There is a perfect hotel, the sauna is good, there is a separate sauna seance, they cook gently and the surroundings are beautiful.

I came here with my son and wife to spend a weekend away from the city. I couldn't expect more from a 3 star hotel. (Summer price is a little bit higher than winter...expectable). Rooms are good. Service and cattering - lovely. Wellness is very nice!!! Kids playroom. Clean pools. And very nice food! Can only recommend it. Thank you Szindbad hotel, for such a lovely weekend.

It's a nice place, but nothing special. The prices are okay, it's cheap. So don't expect fancy things. The food relatively okay, the rooms are more or less clean. The shower, that's bad. The water smells for a minute, I don't know why. It has a Spa area, with sauna, aroma cabin, not tubs.

Due to the Michelin award we have tried this restaurant. I have to say that the experience was rather good. Our waiter seemed a bit of a rookie but apart from being a bit nervous, he was very polite and helpful. We were advised that the portions aren't the normal gourmet sizes, where you need a magnifying glass to find them on the plate. Instead full portions, where a soup or even a dessert might be...

One of my very favorite restaurants in Hungary. Everything is amazing. Chicken paprikash and cabbage salad are highly recommended. Great vegetarian and vegan options as well. Service is superb. Atmosphere is amazing. Table should be booked in advance.

Great place to enjoy food and accomodation and slow down for a couple of days. The room is nice and comfortable. The breakfast is wonderful with local products. I loved the beautiful desert at the end of our perfect dinner. 😊 Thank you for the experience!

We stayed at the hotel and made a reservation for the restaurant on our last night. It was amazing food and great service. Everything was excellent. Outdoor patio area but also indoor seating. I would recommend making a dinner reservation in advance.

I uploaded my review as a picture. Check in between 2 to 7 pm, but the wellness center is open between 8:30 18:30. So we needed to go to hotel earlier.

A great hotel in terms of location, services, food, and the workers are very cooperative. The rooms are very clean. A suitable swimming pool and a view of natural scenery. It is very suitable for families and children. There is nothing to complain about.

Room is good. Bathroom small. Reception ok. The lady was friendly. Bar and restaurant ok. The young lady who was working in the bar and the restaurant was top. She knows what hospitality is! Great!

The location is perfect, just immediately at the lake, there are rooms which have magnificent views. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

It is a brilliant renovated modern hotel on the Balaton lakeside which fulfills all needs. Definitely a five star choice.

Great hotel. Spacious rooms, tidy, clean. There is air conditioning, which is very good on hot nights. Private beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. Shallow lake, very safe for children to swim. Table tennis, billiards. Breakfast is delicious, everything is fresh. The coffee is delicious. Wide selection of food. The bar is open until 20:00, you can buy a drink to refresh yourself on the beach...

Great resort for people, who like silent relax, nice wiev. Lots of interesting advertising things for kids. One serious problem - only cash. That's why 4 stars

Located close to the beach, a well-kept, tidy, clean, friendly hotel. The owners are kind and helpful, the rooms are comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, too: tasty and at a reasonable price.

August 2021. Hospitable inn, rich delicious breakfast, quality clean rooms. They are open to requests with kind service. Next to the main road, so the rooms facing it are a little louder. I can recommend it to everyone

I was looking for accommodation for one night and I am very glad I chose this. Real family hospitality, laundry cleanliness, you can park your car in the yard. Breakfast can also be requested. I was in a single room, but they also showed me the others which are beautiful. Thank you very much for your kind hospitality and to whom I can recommend it!

The accommodation is clean, modern with new furniture and a beautiful bathroom. Rooms are air conditioned. Wi-Fi is free. The park is well maintained with lots of flowers. The hosts are kind and helpful. The resort is close to the center, but in the most beautiful street of Szemes it is located in a forest with ancient trees.

Very good accommodation. Everything is clean. Beach 10-14 minutes on foot. Shop park pharmacy drink discount bazaar row nearby. There are plenty of restaurants 6-8 minutes away.

A family-friendly place in a calm environment. It is ideal for families with small children who want to relax a little apart from the hustle and bustle of Balaton. The center can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. The kitchen could be a little bigger, but it is well equipped.

Nice, friendly staff. The room is clean and nicely furnished. It is next to the railway, yet a quiet calm environment. If you have to write something negative, maybe the fact that the shower head holder is fixed cannot be adjusted. This is inconvenient for people of non-average height.

One of the best places to stay at Balaton. The staff is excellent and the owner is very freindly. The rooms are highly clean and are niceley renovated. The rooms are also equiped with air conditioning. And it also has wifi.

The lady who received was very kind, the room / bathroom clean and tidy. Unfortunately, TV didn’t catch a single transmitter, ants were at war everywhere 😁. WiFi is slow and intermittent.

Dear owner and staff welcome all guests. The rooms are nicely renovated, suitable for a peaceful rest, with air conditioning. Opposite the room, the restroom shower cabin was in clean and beautiful condition. The accommodation is not far from the beach, restaurant, shop, gift shops, train station.

Very nice place. The beach is circa 400 meters away which is further than what you would expect from the adverts but the hotel pool makes up for it. The food was OK. They have a bowling alley which is nice. But not so nice if your room is above it. And I mean 2 floors above it. So ask for a room as far as possible from it.

I expect more services from a 4 star hotel... Nothing in the room, no water, coffee machine, the fridge is empty... And quite old furniture

It is a good hotel with quiet and air-conditioned rooms. The air-conditioning is a bit weird, though, as it is located in the bathroom. The food is very good and you can take as much as you want. The welness is very good also. The parking is too small for the amount of rooms they have. I don't understand their pricing policy, they told me they will send me discounts for the next year and it turned...

The villa is located a few steps from the beach, a few minutes away from restaurants and markets, the owner is incredibly friendly, the room is nice and clean, the breakfast delicious... I first visited in 2015 and this is definitely not the last time.

They are very nice people. Delicious food for breakfast. One thing that was a struggle was that we even heard the bathing of the 3rd Room at midnight. Unfortunately, snoring could also be heard in the next room.

We arrived in one of the worst thunder storms in living memory and they were outside waiting to help us in with our bags! The room was clean, spacious and the breakfast had something for everyone. We spent 3 days at the Garden in mid-May. The room is clean, fragrant, comfortable bed, just right for the purpose. For a half-board meal, you had to walk (2 minutes) to the yacht harbor restaurant, the staff was kind and polite. The quantity and quality of food and drinks was great. Negative: non-smokers should be more careful, the smoke from the neighbor is disturbing. Overall we had a great time...

Breakfast is excellent and amazing. Full hungarian style, not a lot of options, but what is out is amazing. But that is all the good things to say about the place.. It said it has a swimming pool, nope. Very hot rooms, but has air conditioning,but the batteries where dead and they where not changed for ages. It was quite okay. The room was clean, but not all the rooms have air conditioners. We have, so it was quite nice at summer. The food was good, but we missed the juices at breakfast. They have menu for lunch, those lunches were delicious for that price.

We spent Christmas at a hotel. The staff is very kind and helpful. The cleanliness of the room is fine. The food is very delicious. The organized programs were very good. (Concert, disco) The problem was that there was no lunch option at the hotel. Since other restaurants and shops were closed during the Christmas holidays, we did not have lunch for three days. Very nice service, clean tidy environment, pleasant shady, spacious yard and beachfront. Value for money is perfect. There is a dog beach right on the beach next to the hotel, providing a real experience for both the owners and the dogs, and not least the other guests. SUPER!!!

The retro building from the outside hides a modern interior. The staff is kind and helpful. The buffet breakfast and dinner are excellent. All rooms have a terrace with a nice view of the lake. We are here for the second time this year, now with my sons and grandson who enjoys the place very much. My place is here next year.
