I want to note comfortable beds, excellent shower room, high-quality filling (shower gel, soap, etc. The view from the window is not the most presentable, but it was not important for us. Breakfasts are rich and varied

room didn't have towels when we arrived, was unclean and the whole hotel except wellness is dated. bar was closed and restaurant was busy due to weddings. we got some leftovers from wedding menu

The products are fresh and tasty. Cons: location, 20 minutes by public transport to the center, ~40 minutes on foot

This is a very simple 3-star hotel, used to be a student hostel. Internally nicely renovated, do not expect too much but rather cheap so good cost-benefit ratio. The rooms are OK, the breakfast selection is fine

We stayed in a triple room (006). Spacious room with good modern design, large closet, refrigerator, international TV, 2 beds and sofa, 2 armchairs, table

I enjoyed the wellness centre also the gentleman at the desk was very nice. the dinner is some to remember in a good way good portions and tasty. I will return again when I am around pecs

Breakfast included in price and considering the hot summer again in Europe the pool facility is a huge bonus. One of my greatest time to cool down in a pool

The shower was awkward because of the half glass at the tub

The hotel was clean and comfortable, they suggested to go to the roof with a glass of wine bc the panoramic was wonderful :) So they were very helpful however the receptionist was not familiar with the public transport possibilities

We planned to go on March but due to unexpected reason we had to cancel and they were very flexible to move to another date

I really recommend this hotel to families as well

were then given bad directions to the hotel parking lot which sent us the wrong way up a one way street and then not told to refuse the ticket at the barrier which resulted in a large cash payment from us in ex̌act change of small denominations

For instance, we were not told that are room key needed to be inserted with the hotel logo facing out. Instead, we were given a key card without a logo. On ðay two our key was taken àway

Our corner room was bright and spacious and Pèçs was a very pleasant surprise for us. Not much to choose from àn̈d we felt like we were intruding if we stayed past 9:30

Worst of all, the front desk staff, while finding and helpful, failed to share vital information that would have been very helpful

Art Nouveau hotel on a main pedestrian street with dozens of bars and restaurants nearby. Located in heart of the city a few blocks from Szechenyi Square and within walking distance of all major attractions

The pool is quite small, and the rubber lining was wrinkled

A few major downsides: it was very difficult to communicate in English at the reception! The second downside is breakfast: plenty of fruit, but the rest of the dishes were limited in variety: only omelette, sausages, and wieners, a few types of cheese, and yogurt

The hotel consist of two parts a newer area which is 4 star and an older original area, but overall needs a good re decoration and up dating throughout, felt more like a 3 star hotel, just comparing when have visited other 4 star hotels

The hotel is in a residential area (unusual for a hotel). It has a few parking spaces in front and a small parking lot in the inner courtyard. The rooms are large and spacious. The bathroom is okay and clean

They have a huge selection, friendly and well-prepared Routine Professionals, and they also take individual orders. We POINT we asked for and received.

I enjoyed every single thing in szent gyorgy residence I stayed here for 6 days with my family and the rooms were beautiful, the staff were friendly, the food was brilliant and the service was excellent I highly recommend this place to everyone I'm looking forward coming here next year

I love this place, the staff is so helpful and I really enjoyed Hungarian-style breakfast and lunch in the restaurant. Only 20 minutes walk to the centre of the city ❤️

Location easy walk from train station; hotel's Victorian-architecture makes for homey atmosphere; breakfast buffet highly recommended, especially the paprika omelette

The room has a beautiful view of the castle courtyard and the surrounding hills from the small window. We ate excellent food in the castle restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel, the service is kind and polite

Due to the protection of monuments, this hotel is an elongated structure that fits into the castle wall, so we can get to our small room through long corridors. We really feel like we live in a castle

With my partner, this is one of our secret favorites. It is always special to live in a castle

I recommend it to those looking for simple, friendly, intimate accommodation

The rooms are clean and somewhat updated (shower, bathroom) but the furnitures are from the old days (not from the original castle old days more like from the 70’s) yet it’s still well set up for a travelers

Super hotel, delicious breakfast, kind and comfortable.

This made the temperature in the room very uncomfortable as opening the windows is not really an option if your room is facing the street as it is very busy and noisy until quite late in the night, and traffic starts early in the morning

The rooms are nicely furnished and clean as well. The reason why I cannot give 5 stars is the fact that the air-conditioning was not working, although they claimed to had fixed it after I reported the problem

A nice and clean little hotel very close to the historical city center with free out &indoor parking. The staff are very nice, and I was happy with the breakfast choices, especially for a 3-star hotel

We stayed here for 15 nights whilst it was lovely we did have a few problems, house keeping would often ignore the signs and decided not to clean our room when we wanted it, none of the rooms or building is sound proofed so people would bang on the wall at 8am in an attempt to silence my children as the walls are paper thin, there was also no safe in the bedroom to keep belongings safe and also whilst...

Lots of towels in the bathroom. We had a kettle and one bag of tea for each guest which was nice. The breakfast in the morning was really good with a lot of options

Excellent small hotel with friendly staff, hotel is pet friendly also,situated on the hill Mekesh few minutes outside the Pecs town, u need a car or taxi to reach downtown, but here is more quiet atmosphere and clean air, woods, nature and close to city zoo and Tv tower on the top of Mekesh hill

Calm and nice place. Only 12 rooms, so not crowded either. The breakfast was great also. We had problem only with the shower, the water went down very very slowly, so we couldnt take shower more than 2 minutes.

The bed had a huge mattress and it was amazingly comfortable! The furniture in the room was also very nice and with 2 armchairs and a nook to sit on. There was a safe where we could keep our valuables safe

Her bubbly personality adds something extra to this place that you can't find anywhere else. She went above and beyond to make sure that all our needs are met. Cannea wait our next visit in December

Concept from the Hotel is very interesting. There are no room numbers, rooms are named according to sports. Whole stuff very nice(i hope the owner or the manager reward them for engagement)

It is an excellent restaurant from the hotel we stayed at. We ate a couple of times, had both the buffet and the a la carte menu. We liked it a lot. The suggestion of the waiter was tasty!

The staff was extremly kind and helpful! They made us feel like we are at home with our relatives! You can find everything you need during breakfast and we have got a nice, clean,comfortable room wich was so styleish and we even had a balcony with flowers outside

Was so good to wake up for the view! My girlfriend had birthday that time, and they helped me to prepare the dining table with flowers for the occasion! We had a lovely Time! They made IT unforgettable!

What I didn't like were the two windows: one on top at the slanted ceiling and one a slit at knee-level. For breakfast in the cellar there was a buffet with a good choice of items

Since the reception closes at 7pm one enters with a special key from the back door after that. From the hotel it is an easy walk to the pedestrianised Kiraly street and to the main square Szechenyi Ter

My quite small room had a narrow single bed, but enough storage space and a writing desk with a lamp. It also had a full mini-bar, which I didn't need

If I come to Pécs again defenately book at the Sopianae hotel! The location is excellent, very close to the Árkád Shoping center, and the city center. Parking within the hotel is safe and comfortable

This self-named Boutique Hotel is in a historical building, painted in bright yellow and carrying the name of Pecs in Roman times

Next morning the big surprise, because breakfast was included, we did expect something very simple according to the price of the place, the big slap of happiness, the breakfast was amazing, super delicious and thought on every detail, as we were some of the last people before breakfast time end the person who is in charge of the breakfast came out from the kitchen carrying a tray with hot croissant...

Fast check in, great room ( all from size -( we are a family of four), the quality, extra though put in in all details for maximum comfort. Generosity of staff, we felt so welcome, and had a great time

All in all the place provides a feeling of a family owned house. The breakfast buffet is small but offers for each taste something suitable. The staff is very mindful and speaks German and or English on a very good level

Last time the bed was very inconvenient since the mattress was old and the room had a strange chemical smell. Fridge did not work and WiFi was so weak in the ground floor room that it did not load anything in the browser

I stayed in this hostel for three nights in a single room. The first night is was very busy and the owner took me to another hotel (and paid for it) because I had a booking at his place

The other two nights I came and stayed here. The place is close to the city center and it has good value for money. I totally recommend this place
