It's a fantastic kids-friendly wellness hotel with delightful staff. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The bathroom is excellent, with a bathtub. We had a great dining and breakfast experience

Very nice hotel with several activities available, including horse riding, swimming pool, sauna, tennis court, soccer and basketball fields. Very good breakfast with many options

The hair dryer was not working, but we called the reception, and they provided one. The bathroom walls are made of glass, so there is no privacy in the bathroom. The restaurant and the food were good

Overall good, we had a good time there. The room we had was a little outdated, didn't look like the photos, the furniture seemed older but in good shape and clean

There is a significant wellness wing with a sauna steam room, light therapy showers, swimming pool, hot tube and a 50cm 1 1/2 feet deep kids pool with toys

Horses around the property kind of surround you with tranquility; we got scared by one but it ended up just fine. Overall, a very nice atmosphere!

Althoigh the place is clean, the atmosphere is a "dusty '80s", with furniture and memorabilia from a late era. The biggest room in the hotel was cluttered with heavy old furniture that gave off an old undesirable smell

A room for collectors perhaps, but not for 2020 customers. The windows were hard to open, which suggests that they are rarely opened to vent out the smell

The bathroom was clean, the pillows were hard, nothing but a small fridge and an old tv from 1990

The receptionist Greta is a real angel ,she helped us a lot. The breakfast ladies are super cool Zsusza and the other nice lady. The room is new ,very comfortable and beautiful. The breakfast is very delicious

Everything is great about this place. The staff is really flexible, the rooms are clean and the beds are really comfortable. It is also close to 2 restaurants so you can walk to them

Converted from the former "Tanacs udulo", a real treat in Sosto. The entrance from the main road is very bad (please try to ignore this); the rest is great

Nice place, nice pools, near the Aquarius wellnes. Very good and rich breakfast. Even if the hotel have no restaurant, there are a few very nice restaurants near the hotel. We will be back for sure.

Good, quiet place properly nerby the lake and the Aquarius Spa. Kind and gently people, nice room, good breakfast. Half board is outside so not advice it.

Nice hotel placed at a lake. Rooms rather small but quite modern and have comfortable beds. You can relax in one of three small pools with water of various temperature, jacuzzi and sauna. Great value for money!

Was great for a 3 stars hotel, you get free tickets for the spa as well for everyday you sleep there. Also the prices are quiet reasonable.

However, the service was excellent - which is something to bear in mind considering there is a consistent lack of customer service in the whole of Hungary -the desserts were delicious and the atmosphere was very nice and traditionally Hungarian! I would highly recommend this place, not just to the tourist visiting this city but also to any locals who've never had the opportunity to visit the restaurant

I stayed here for one night on a road trip across Hungary and was surprised at the convenience and quality of the Hotel at such a low price

Error was discovered in the menu card and cleaning the rooms in the summer period is more difficult for the staff. Hotel Median is a recommended place for family, leisure and business meetings as well

Very clean, comfortable and well thought-out. The water pressure is great, and air conditioning is perfect.

20am there wasn't too much food left BUT the lady from the kitchen came out and asked everybody if more food was needed as they would have been happy to cook if we wanted - this was a very nice touch! There's no tea and coffee making facility in the room which is acceptable but there's no room service option either for those who need a coffee first thing in the morning

It was good in overall, rooms clean and pleasant, bathroom I liked a little less but at least it was well equipped. Breakfast was well prepared and diverse. The biggest issue was communicating in English

the hotel is a bit far off (abt 2 km) from the city so it's recommended to approach it by car (public transport is scarce in tokaj). the whole complex is relatively newly-built with a very polite and helpful staff

the rooms are really clean and bright, the bathrooms are okay for a 3-star hotel. we've received breakfast during our stay and it was delicious and more than plenty

the spa facilities are satisfactory and i'd add extra cookie points for making bicycles available for guests. they are a great leisure choice in this area

all in all, this hotel is recommended for both couples and families who are looking for a great stay in the "wine capital" of hungary

You could only talk to one receptionist (they changed) and one waiter (called for help to the desk). They were nice and helpful once we were able to communicate

If you know what to expect it's a decent place. There is only one person at reception that speaks some English which makes communication difficult, but otherwise the room is good and the breakfast not bad

My own fault for not parking closer to the exit or outside the hotel but something you should bare in mind and don’t make the same stressful mistake I did :) Great hotel & would recommend it to anyone staying in that area

The breakfast spread I had waiting for me at a pre agreed time was a mixture of meats and cheese as shown in my pictures. There is a chill out / lounge area set externally to the main building but I didn’t go in there

There is a factory & train line nearby but I did not notice any intrusive noise during my stay (4 days). The staff do not speak much English but they are very polite and helpful

Room was top. Food excellent. Spa highest quality Maybe small minus, Saturday more people who don't sleep there so not always enough beds next the pools. During weekdays there is not this problème. Breakfast also good.

Well-executed Hungarian cuisine in a fine-dining setting. Stopped for lunch during a tour of Tokaj wineries with the family (wife, early 20's son and daughter). The starting soup courses were all excellent

Our main courses were all very good. My wife and I had roast pike fish; our son had a wild boar dish. The wine list offered many Degenfeld wines by the glass

This place is a gem: a great hotel and also an exquisite place to taste Hungarian cuisine accompanied with excellent wines from the property. We enjoyed the food, the wines & the quiet atmosphere.

As it will have a negative impact on them. They will loose the home feeling and relaxed atmosphere. I have travelled all over the world and this is a place that I would have loved to own, open or even run

Thankfully we eat fish and there was one main course with fish but meant we didn't really have a choice. The fish was prepared and cooked to perfection though and we ordered wine with every course

Very big place. Serious events such as It is an ideal place for weddings, but it is also suitable for a passer-by. It has a well-equipped sauna with quite a large dip. I use this regularly and love it ..... :)

I booked the cheapest room through a brokerage site. I didn't expect a miracle, it didn't even become :) It was suitable for sleep, and although tiny, it was clean and tidy

Very modern, clean, spa hotel in the heart of Mad, Not a lot of regional character in the hotel, it feels a bit sterile. But the staff was really nice, and the breakfast offering was generous and good quality

This place is a hidden diamond in countryside. Hotel itself is not so huge which makes them a place with family-atmosphere. Room rates are reasonable, whole hotel is clean and looks really modern

There are many places around what you can visit (including many wineries) but you could also enjoy the great view from the huge terrace while you are tasting the wine of Mad

For kids the hotel has a huge inside playground. For adults it has a small wellness part as well

Great value for money. Ask for Jozsi's scrambled eggs for breakfast :-P And Mád is the center point to all Tokaj region. Must see.
