Highly recommended. Nice, stylish new hotel, next to the Kisvárda spa facility. The staff is extremely kind and attending. The breakfast is simple, but always fresh - variety of 3 types of cheese, 2 salami, 2 ham, vegetables, omlett or fried egg, fruits, cornflakes, yoghurt, selection of breads.

Friendly staff and great location in the town. Less than 10 minutes to walk to the new football stadium or the main square. A couple restaurants are right around the corner, and a Tesco is across the street.

I booked the cheapest room through a brokerage site ... I didn't expect a miracle, it didn't even become :) It was suitable for sleep, and although tiny, it was clean and tidy. Breakfast included in the price and friendly environment, service!

Very big place. Serious events such as It is an ideal place for weddings, but it is also suitable for a passer-by. It has a well-equipped sauna with quite a large dip. I use this regularly and love it ..... :)

Nice hotel near Hungary-Ukraine border. Appartment was big and well-furnished. Restaurant is across the road. Barmen speaks Russian and Ukrainian and very helpful. Prices was moderate.

We got a bit small room (3+1) , but nice.

Really nice hotel and staff. It's also great that they have tickets to the zoo and spa so you don't need to bother to queue for those on the spot. The hotel has direct access to the spa. The room was spacious, modern and in general better than in the pictures on Booking. 😊

The night of February 16, 2018 was spent at Hotel Írisz. Located using our favorite on-line booking engine, we were happy with both the accommodations and the price. Parking, breakfast and Wi-Fi / W-LAN Internet access were included in the price. Recommended.

It's a very nice hotel placed in a quiet place. It's very closed to the Aquapark and the Zoo. We stayed at this hotel in March this year. The rooms are very clean, and the breakfast was very good. I do recommend this hotel.

We stayed 2 nights at this little hotel in Nyiregyhaza. It's situated outside the city, but near te Aquarius aquapark and at a 5 minute walk from the Zoo. Also in walking distance there are some good restaurants you must try. Rooms are small but clean, staff ok, except that they speak poor English. Breakfast also fair for the money you pay.

The hotel is clean, nice, you have robes for the spa and towels. The breakfast was good, but it would be nice to have more variety if you stay more than one night. The rooms are not very big, but they have a big and comfortable bed. Also, in the room price is included the entrance at the aqua park. The staff is very polite and you have parking space.

We had a great stay, rooms are older style but very clean and spacious, hotel is in a big park with many trees, breakfast was mainly Hungarian style but very tasty, its also just a few minutes walk to the aquapark or zoo, there is also a hamster and a turtle in the lobby 😊, the staff was nice friendly and helpful. Old hotel. Clean rooms. Service forgot to supplement shower gel the second day. Otherwise it's somewhat rusty 🏨 hotel longing for its past glory. Great value if you travel with family. The zoo is 10 - 15 min walk from the hotel. The lake and its park and Aqurius SPA just across the road.

I was looking forward to this trip but unfortunately the hotel did not meet the expectations. The rooms were nice but the swimming pools were really dirty and full of dead skin. Everyday it smelled like urine around the bathrooms and there was a lot of water on the floor. Absolutely disgusting. The food was good but there was not much diversity. Once the fruits put out were done, there was no replacing...

I was there for a business trip and forgot my iPad in the room after I checked out. They delivered it to the office. That’s 5 star service! Everything else - rooms/ breakfast/ general service as well was perfect.

The hotel and the rooms are nicely renovated. The location is good. The elevators are unbelievably slow, but more importantly, the food is very average, definitely not 4* standard. Not strictly hotel issue, but we were expecting better spa facilities as well.

The hotel is WoW, briliant idea on how the interior is arranged. It is near a central park where a lot of interesting things may be done for all members of the family!

The rooms are indeed beautiful. The hotel's interior is amazing. The restaurant is spacious. The garden terrace which is meant to be both relaxing and kids friendly is indeed fabulous. Transition to the Zoo is as simple as opening a garden door. The staff is very friendly. Overall, the idea is brilliant and the execution seems flawless. I must say: kids loved it! We got back a second time and everything...

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Pangea. Beautiful room, friendly staff, dinner and breakfast were great and offered good variety. Wifi was decent enough to even catch up on my Netflix. The fee includes access to the zoo. And most of all very child friendly facilities from playroom to outdoor playground, child menus and even provide a crib if needed. Look forward to voting again.

It also has a room suitable for gatherings of up to 40-50 people in a well-arranged area. There is also a partially equipped kitchen. It is not a mass accommodation and it is about 10 minutes by car from Nyíregyháza.

Regarding the accommodation we booked upon arrival, it was too small for the two families, and after the subsequent search and phone calls, we found the Pihenj Meg guest house. We were very satisfied, it's a beautiful place, the huge communal space is pleasant, all the rooms are nice and clean. We have everything we needed, kitchen, fridge, wifi. I can only recommend.

A személyzet kedves, mosolygós, segítőkész volt. Mivel volt egy sokkal jobb fekvésű, jobb kilátással rendelkező szoba a lefoglaltnál, magától felajánlották a cserét. A reggeli is ízlett, (svéd asztalos) és a kávé is jár hozzá. Abszolút pozitív! A panzió elhelyezkedése is kitűnő. Szinte minden 2-6 perces sétával elérhető. A szoba klímás. Mindennel meg voltunk elégedve!

It's an uplifting feeling. The accommodation is clean, the receptionist is kind. The owner was having a birthday party at that time, but of course the soundproofing is zero. So it's worth staying here, but ask if it's quiet at night

The staff is the best part of the hotel!!! Most have been working there for many years and felt welcomed each and every time. Adam at reception, Csaba and Renata at the restaurant and Evelin chief of housekeeping, all provided excellent service! Breakfasts are super, with ample variety for all. Small rooms, but comfortable. No screen on qindows or patio door. The hotel is on the edge of the town, you can get in the city center in 5 minutes by driving. It is a quiet place. The patio had no lights and had lots of tree debris and dead bugs on it. Overall the hotel could be cleaner.

Overall good, we had a good time there. The room we had was a little outdated, didn't look like the photos, the furniture seemed older but in good shape and clean. The hair dryer was not working, but we called the reception, and they provided one. The bathroom walls are made of glass, so there is no privacy in the bathroom. The restaurant and the food were good. There is a small playroom near the restaurant...

The food in the restaurant was great (both breakfast and dinner). The rooms are cosy, the indoor pool was small but kids loved it. Horses around the property kind of surround you with tranquility; we got scared by one but it ended up just fine. Overall, a very nice atmosphere!
