I stayed at the Katalin Ponziò hotel for one night because of a car problem. It was a real surprise to meet this particular place a bit out of the way but within walking distance of essential services and a quarter of an hour from the center of Budapest. But the real surprise was to meet the wonderful person who runs it, Ms. Katalin: after a very difficult day,her sweet welcome made me feel protected...

What we liked: • Peaceful neighborhood, far from the city buzz — perfect if you’re after some quiet time. • Friendly elderly hosts, very kind and helpful (they speak some English — or just use Google Translate/GPT and you’re good). • Clean rooms, comfy bed, tasty breakfast, hot water, and strong Wi-Fi. • Affordable pricing and plenty of parking spots out front (paid, like most of Budapest). What...
An family business with lots of secret jems. From a very good restaurant near by, with lots of shopping areas around 300m. For children it is a big public playing ground nearby.
The owner was very kind and helpful. Very nice environment if you can keep track of your keys.
If you are into something modern and private then this is not the place for you. It is beginning to show its age on the inside but we were quite fine with that - a different experience for us on our 6 week trip across Europe. Overall staff were pleasant, in particular the young lady who checked us in and who was extremely helpful and ensured, after a mix-up, that we had off-street parking. Breakfast...
I am currently staying in Hotel Ábel Pension and so far it’s been absolutely fantastic. My experience here started 3 days ago when me and my girlfriend checked in at this villa from 1913. As soon as you entered in the pension, you are welcomed by the staff members and sometimes the owner who is a very polite and calm gentleman. On walls, there are paintings made by the talented owner. This place is...

Very comfortable accommodation in a quiet location. The hosts were very welcoming and spoke good English. Pleasant good sized room with a comfortable bed and good ensuite facilities. Although no breakfast provided at this accommodation all facilities including a toaster, kettle, cutlery, plates dishes, microwave and washing up facilities were freely available in a pleasant dining room for all guests...
Strategically positioned near the M1 and M7 motorways and great access to central Budapest by tram and metro

This guesthouse is great. The location is absolutely central. 3 minutes from Deak Ferenc square which is a public transport hub, right at the shopping street on the square where Christmas market usually happens. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds. You can also use the kitchen as well. Elisa's daughter has a small showroom for designer fashion clothes in the guesthouse as well.
This is my 5th trip to Budapest and my favorite place I've stayed. Elisa is so sweet! We only needed a quick place to sleep for 5 hours before our very early flight so I found this place at he last minute near our boat dock. Upon arrival I regretted not finding it at the beginning of our stay when we spent several days in Budapest as this was SO much nicer than our other location. The room was immaculate...
The best Elisa is a tremendous person goes out of her way to help inform assist in want ever way possible to make your stay in Budapest wonderful great location 5☆

its just bedide.the.blaha subway.station.basicly the hotel.is clean,but at the.moment i.was.there,some works.go on the rooms,so.it was a.little messy that time.
I was upset with an employee here, but the manager resolved the issue immediately and offered me a free breakfast. Great service! I recommend this place.
Centrooms offers a great central location, just a short walk from the airport bus stop — very good for travellers. There is a quiet and cozy courtyard. Room was comfortable. However, no kettle was available in the room. It's a good option for a stay with good price.
Not bad. Subway station, bus station, and tram station are right in front. You have to ask for the heater remote control.
The hotel is clean, the gentleman when we checked in was very helpful. But the lady that took over from him couldn’t even find me a spoon to stir my tea with. Then the lady next day was complete waste of time and wasn’t very helpful at all
The location of the hotel is perfect and convenient. It is in the city center. Even we arrived at 12:30am, but we could still check in smoothly. The price is very affordable. Overall, I strongly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at Omega Guest House for 5 nights, paying €180 in total — definitely a very economical choice. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and this place was exactly that. The rooms were very basic, almost reminiscent of student accommodation. The bathroom was functional, and there was both a TV and air conditioning. However, I was bemused to find there were two TV remotes but no control...
Cheap private room in an amazing location. Next door to the subway and bus station. Lots of restaurants in a bustling area especially at night. Has everything you need. Also lots of secure doors and locks. Staff were extremely nice as well. However I got a little bit of attitude from the guy for dropping off my key in the drop off box instead of front desk. But the women staff are extremely nice!!...
The location was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, noise from the hallway was constantly audible, and an outdoor light that seemed to be motion-activated kept turning on and off throughout the night, making it very difficult to sleep.
I really liked the hotel. The hosts are nice. It's located in the center, and there's a beautiful courtyard. It's quiet and pleasant.
location is good and everything is smooth, really more than just worth it with such a cheap price
The location is good it is right next to the metro and it doesn't take long to walk into the main parts of the Jewish quarter. They were great in waiting in reception for my arrival late at night. The cleanliness isn't great, they will change the towels if you want them too but the room was not cleaned other than the bed been made. There were some dead bugs in the room for days without being cleaned...
