Foreign travelers beware as this hotel does not do it's due diligence in verifying ID for additional charges and will attempt to scam you.
Someone charged drinks to my room during our stay which forced me to pay extra at checkout. The signature on the receipt didn't match my signature and they admitted to not checking the individual's hotel card or ID. I had to pay an extra 3000 ft at checkout because the hotel refused to cover their own error.
The walls are also rather thin and you can hear the activity around the hotel pretty easily late at night. The air conditioner is mediocre at best and took a day to actually cool down our room.
Do yourself a favour and find a better place.

Nice location around the forest, very peaceful where you can recharge your batteries.
The food is good but on the pricier side.
Facilities:
- great swimming pool and wellness (sauna, jacuzzi)
- you can rent bikes, scooters and have a massage at a reasonable price
- ping pong table and tennis court near the pool plus a playground; some may be not free
- at the sublevel there is a fun room with darts, air hockey, bowling, biliard that you really need especially in extra season; the room has an uncomfortable smell, needs to be better ventilated especially because it is near the spa, also un upgrade for the appliances wouldn't hurt (e.g. biliard didn't work); bowling is not for free
- you have a dedicated pontoon at the lake but also a free strand right next to; it is really close to the hotel, around max. 10 minutes by foot

Very nice place. The beach is circa 400 meters away which is further than what you would expect from the adverts but the hotel pool makes up for it. The food was OK. They have a bowling alley which is nice. But not so nice if your room is above it. And I mean 2 floors above it. So ask for a room as far as possible from it.

I expect more services from a 4 star hotel... Nothing in the room, no water, coffee machine, the fridge is empty... And quite old furniture

We had a small room, on the second floor, with yellow towels, no shower gel, no fridge in the room, dirty and old bathroom, dirty carpet, poor breakfast. And at 6 in the morning the room smelled like a kitchen, of fried bacon and coffee.

It is a great place to be acommodate 😉 very kind staff very good meal, very nice pleasant and silent environment .Well placed, very closed to Balaton lake. We would definetely recommend it 😉
