Szalajka Liget Hotel és Apartmanházak

Stayed here with a big family group. Breakfast and dinner were great, loads of selection and not too crowded when we visited in August. 2 play rooms near the restaurant for the children, kept ours entertained (ranging 2-8 years old). Medium sized outdoor pool that we often had to ourselves and a small indoor paddling pool for the youngest, plus sauna and jacuzzi. We had an apartment which was really spacious, but other family members had hotel rooms which also seemed a very good size. We were only there for a few days to unwind, so didn’t bother with any excursions, not sure there is that much to do in the area, but others in the group went to the trout farm and enjoyed themselves. Overall really good value for money, only complaint was that the reception staff also served drinks, so we had to wait for several people to check in before enjoying a much needed beverage. Also very unusually demanded ID documents for the children, never encountered that before. Oh and wasps, so many bloody wasps intent on ruining our enjoyment of the outdoor seating area, but not sure that’s the hotel’s fault.

Május 1-4.-ig töltöttünk el 4 nap 3 éjszakát a Hotelben (2 felnőtt + egy 18 és egy 14 éves fiatal társaságában). Már az érkezéskor a recepción kedves, mosolygós fogadtatásban volt részünk, ami pozitívan hatott a hosszú hétvégére! A 2.emeleten egy kétlégterű családi szobában voltunk, fantasztikus tetszett, tágas és szépen berendezett volt. Csodálatosak az apartmanházak is, melyek nagxobb családoknak ideális. Tisztaság, felszereltség maximálisan 10/10 pont. Félpanziós svédasztalos étkezésünk volt finomabbnál, finomabb ételekkel! Nagyon tetszett, hogy nem kellett asztalt keresgélni, mert ki volt jelölve az asztal szobaszám alapján. A wellness, a szaunák minden igényünket kielégítették. Teniszpálya, ping-pong etc. Mindenhol patyolat tisztaság, ami számomra nagyon fontos. A környezet, a kilátás gyönyörű volt! Felejthetetlen hosszú hétvégét tudhatunk magunk mögött, köszönjük a mosolygós és kedves személyzetnek! Mi biztosan visszatérünk! We spent 4 days and 3 nights at the hotel from May 1st to 4th (2 adults accompanied by an 18- and a 14-year-old). Right from our arrival, we were greeted at the reception with a warm and friendly welcome, which had a positive impact on our long weekend! We stayed in a two-room family suite on the 2nd floor, which was fantastic – spacious and beautifully furnished. The apartment houses are also wonderful and ideal for larger families. Cleanliness and equipment were absolutely 10/10. We had half-board with buffet meals, which offered a variety of delicious dishes! We really appreciated that we didn’t have to look for a table, as each table was assigned based on room number. The wellness area and saunas fulfilled all our needs. Tennis court, ping-pong, etc. Everything was spotless, which is very important to me. The surroundings and the view were beautiful! We had an unforgettable long weekend – thank you to the smiling and kind staff! We will definitely return!

Nice hotel at an excellent location with a lot of facilities!

This is a fantastic place, a resort in the beautiful Szilvásvárad. You can stay in houses with kitchenette, two bedrooms, living room. It has a fireplace and free wifi. The breakfast is excellent, great choice, and dinner containt 8-10 varieties of hot dishes. The resort has wellness facilities too.

We had New Years Eve, altogether 2 nights in this hotel. We had a great experience. We stayed at one of the apartment houses with cozy rooms, kitchenette, sitting room. The brekfast and dinner were fine. The New Years Eve party including the dinner, drinks and entertainment was awesome. I recommend to spend some days, as well as New Years Eve here.

Great location, nice rooms, great wellness facilities

Very nice hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. There is a good selection of food, and the wellness is really wonderful. The surroundings are breathtaking, the air is clean, and the pine trees provide delicious smell.

A great place to spend some time! A wonderful corner of the country! :) Friendly staff, delicious meals! :) We enjoyed it very much!

Beautiful location, lovely staff. The hotel is located in the mountains, which give a wonderful panorama from the balcony and the outdoor jacuzzi and sauna. The saunas were sometimes overheated, and there was no water or fountain to drink from. We didn't receive sheets to use in the saunas, only the towels. The room was clean and well-equipped, but the extra bed was very uncomfortable. The hotel has good common places, kids room and gym. Very kid-friendly. The breakfast is good, the dinner was really great on Saturday, but very average on Friday night.
