Embassy Hotel

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. They pretend they don’t speak English and will switch from Hebrew to English to add to the incompetence. I requested early check out due to an unforeseen situation and went back and forth with expedia and hotel management who showed zero understanding. Escalated my complaint to Expedia due to the ongoing construction at all hours of the day- jack hammering, drilling, shouting from construction workers. Rude/dismissive behavior from staff. Rooms are very basic- old and dirty carpet-gives a Motel 6 vibe. Construction happening right outside the hotel- extremely noisy!! Maid service equally poor- came back after hours and my bed wasn’t made. Not entirely sure what tidying If any even occurred. Additionally not family friendly- if you would like to see people walking around with rifles across their chest then this is the place. Dont recommend at all. Look elsewhere

Very disappointed with my experience at Embassy Hotel.

I made a reservation late at night and immediately based on other reviews I saw we decided to cancel it. My partner called the hotel right after, and they told her on the phone that they would cancel the reservation for a 100 ILS cancellation fee.

However, the next morning I discovered that the hotel marked me as a “no-show” and charged me the full amount for the stay completely ignoring the cancellation agreement we had.

This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I feel misled and unfairly charged. I hope this review helps others be more cautious when booking here.

Avoid these people at all cost. Immediately cancelled a reservation after learning that Tel Aviv was under attack by missiles and rockets. They charged a cancellation fee even after I explained our circumstances, including age, almost 80, and fear of aggravating health with stress. Not a vacation if under missile attack. They refused to waive a cancellation charge and put it thru on credit card even after cancellation request. If this is how they treat seniors, not a place that cares for the customer. Strictly out to get your money.
