The location is across from a private harbor and close to the beaches. It's an ok location. The hotel has plenty of parking. The room was not clean, the service was ok, and there were no mosquito nets on the windows, so many mosquitos around. We would recommend staying somewhere else. If you have to stay there don't eat dinner, it's just snacks and they could have been better. Breakfast was the best...

Not really a 4 star hotel. Many missing in room amenities. We had a room on 1st floor and had to carry up our luggage by stairs. Hotel had a musty smell. The room was large and spacious and there was a good variety for breakfast. The reception staff at front desk when we checked out was a pleasant and helpful lady. She answered many of our questions. Enough space for cars and free parking.

A bit run down rooms but clean. The staff is extremely nice and professional, never had that level of real hospitality in a hotel. Great breakfast, evening snacks, salads and sandwiches are surprisingly tasty and nicely presented. Staying here feels like beeeing on an island of peace.

A wonderful smaller hotel, that invites you to relax and be present. It has a warm, sensuous atmosphere. Love is put into the details. Staff very nice, although we stopped just to have drinks. Lots of tables outside. The nearby road is not too loud. Well kept, quiet, fashionable, including the choice of the music (largely raeggae), not too loud.

This place was absolutely charming. Very old style, it felt a bit like traveling back in time. The town is quiet and peaceful at night. This was a last minute booking and the hostess was kind enough to come up in person to show us around. Highly recommend.

I lovin it. Host is so friendly and room is clean. I have been there lately at night but he waited for me for check-in. In a room have a lot of stuff that you need; towel, dishes, cutlery, pan, etc. In the morning you can walk to the end of hotel and see lake view! The location is close to attractions in Tihany, the love village. Unfortunately, I just spending a night. Never mine I will be back.

We spent a few days here with our grown-up son. It's a very nice place. Everything about the hotel, the garden, and the Balaton beach are wonderful. Very kind service. The hotel is all-inclusive, and eating and drinking are very convenient. The swimming pool is free. The room is a bit simple, but it is very cost-effective in the Lake Balaton area.

Great place for a family vacation. Great kids pool area and fantastic water slides that your kids will love. Very shallow for all ages although there is a rope crossing bridge in the pool and it is 105 cm deep. It's very good to be honest

Hotel is about 12 min walk from the bus station. Few minutes walk to the lake Balaton and to the nearby shops. Rooms are good for the price. You have to come to the reception for anything you need. There is no elevator. Breakfast was very basic.

This hotel is going through a renovation floor by floor. If you get a new floor (floors 2 or 3) then you will be very happy. If you get an old floor then it ranges from adequate to very dated. The rooms are nice and the small pool is nice, but there is no kitchen or dining area. You can't even make a clinking coffee. The common dining room was closed due to covid. It's not comfortable if the apartments don't have at least a kitchenette. For those who do not need this, the place is 5 stars in terms of value for money.

Really old fashioned and basic. Ideal for just staying the night and a quick dip in the lake but don't expect more. This used to be a really fancy hotel with quite a bit of features and activities but they were clearly abandoned.

It's a good place to stay in, the food was good, personal friendly and pretty much everything you can ask for. Only thing I disliked was collapsing WiFi.

When you put it in context everything was ok. Decent, simple, amenities not too new. But good breakfast and close to the lake. Nice parking lot. Location is fantastic. It is only few minutes away from train station on foot, few minutes away from the beach, few minutes away from the restaurants. It has its own restaurant as well. Breakfast was ok. Room was really clean.

I was here for a mathematical psychology seminar, and we were very well taken care of at Jogar Hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and quite relaxed about having 35 students in the hotel, playing in the game room until late evening. We felt welcomed and treated well as guests.
