Island Luxurious Suites Hotel in Netanya

Stayed for 2 nights / 3 days with family.

I read the reviews on TripAdvisor and other sites beforehand but hoped for a better experience, service, and amenities.

Upon arrival, we had to change the room immediately as it was neglected. We were moved to a lower floor, but the room was not any better.

On the first night, the Wi-Fi went out for a couple of hours, which was very inconvenient for work. When I asked when it would be restored, I was given an excuse rather than a clear answer.

I asked for chairs for the balcony and was told they were not available due to wind, although it was over 15°C and not windy.

There was no microwave and no coffee machine in the room. We were supposed to be in an Executive Suite with two rooms, but received something only similar. There were no king beds as promised at booking—one bed was a queen, and the other was two beds pushed together. When asked about this I was told that that’s what they have.

The entire hotel needs *serious* renovation. It may look good at first glance, but everything—and I mean everything—is overused, chipped, and worn out. The furniture clearly needs replacement or refurbishment.

I could easily upload over 100 photos showing defective areas and issues in both our rooms and the hotel in general.

The kids’ club was closed at all times, despite being advertised as open.
The gym was also closed.
The pool as well.

The hotel is very expensive for what you get.
It is not worth it.
Book something else.

This is a hotel that seems to cater mostly to Orthodox Jewish. As such the rooms are dull and basic. The furniture is worn down, dirty and uncomfortable. The mattress is old (or feels old) and too soft. In general the maintenance level of everything in this hotel is below par. There is no beach access (seems like one is planned for the future). Breakfast is acceptable but below average for an Israeli hotel and is served in a dark window-less hall. This hotel is anything but Luxurious. Having said that, the view was simply phenomenal. I recommend to take your coffee from the sad dark dinning hall and drink it on the porch in your room (though... If course they don't have lids to the cups so be careful as you do that).

The room was really large and had a breathtaking view. We had hot water for about 15 min then none after that. The tvs didn’t work properly. Wasn’t the cleanest other tbe. That it was great
