Hotel Divinus

We stayed here with our kids, and it was a great choice. The location is perfect — right next to Nagyerdő Park and just a 5-minute walk from Aquaticum. The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time.

Our room was clean, big, and very comfortable. The kids really enjoyed the playroom, and they loved the little sightseeing train that leaves from the hotel.

Breakfast was tasty with lots of fresh food to choose from. We also had delicious dinners at the hotel restaurant, and on weekends the outdoor grill was a nice extra. The wellness area was very relaxing, with pools, saunas, and a jacuzzi.

It’s a great place for families. We’d love to come back!

The hotel is like a resort, insanely comfortable. The staff has been amazing. The bartenders (Zsolt and Zoltan) have blown out minds. Better craft cocktails than we get back home, at less than half the price, and a smile on their face the whole time.

I would happily stay here any time in in Debrecen.

I travel quite a lot – for example, this year alone I've spent one out of the past three months staying in hotels across seven different countries. I do this every year, and the year isn’t over yet. Among the dozens of hotels I’ve stayed in, *Divinus Hotel was the only one that charged for the in-room tea bags and coffee*, which you usually prepare yourself. This was surprising and quite disappointing.

The room was a bit *overfurnished for our taste*, with heavy Louis XIV-style decor. That said, we understand many guests may actually appreciate this style, so it wasn’t a problem for us – just not our preference.

On the positive side, *breakfast was rich and enjoyable*, with a good variety of options.

We returned to the wonderful Hotel Divinus after our pleasant stay in December. Back then, we were also two families, each with a small child. We were looking for a hotel with a pool, a sauna, and a play area for children.

The little ones had a great time every time at the play area and the pool, the food was to everyone's taste, the staff was very friendly, the services were impeccable, and the prices were very good.

Each dish had allergens listed, so if you have gluten or other sensitivities, you can easily find suitable options.

My wife also had a massage with a lovely lady, and I went to the sauna several times – it was amazing! We will definitely come back!

This is my first trip to Hungary and Debrecen. A colleague recommended the hotel and am so glad he did.

From the minute we arrived everyone was so nice and welcoming. The hotel is in a great location with many options for dining nearby.

The breakfast had so many options. You will be sure to find many things you like.

Be sure to stop by the bar to see Zsolt. He is not only extremely pleasant and courteous. He is also very knowledgeable about the area and gave some great recommendations.

The amenities are also incredible. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Debrecen.

I’m here every week due to my business. Coming back every Monday feels already like going home since I feel so well pampered - and I want to highlight my favorite contact at the hotel. Zsolt is the best barkeeper I met. He knows how to treat guests. It’s a pleasure to have a Drink and some nice conversation after an excessive working day.

Great hotel near the university with everything you need and more. The food in the hotel restaurant is also very excellent. I would recommend it!

Hotel Divinus was an excellent choice in every way! The breakfasts were extremely varied and delicious, always finding a new favorite. The restaurant was elegant and stylish, and the dinners provided a true culinary experience. The rooms were spacious and luxurious, and the staff was friendly and very attentive. We truly relaxed and recharged during our stay. I recommend Hotel Divinus to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway!
