The breakfast and the dinner were just fantastic! The selection of food and the desert assortment is super yummy! For me personally, the size of the tea mug meant the world! Usually, at the hotels, the size of the mugs for tea is miserably small, but not here! The temperature of the served courses was just fine and always filled

It was an unbelievable experience. Strongly recommended. Especially the foods, holy mother! The most tasty foods in all Hungary.

Excellent wellness section, multiple saunas, clean swimming pools. Nice service. Tidy rooms, clean bathrooms. Food was adequate, I loved the breakfasts especially.

The towels have a fresh scent, and you cannot feel that certain smell that I hate, and what usually the wellness areas are having due to the humidity

We were there together with my girlfriends to celebrate my soon-to-be sister-in-law's bachelorette party. She asked to have a wellness weekend instead of a girl's night out party evening

The wellness area's staff is very professional and the area itself deserves more than 4 stars! They're cleaning out everything every 15 mins. My biggest concern is usually the slippery floor

The saunas were sometimes overheated, and there was no water or fountain to drink from. We didn't receive sheets to use in the saunas, only the towels

Medium sized outdoor pool that we often had to ourselves and a small indoor paddling pool for the youngest, plus sauna and jacuzzi

Very nice hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. There is a good selection of food, and the wellness is really wonderful. The surroundings are breathtaking, the air is clean, and the pine trees provide delicious smell.

We were only there for a few days to unwind, so didn’t bother with any excursions, not sure there is that much to do in the area, but others in the group went to the trout farm and enjoyed themselves

Overall really good value for money, only complaint was that the reception staff also served drinks, so we had to wait for several people to check in before enjoying a much needed beverage

Quiet neighborhood. Modern breakfest. Matress and pillows were very good. Sauna and pools were surprise to top of the place.

We spent a weekend there, the customer service was really good, the girls in the front desk and the waiters were always nice, smily and helpful. The common areas are clean, the the size of the pool was just perfect

They are also especially flexible with regards to food for the little ones. Second visit there, most likely not the last, might even stay for a night or two too next time

We were there only for a lunch after a nice walk down from Fátyol falls, but the service was excellent, the venue well maintained and clean, and the food was superb

We have only had some sort of a souffle here, but that was relatively good, although we expected more. I can't rate any other menu items and dishes unfortunately. But it's assumably a popular choice in the area.

2 times I have been there the 1st thing I need to tell: make sure you have enough time to wait for the food. Do not even think about a quick lunch it takes so long to receive anything so go before you starving

We are returning guests, as last time everything was great! Breakfast is delicious and plentiful, the hosts are kind and helpful! The children really enjoyed it, they have everything they need, and we adults were also able to relax! Although you have to leave the room by 10, they provided us with another one, so the children could bathe before leaving! We recommend it to everyone, you won't regret...

The room was big enough for 5 of us. The garden is big and shady and the pools are really good for the kids

Five star rating for the place, hospitability and kindness of the staff. If you would like to visit the Szalajka völgy, you should take your car to the central parking lot

If you are staying with young kids and you want to put them to bed early then avoid the house with the public kitchen. It can be really noisy at dinner time

Ideal for a larger family - group of friends (5-max 8 people), spacious space in the garden for cars (up to 4), at the end of the garden, next to the pool, the garden pavilion is ideal for meals in good weather, the wifi is also perfect here :)

The kitchen is well equipped, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, stove,. there is no wardrobe in one of the rooms :(, clothes left from the suitcase, and there are also two TVs

We couldn't find the remote control for the climate control, but it didn't bother us. Other than that, everything was great. I strongly recommend it for 4-6-8 people.

Although it is next to the Ózd road, it is not louder than the noise of a Pest street, the sound of a passing car is heard every few minutes

This is the only hotel in Hungary, as I have experienced so far, that is absolutely suitable for all generations. There are also fun programmes for the hotel guest every day, so your stay will be truly colorful

We had a great stay at Hotel Bambara. The spa part, while the pools are not big enough for swimming, is varied with plenty of continuously working bubbling elements, and great saunas

The game food is usually exceptional too! On the slightly negative side, the room cleaning could be more thorough, there are items in disrepair (toilet flushing partly not working/flooding on every second use, brush holder torn down, etc)

Also for the kids experience some monkeys to be found were clearly missing from their place, some audio elements in the playground houses were blocked by tree branches thus not working, etc

This hotel is not only individual, because of its main theme, but also for the wide variety of extra services it offers for the smallerst ones and for the adults

The activities for kids are plenty and well organized. The food is great and varied, with even 3 different soups per evening, which is a big plus in my book

Perfect accommodation in all respects, I can only recommend. You are in such a good place that you do not want to go hiking, because you already feel good on the spot 😁 The hosts are very kind, you like to talk to them

The surroundings and the view are very nice. Unfortunately, the tourist house has not been in operation for years. The access road is stony, but very uneven. You can walk safely and comfortably without effort

You can drive up carefully by car, but there is a risk of damage to the chassis. It is only safe with a higher-built car

The wellness part has ton of saunas, large jacuzzi pool and relaxing benches. Restaurant all-inclusive menu has many choices. reasonable cost and unparalleled service

I would like to note as well that the stuffed eggplants and plum pie was so amazing, that I would love to have a recipe to recreate it at home. The live music program in the evening was amazing and different everyday

We had an amazing time. The place is gorgeous, and the service was fantastic. The lobby bar in particular was our favorite. The cocktails, coffee drinks, and service were all excellent.

Stayed here a while ago but I still thought I would write a review. I would highly recommend staying here. The rooms were clean, comfortable, the scenery is beautiful and quiet (in a good way) and the staff are very nice

the nearest restaurant is approximately 1km away, and also closes early! They have a sauna and a "salt room". The latter isn't used often but it's quite interesting, they say it clears your lungs helps you breathe

The hotel is fine and very quiet. The restaurant closes early, so if you plan to eat something, don't wait until it's too late

We got a clean, high-quality room, and the garden is also pleasant. The city center can be reached with a short walk, there is no need to use public transport. Our host was also nice and friendly

Each room has a separate table and chairs with barbecue facilities, swing, slide, etc. The Castle, Dobó Square and the City Center are about a 15-minute comfortable walk

The stop of the small train (Egervár) to the Szalajka Valley is 5 minutes away. If you are looking for a calm holiday that satisfies all your needs, don't miss out

We stayed in a little house which had everything you need for a comfortable few days away. The houses are set in the heart of the vineyard amongst the pretty countryside of Eger

Beautiful vineyard in a stunning location. Simple but comfortable bungalows. It gives you a feeling of staying right in the nature. Relatively close to Eger - 5 mins by car. I liked the design and the outside shower

so, a really great wellness getaway our our little family of 2 adults and 3 little boys (11, 8 and 6 years old). The only annoyance was the much too high beds in our otherwise spacious and clean suite

The room has a fair size with everything you need for a small child ( baby bathtub, crib, bottle warmer). The child room had plenty of toys and the wellness area had 2 swimming pools for children and water toys

Nice place. Lot of playgrounds for kids. Also good program for kids. No chance for bored kids. Spa is not very big but works just fine. Great food and service :)

A "Kender Olaj Méregtelenitő Maszázs" ("Hemp Oil Detoxification Massage"), one hour long, well worth the 16,000 Forint fee

(in the long run, I'm not sure I'd come here) there were some negatives! in the summer, it would be worth buying an air conditioner, because even if all the windows and doors are open, it's hellishly hot inside

(you need a Wifi repeater in the apartment) there were a few other small things, but they are negligible. anyway, it's really a great place, I can only recommend it to everyone!

At such a price, it is difficult to find accommodation around the castle. The apartment was clean and relatively modern. it is worth staying here for a few nights

(this is the curse of the instantaneous water heater) from the balcony you can see all the neighbors and they can see everything. Wifi is very weak, intermittent
