

There were our course a few choices. The hotel has a little wellness spa: a small pool, jacuzzi, sauna and stream room, but the rooms don't come with bath robes or hair dryers

Rooms can be upgraded with newer TVs and beds , but service and food and location are great. Very very good food and not expensive.

It's a nice, quiet little place. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are not too large but OK. We had breakfast only and while it was delicious and filling, it was every day the same

Altogether it's better than you'd think for it's 3 stars

Bikes available to use, and in summer season you can rent SUP as well. They have a nice playground and a small outdoor kids pool

We are returnees to this hotel for various reasons. It is nice and quiet even in high season and has a private Balaton beach. The kitchen staff is very accommodating to requests, and other staff is also very helpful

Their private beach is nice as well, though open to the public, it is never crowded. Really great value for the money! My only complaint, is that the coffee at breakfast is really bad 😀

This hotel is a complete throw back, stay here and go back in time 30 years. The food is hearty, the staff friendly (I got to learn some Hungarian from one of the wait staff)

Everything was wonderful! The staff is great, always smiling. If you have any kind of problem or complaint, they strive to find a solution right away

You won’t get good internet service but you will get a chance to really relax and take some lovely swims and walks

Overall, the hotel made a good impression – it's well-maintained, with a very pleasant terrace and pool area

Breakfast and dinner were served partially as a buffet – in the morning there was bread, cheese, cold cuts, vegetables, and fruit, plus the option to order from a fixed menu (around 8–9 dishes)

We had a chill weekend here, relaxing in the pools and saunas, and eating way too much delicious food.

Excelente hotel. Very confortável rooms. The are heated swining pools inside and a big outdoor pool (this one is not heated) . The food at the restaurant is also good. Very good price/value

The wellness experience could be improved, the saunas were not operating properly, the pools were not warm enough for our taste. Otherwise our stay was pleasant, the food was excellent, the lake is very close

Very clean room, excellent facilities. Wellness-spa space is great. We had a fantastic time hear. The food, breakfast-dinner are five-star quality. Very delicious, great variety.

 The food was good and I was able to select a healthy variety at breakfast and dinner.  The desserts were excellent!  I had a great massage and used the swimming pool regularly

 In summary, I enjoyed a very pleasant break whilst my husband was working very hard in the heat!  We would definitely recommend in low season but in July and August may be more suitable if you have children!

The only thing I could point out was the weak sound insulation and such a detail as the TV - if there is already a TV in the room, it should take into account programs that are intelligible to clients from the surrounding countries

Overall this location is fantastic being on the Tihany shore with a private beach and a lovely pool

 The hotel was in an excellent location and I rented a bike on 2 occasions to see the sites:  Tihany Abbey and Church, pleasure boat trip on Lake Balaton and a tour of the city

Best place to stay! Great facilities: saunas, jakuzzi and a pool outside. Not that far from the beach

We had a good time here, the kids loved it. Friendly staff, rooms were very decent and the AC kept us cool. The pool outside, the sauna etc are all excellent and clean

Third floor apt 32 is for 4 clean 55 + square space with balcony view of a lake. 19) and Bernedette helped with advices what and where to see and eat. She is very knowledgeable and real asset person at this hotel

Perfect location, well furnished. From 3rd floor perfect view. Wellness is still ok. Kind personnel. Perfect place for hiding away in winter.

WiFi in apt is fast and can support streaming. ALDI supermarket is 200m walking and train station 250m behind good bakery

Balatonfured is the prettiest, full of photo ops with long park next to the lake real pleasure to visit and stroll

Room and place is ok, but breakfast is of pretty low quality.

The rooms are nice and the small pool is nice, but there is no kitchen or dining area. You can't even make a clinking coffee. The common dining room was closed due to covid

Family friendly place, beautiful and clean. A good choice if you want to spend a good time next to Lake Balaton. Before booking, we had some questions, the owner was very kind and helpful

Comparing to other places, cheap and comfortable

It's not comfortable if the apartments don't have at least a kitchenette. For those who do not need this, the place is 5 stars in terms of value for money

Service very nice, rooms clean and nice, good location - close to everything. Breakfast is fresh and tasty, but every day was the same.

Ansonsten ist es auch mit Kindern (5 und 8 Jahre) alles Fussläufig erreichbar. Wir sind jeden Abend an die Promenade gelaufen und morgens zum Bäcker und es war vollkommen problemfrei

The only problem was the owner accused my children first about a leak in the paddling pool instead of the young girls near by, when my boys were completely innocent

The hotel specifically is just breathtaking; from the details of the furniture to the crispy fresh croissant in breakfast, or Hugo the cute dog that is resting peacefully in the yard. The staff is very kind and welcoming
