The staff was very friendly and gave me tips about Pecs but I also shared nice conversations with them. During my stay, there was a couple staying at the hotel which ate vegan and the staff went out of their way to accomodate there needs. So nice and so friendly. Relaxed atmosphere.

Very friendly, very central, very nice and clean. Old fashioned family hotel in the middle of Pécs. Warm and welcoming staff, large rooms with air conditioning, fridge and tv. Spacious bathroom. Nice and simple breakfast with all you need to get going. Reception not open all the time, but the friendliest staff you can imagine being there whenever you need. Will visit again!

The service was prompt and very friendly. This is an excellent location not far from city center. Walking distance to the bus station, a HUGE piac and Churches, historical sites. Mall is across the street. Only 3 stars for the room, the beds were too hard to sleep comfortably.

Such a great little hotel! Receptionist was very helpful, very nice and positive, was smiling and informative. Breakfast very very delicious and you plenty of choices, from eggs to oats and home made cakes too. Room and bathroom were nice and clean! They also have their own parking!

Small hotel in the middle of the city! Very comfortable location. Tasty breakfast and nice personal. The conveniences can be much better, but it has it's own style charm.

I enjoyed every single thing in szent gyorgy residence I stayed here for 6 days with my family and the rooms were beautiful, the staff were friendly, the food was brilliant and the service was excellent I highly recommend this place to everyone I'm looking forward coming here next year

It's a fatalistic place, not only for meals but also for accommodation. As it is located on the top of the hill so a little bit hard to drive, but the view is always wonderful at the top. We ordered an owl plate for two, which was very delicious, and enough for we three. We will come back again!

Lovely view of the city from the terrace. Food is well-presented and plentiful. Parking on the premises is a nightmare, I'm sorry to say. That's why the 4 stars.

It is an excellent restaurant from the hotel we stayed at. We ate a couple of times, had both the buffet and the a la carte menu. We liked it a lot. The suggestion of the waiter was tasty!

This hotel feels like home, but even better. The rooms are clean, nice and spacious. The room has a mini fridge. The staff are always very kind and helpful. The hotel is situated above Pécs, in a magical forest. We love to come "home" here every time, we visit Pécs.

Perfectly quite location, ideal for a romantic getaway. The hotel's modern but nature friendly style perfectly fits in the foresty environment, ideal for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended if you prefer a quiet stay away from the noisy city life. The hotel is only a 10 mins drive from the city centre too, so it's easy to pop out for a romantic dinner too.

Highly recommend! It's the place to relax and recharge your batteries in beautiful surroundings. The staff extremely friendly, especially Bianka, the receptionist. She is a Gem. Her bubbly personality adds something extra to this place that you can't find anywhere else. She went above and beyond to make sure that all our needs are met. Cannea wait our next visit in December. Concept from the Hotel is very interesting. There are no room numbers, rooms are named according to sports. I liked the idea. Very clean rooms. Big space in it. Very comfortable. Whole stuff very nice(i hope the owner or the manager reward them for engagement). Location is on the outskirts of the city, but the view is gorgeous. I would recommend it to everyone.

It is a very distinctive historic hotel. Although the rooms are small, they are comfortable and clean. It is located in the ancient city area and you can visit various attractions on foot. The breakfast is rich and the CP value is high. There is a parking lot in the basement, which is very convenient and worth visiting again.

Art Nouveau hotel on a main pedestrian street with dozens of bars and restaurants nearby. Located in heart of the city a few blocks from Szechenyi Square and within walking distance of all major attractions. Over 100 years of history as one of the fanciest hotels in Pecs. Renovated in 1976-88. Nice large room and great breakfast buffet.

The location should be in the city center, with many restaurants to choose from. The house is antique and unique. The room is a little small for two people, and the toilet is still the old-fashioned flush type (the kind that can only be used by turning on the natural faucet). This is probably because it is an old hotel. The view from the balcony on the fourth floor is still worth seeing

With my partner, this is one of our secret favorites. It is always special to live in a castle. Due to the protection of monuments, this hotel is an elongated structure that fits into the castle wall, so we can get to our small room through long corridors. We really feel like we live in a castle. The room has a beautiful view of the castle courtyard and the surrounding hills from the small window....

Correct value for money. Clean, recently renovated but one can still recognise the signs of the 80's. The breakfast is what local people eat. Nothing fancy, simple and cheap ingredients. The castle environment is really cool.

Fantastic experience staying in a castle. The rooms are clean and somewhat updated (shower, bathroom) but the furnitures are from the old days (not from the original castle old days more like from the 70’s) yet it’s still well set up for a travelers. It was a little effort to check in and out since the reception area is not always attended. Nice view from the rooms.

Hotel is at a great location. Just 1 minute walk from Kiraly Street. Services and room was good. They even offered baby cot. Although they need to work more on the cleanliness like vacuum of the carpet, cleaning of the kettles in the room, cleaning the sofa in the room. Rest the hospitality and employees were friendly and prompt in their service and the overall stay was good.

This hotel is just amazing. We were with my girlfriend for a weekend in pecs and we couldn’t find anything. This place offers us a room for one person and adapts an extra bed for as to sleep, we've ended up paying less than a hostel double room. Good location,clean,decent rooms,staff was very nice and helpful

The hotel is just 5-8 minutes away from the the main square by foot. The room was comfortable and the parking was a plus. However, the breakfast was not great at all and we had to pay extra (300-400 huf a cup) to get coffees, as they were not included in the breakfast. The checkin hostess was kind but the checkout one was more on the rude side.

The room and bed was good,the breakfast was ok. The receptionist terrible,her organizing skills were below zero,she said to everything that I don't know or I am not sure if I can resolve it. Here you can not change euro in Hungarian forint,which was bad for us, because we arrived with a group late in the evening and had to go early in the morning. Only one thing was good that we can postpone our booking...

Not bad but a slightly tired and run down hotel compared to most I stayed at in Hungary. The location was very good though and free parking was very handy.

Warm staff, large rooms and very good location. Very basic breakfast and there are no amenities in the room. Don't forget to take you shampoo, shower gel and others you may need!

Had a very nice stay at Hotel Central in one of the apartments. The kitchen could have been a little cleaner and better equipped but we were overall satisfied. Tasty breakfast and the option to take it up to your rooms, lovely and talkative staff, best value for money.

I would give 5 star if the bedroom, toilet and bathroom have keys to lock their doors. After all, you can stay here. The receiptionist is very kind and friendly.

Even if its "just" a 3 star hotel, we got everything we could wish for. The receptionist was helpful, nice, helped with parking, restaurants, the room was confy, we slept well on the beds, there was air conditioner, and a lovely bathroom with nice hot water.
