The staff was very friendly and gave me tips about Pecs but I also shared nice conversations with them. During my stay, there was a couple staying at the hotel which ate vegan and the staff went out of their way to accomodate there needs. So nice and so friendly. Relaxed atmosphere.

Very friendly, very central, very nice and clean. Old fashioned family hotel in the middle of Pécs. Warm and welcoming staff, large rooms with air conditioning, fridge and tv. Spacious bathroom. Nice and simple breakfast with all you need to get going. Reception not open all the time, but the friendliest staff you can imagine being there whenever you need. Will visit again!

The service was prompt and very friendly. This is an excellent location not far from city center. Walking distance to the bus station, a HUGE piac and Churches, historical sites. Mall is across the street. Only 3 stars for the room, the beds were too hard to sleep comfortably.

Such a great little hotel! Receptionist was very helpful, very nice and positive, was smiling and informative. Breakfast very very delicious and you plenty of choices, from eggs to oats and home made cakes too. Room and bathroom were nice and clean! They also have their own parking!

Small hotel in the middle of the city! Very comfortable location. Tasty breakfast and nice personal. The conveniences can be much better, but it has it's own style charm.

I love this place, the staff is so helpful and I really enjoyed Hungarian-style breakfast and lunch in the restaurant. Only 20 minutes walk to the centre of the city ❤️

I enjoyed every single thing in szent gyorgy residence I stayed here for 6 days with my family and the rooms were beautiful, the staff were friendly, the food was brilliant and the service was excellent I highly recommend this place to everyone I'm looking forward coming here next year

It's a fatalistic place, not only for meals but also for accommodation. As it is located on the top of the hill so a little bit hard to drive, but the view is always wonderful at the top. We ordered an owl plate for two, which was very delicious, and enough for we three. We will come back again!

Lovely view of the city from the terrace. Food is well-presented and plentiful. Parking on the premises is a nightmare, I'm sorry to say. That's why the 4 stars.

It is an excellent restaurant from the hotel we stayed at. We ate a couple of times, had both the buffet and the a la carte menu. We liked it a lot. The suggestion of the waiter was tasty!

This hotel feels like home, but even better. The rooms are clean, nice and spacious. The room has a mini fridge. The staff are always very kind and helpful. The hotel is situated above Pécs, in a magical forest. We love to come "home" here every time, we visit Pécs.

Perfectly quite location, ideal for a romantic getaway. The hotel's modern but nature friendly style perfectly fits in the foresty environment, ideal for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended if you prefer a quiet stay away from the noisy city life. The hotel is only a 10 mins drive from the city centre too, so it's easy to pop out for a romantic dinner too.

Highly recommend! It's the place to relax and recharge your batteries in beautiful surroundings. The staff extremely friendly, especially Bianka, the receptionist. She is a Gem. Concept from the Hotel is very interesting. There are no room numbers, rooms are named according to sports. I liked the idea. Very clean rooms. Big space in it. Very comfortable. Whole stuff very nice(i hope the owner or the manager reward them for engagement). Location is on the outskirts of the city, but the view is gorgeous. I would recommend it to everyone.

Excellent small hotel with friendly staff, hotel is pet friendly also,situated on the hill Mekesh few minutes outside the Pecs town, u need a car or taxi to reach downtown, but here is more quiet atmosphere and clean air, woods, nature and close to city zoo and Tv tower on the top of Mekesh hill

Ok hotel close to the city center. Rooms were fine and clean but a bit older, there's enough space for two people. I'm the back there's a small, cosy courtyard to sit down and relax. Limited gated parking was free and available on-site. Staff was friendly, breakfast was buffet with cold and warm options, quality was ok. Overall very acceptable for the price of 36€ I paid per night.

We stayed here for 15 nights whilst it was lovely we did have a few problems, house keeping would often ignore the signs and decided not to clean our room when we wanted it, none of the rooms or building is sound proofed so people would bang on the wall at 8am in an attempt to silence my children as the walls are paper thin, there was also no safe in the bedroom to keep belongings safe and also whilst...

Mediocre quality, staff not very helpful. I asked for instant coffee , never got it. The restaurant is being refurbished causing noise. I would have liked to be informed about it at the time of booking. I don't think I will return to this place.

This hotel is simply incredible. Very polite staff, great dinner, the rooms are clean and perfect. These beds are one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in. Will return again!

The hotel is modern and nice, staff is nice too, but the beds (which are the most important thing in any hotel) were really really firm, so firm you might as well sleep on the floor, the carpet would be softer probably. Totally broken in all places after sleeping on that bed.

Impressive building, nice exterior and classical interior, extremely well situated in the city centre, friendly staff and favourable prices. The breakfast is OK, the rooms are very small.

Very nice traditional hotel in the city center. The room was clean and big enough. The furnitures are old from the '90s. There is air condition. Finn sauna is free. Breakfast is served in the hugh and beautifull restaurant hall. Wifi is free.

Stayed in April 2017 for one night, we would go again. Lovely Art Nouveau atmosphere, beautiful restaurant, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, great location on the main street (Kiraly Utca). Our Superior room was nice, comfortable, quiet and clean, but very very small, we were glad we had just a small backpack. Overall, good value for money.

I like this place. An old art nouveau hotel building located in the heart of the city. Undergrand garages available, OK rooms with A/C, good breakfast.

The prices are okay, as is the service, but the food would not be something I would recommend. The soup and the main dish were mediocre at best. The rice, for example, was one of the worst rice I've ever eaten, totally bland and way overcooked. The dessert was pretty good though.

It feels like student canteen (everyone sits at one big table), but the food and the prices were okay anyways. They have vegan options which is a big plus!

An affordable place in the outer part of the city. The daily menu is very tasteful and the portions are big. Some of the waiters are a bit grumpy though.

Second time at this hotel and I can say I would come back again. Great pricing friendly staff, family owned who also works there. Breakfast included in price and considering the hot summer again in Europe the pool facility is a huge bonus. One of my greatest time to cool down in a pool.

OK hotel but feels a bit dated - to reach international standard it would need some modernisation. Air condition works half well, so quite warm in our room. Good location with short walking distance to the city centre. Did not visit the spa area so not able to review that part.

The hotel consist of two parts a newer area which is 4 star and an older original area, but overall needs a good re decoration and up dating throughout, felt more like a 3 star hotel, just comparing when have visited other 4 star hotels. We loved this hotel. The room was clean and well equipped (except for a drying rack for swimwear...) and all staff members were helpful, especially the lovely lady in the restaurant. Food was delicious and plenty. The pool was clean and the sauna and hot tub excellent. The gym was a bit basic and too warm, but available.

Rooms offered in the old building were spacious, clean but without the desired privacy. Windows were in the main corridor, so passerby lodges could see right through the windows. Rooms in the new building are perfect, so is breakfast and location. Staff good.

Ok place. The rooms are nice and spacious and are quite clean. The spa area leaves a lot to be desired, same goes for food options. The staff was nice enough but I would have appreciated more if they were more polite and organized.

With my partner, this is one of our secret favorites. It is always special to live in a castle. Due to the protection of monuments, this hotel is an elongated structure that fits into the castle wall, so we can get to our small room through long corridors. Correct value for money. Clean, recently renovated but one can still recognise the signs of the 80's. The breakfast is what local people eat. Nothing fancy, simple and cheap ingredients. The castle environment is really cool.

Fantastic experience staying in a castle. The rooms are clean and somewhat updated (shower, bathroom) but the furnitures are from the old days (not from the original castle old days more like from the 70’s) yet it’s still well set up for a travelers. Hotel is at a great location. Just 1 minute walk from Kiraly Street. Services and room was good. They even offered baby cot. Although they need to work more on the cleanliness like vacuum of the carpet, cleaning of the kettles in the room, cleaning the sofa in the room. Rest the hospitality and employees were friendly and prompt in their service and the overall stay was good.

Decent place to stay for a few days, comfortable rooms, close to Kiraly street and the rest of the interesting sites, yet they provide a parking. The staff is nice, they speak good English and the breakfasts are satisfying. The only gripe I'd mention is the size of the bathroom in our room that was very small.

The hotel is just 5-8 minutes away from the the main square by foot. The room was comfortable and the parking was a plus. However, the breakfast was not great at all and we had to pay extra (300-400 huf a cup) to get coffees, as they were not included in the breakfast. The checkin hostess was kind but the checkout one was more on the rude side.

The room and bed was good,the breakfast was ok. The receptionist terrible,her organizing skills were below zero,she said to everything that I don't know or I am not sure if I can resolve it. Here you can not change euro in Hungarian forint,which was bad for us, because we arrived with a group late in the evening and had to go early in the morning. Not bad but a slightly tired and run down hotel compared to most I stayed at in Hungary. The location was very good though and free parking was very handy.

Warm staff, large rooms and very good location. Very basic breakfast and there are no amenities in the room. Don't forget to take you shampoo, shower gel and others you may need!

Had a very nice stay at Hotel Central in one of the apartments. The kitchen could have been a little cleaner and better equipped but we were overall satisfied. Tasty breakfast and the option to take it up to your rooms, lovely and talkative staff, best value for money.
