Where to stay in Szilvasvarad

It was an unbelievable experience. Strongly recommended. Especially the foods, holy mother! The most tasty foods in all Hungary.

We were there together with my girlfriends to celebrate my soon-to-be sister-in-law's bachelorette party. She asked to have a wellness weekend instead of a girl's night out party evening. Lovely place, good service, beautiful surroundings. Overall great stay.

We went there for 1 night. The location of the hotel is spectacular. Room was very nice. But the food options for dinner were really limited and not tasteful. Also the a waitress was during the breakfast time was really acted rude towards me while serving me which I didn't expect at all.

Excellent wellness section, multiple saunas, clean swimming pools. Nice service. Tidy rooms, clean bathrooms. Food was adequate, I loved the breakfasts especially.

Decent hotel, spa is nice but too small. Wine selection is limited, quite strange for a wine region.

Very nice hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. There is a good selection of food, and the wellness is really wonderful. The surroundings are breathtaking, the air is clean, and the pine trees provide delicious smell.

Perfect location, kind, solution oriented personnel. The rooms looks modern, the inernal design is composed well. The breakfast options are quite ok

Quiet neighborhood. Modern breakfest. Matress and pillows were very good. Sauna and pools were surprise to top of the place.

The breakfast and location was good, occasionally at busy times some food was not available but it wasn't a problem. The staff at this hotel are friendly and helpful

We stud here with our son and our dog. IT was nice stay with everything what do you need. Wellness was Fine but shoul be renovated. New elevater was superb. Brekfast Just Fine. Restaurant was cozy and quait which was Fine for us. Waiter was taking Care About US and in the good mood.

We were there only for a lunch after a nice walk down from Fátyol falls, but the service was excellent, the venue well maintained and clean, and the food was superb. They are also especially flexible with regards to food for the little ones. Second visit there, most likely not the last, might even stay for a night or two too next time.

Well. 2 times I have been there the 1st thing I need to tell: make sure you have enough time to wait for the food. Do not even think about a quick lunch it takes so long to receive anything so go before you starving. Staff is confusing one time sayin’ they cannot serve u as expected a group then decided to have us the last guests. It has hungarian foods, which taste okay, nothing special.

Very basic, but clean and delivers what they promise. Fabulous location!

We are returning guests, as last time everything was great! Breakfast is delicious and plentiful, the hosts are kind and helpful! The children really enjoyed it, they have everything they need, and we adults were also able to relax! Although you have to leave the room by 10, they provided us with another one, so the children could bathe before leaving! We recommend it to everyone, you won't regret...

Perfect place with kids. The room was big enough for 5 of us. The garden is big and shady and the pools are really good for the kids. If you are staying with young kids and you want to put them to bed early then avoid the house with the public kitchen. It can be really noisy at dinner time. We booked the two-person accommodation for 3 nights. A well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable bedroom, a good-sized bathroom and a balcony overlooking the street. The price was absolutely right, the administration and booking went smoothly. Kind, helpful owner, willing to help with anything. We got the ground floor apartment in the middle of winter (Jan. 26) at a very good value for money. Fully equipped, spacious room, comfortable bed, correct bathroom, nothing else was needed. Nice welcome from the hosts. This is the time to go there if you don't particularly like the loud, bustling life in the Szalajka Valley and the surrounding hillsides.

The hosts are very nice, the apartment is perfectly equipped and very clean. We had a room facing the street, but no noise was heard, it did not disturb the peace. It is close to everything, its location is good. A perfect place to stay for a few days' trip.

Clean, decent apartment

We couldn't find the remote control for the climate control, but it didn't bother us. Other than that, everything was great. I strongly recommend it for 4-6-8 people.

Ideal for a larger family - group of friends (5-max 8 people), spacious space in the garden for cars (up to 4), at the end of the garden, next to the pool, the garden pavilion is ideal for meals in good weather, the wifi is also perfect here :) . The decoration of the room is a bit much, but it is comfortable and well equipped anyway, there is everything an average tourist can need. There were a lot of dogs, but we love them, it wasn’t bothersome. It is close to local attractions. The walls are thin, every movement is audible, it could bother someone.

We loved it! A cozy garden, the house is spotlessly clean everywhere! I can't imagine a better place to stay. The táltos restaurant is also a must! :)

My partner and I were looking for a restaurant on Sunday evening where we could have dinner, we went to several places in Szilvásvárád, but they didn't accept us anywhere, only here, despite the fact that we came in a quarter of an hour before closing time. The waitress was very nice, the cook baked/cooked us fast, extremely good food. We will come here again next time.

Stayed there 3 times. Every time it was a really nice experience. Rooms are simple but absolutely clean, bright and furnished with convenient furniture. Kitchen is equipped with everything you might need and even more. Place itself is quite and has nice view on each side from windows. Sensationally good. We came over from another accommodation because the conditions there were unbearable and, as the name reflects, this was the Oasis for us. The first time I have stayed in a guest house all by myself. I was the only guest today in the rooms but no complaints. The place is quite a distance from the center but it's beautiful. If you like quiet and peace, then this is the place to come. Like an oasis from the hustle and bustle. The room is pretty and bathroom is adequate. My host Viktor brought me some chimney cake, coffee and tea.
