I was in the room 12 and it was very confortable. The bed was amazing I fell asleep very fast and I woke up to bird sing. The staff was very helpful and food was tasty. The breakfast was varied. This hotel is situated near the center.

Hotel is about 12 min walk from the bus station. Few minutes walk to the lake Balaton and to the nearby shops. Rooms are good for the price. You have to come to the reception for anything you need. There is no elevator. Breakfast was very basic.

Nice place, but the receptionist wasn’t very kind to us 🙁 We stayed in the apartments outside the hotel and I don’t had Wi-Fi 😔 The hotel building looks amazing. That deserves 5⭐️

Very beautiful and clean rooms with very friendly staff. My only con was the bad wifi in the room for which I had to do my online meetings in the lobby. 🥲 But otherwise everything was perfect including the food! 🥰

My husband was here business and I accompanied him.  The hotel was in an excellent location and I rented a bike on 2 occasions to see the sites:  Tihany Abbey and Church, pleasure boat trip on Lake Balaton and a tour of the city.  The food was good and I was able to select a healthy variety at breakfast and dinner.  The desserts were excellent!  I had a great massage and used the swimming pool regularly...

This hotel is going through a renovation floor by floor. If you get a new floor (floors 2 or 3) then you will be very happy. If you get an old floor then it ranges from adequate to very dated. Overall this location is fantastic being on the Tihany shore with a private beach and a lovely pool. I was at the hotel in a renovated room,it was quiet the beds were comfy the food was good and there was a lot of it,the interior pool was good but the exterior pool was dirty there was a cigar in the exterior pool,there were partyes and the arcades were good,the staff was nice,but it was a challenge to find the private beach,it is worth the price.I Recommand!!!!

When you put it in context everything was ok. Decent, simple, amenities not too new. But good breakfast and close to the lake. Nice parking lot. The only thing that bothered us was a total lack of information in at least English tempting e-menu for dinner? Sure, if you speak Hungarian. But the place was good overall.

Location is fantastic. It is only few minutes away from train station on foot, few minutes away from the beach, few minutes away from the restaurants. It has its own restaurant as well. Breakfast was ok. Room was really clean.

When we arrived again with our almost 2-year-old little girl, I was surprised that instead of last year’s small play corner, there was a larger playroom. Good place, close to Tihany on the South side of Balaton. Room ok with the frigde. Rich breakfast but everything was cold.

The stuff was very helpful and kind, it has great facilities, jakuzzi, table tennis and well equiped for children.

Nice place, with a really fine sauna and steam cabin. The rooms are big enough with nice cubboards. There are no mosquito nets on the windows, which can be problematic in summer. The walls are also very thin.If you get a room next to a family with little children you can only sleep when they do.

It deserves five stars in every way! Quiet pleasant place, clean room, nice staff! Thank You! One suggestion: a mop would be useful in the bathroom to mop up the water so the tiles don't stay wet!

the staff is kindly polite for breakfast with a delicious wide selection.Because unfortunately my feet are sick I was glad that there is an elevator only to the room had to go down stairs which was strenuous.Before booking I inquired by phone in this direction and got a reassuring answer. . The cleanliness of the whole hotel is impeccable. The room is also suitable for all areas.

We spent 3 nights here, the place is absolutely fine! The pool is great, the breakfast was also absolutely good (several types of meats, cheese, vegetables, hot dogs, pastries). I was here for a mathematical psychology seminar, and we were very well taken care of at Jogar Hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and quite relaxed about having 35 students in the hotel, playing in the game room until late evening. We felt welcomed and treated well as guests. We were here only one night but received only positive emotions. The biggest pluses from us: 1) for the location: not far from the highway (it is easy to find this place + gas station on your way) 2) amazing air as the hotel is close to the lake 3) playground with trampoline and children's room with different games (just necessary when you are traveling with 3 children:)) 4) restaurant is open 16....

It was an excellent experience. Everything was very nice and clean. They have a beautiful garden and location is very close to the lake. Breakfast was also very good and tasty. Nevertheless stuff is very friendly. If you want to spend a few days and to relax , then don´t miss this place! For sure that I will come back next year

Absolutely first class hotel. Family run. Spotlessly clean. Spacious room. Gorgeous private gardens. This is how a hotel should be run and such hotels are hard to find. I think we will no longer stay in four star hotel chains but look for three star family run places. It's really good here.

Nice, friendly staff. The room is clean and nicely furnished. It is next to the railway, yet a quiet calm environment. If you have to write something negative, maybe the fact that the shower head holder is fixed cannot be adjusted. This is inconvenient for people of non-average height.

One of the best places to stay at Balaton. The staff is excellent and the owner is very freindly. The rooms are highly clean and are niceley renovated. The rooms are also equiped with air conditioning. And it also has wifi.

The lady who received was very kind, the room / bathroom clean and tidy. Unfortunately, TV didn’t catch a single transmitter, ants were at war everywhere 😁. WiFi is slow and intermittent.

Dear owner and staff welcome all guests. The rooms are nicely renovated, suitable for a peaceful rest, with air conditioning. Opposite the room, the restroom shower cabin was in clean and beautiful condition. The accommodation is not far from the beach, restaurant, shop, gift shops, train station.

Lovely hotel by lake Balaton It was wonderful, the hotel is located just minutes from the beach, breakfast was delicious with home backed goods. Good but not good enough This hotel needs an urgent upgrade. The spa area is great as is. But the coffe machine would have flooded the restaurant if i would have not told thexstaff. Juice machine was not turned on. Okly water came out. The breakfasg was barwly ready at 8.30 when time was 8am. (Whicj i comsider late for a hotel). The rooms are smelly of humidity and else.

We had a great time staff were proffered and friendly and the atmosphere was awesome definitely looking forward to spend some more quality time there.
