Warm attitude from the owners. Quality of stay exceeded the expectations for the price. Looking forward for coming back next year.

Awesome breakfast, comfortable living rooms, whole cottage is family based. Owners are great. I would reccomend it calmly and come back again as soon as I visit Italy again.

I can't find words that could describe this perfect accommodation. Breakfast was very good and the woman that owns or looks after the hotel is one of the most friendly and kindest people that I've ever met.

What can I say but just pure beauty from the past. With its dated but amazing timber shutters, mini balconies that over look the street scene and off road parking. A beautiful garden and if you like dogs they have a Irish red setter to great you at reception. If you want to get away from that repetitive hotel style and want a warm greeting from a sweet family then fully recommend. The rooms are clean...

Very nice, and exceptional people working there. They help us a lot, since we got stuck there because our car broke down. A bit pricy..

Environment and rooms are beautiful. The club with live music is excellent. Food was fine, but breakfasts could be much better. There were no vegetables at all. Staff was very friendly. But the wellness is a joke and there was cold everywhere except the restaurant.

Thi hotel is undergoing a renovation: some services like gym, pool or garden are not 100% functional yet. The cuisine is very good, the rooms are large and comfortable. As for other hotels in the area, the best experience is offered in peak holiday season.

Nice hotel, rich breakfast, great dinner-salad, first course (pasta, soup), second course (meat, fish, mix plate) - really tasty. First hour in wellness is free. Elena and Robert are very nic people.

Nice Hotel, right in the Center of town. Nice interior everywhere. Room nice and big, Bathroom as well. Breakfast great selection. Free Underground Parking for Motorbikes!

Hotel Derby is a great spot for a ski vacation for 1 or 2 nights if you just need a roof above your head for the night. It is a bit oldish but price wise great. It is close to the ski lifts. Parking was convenient. The lady at the reception at check in was super friendly :). Staff very kind and helpful. We had a race (Gavia Mortirolo) with return in the late afternoon and they left us the room until the whole afternoon with the possibility of taking a shower on the way back. Optimal. Highly recommended for bikers. The only drawback is that on the fourth floor the fan of the kitchen extractor is heard strong (try to go to the floors below where the problem does not arise...

Great Hotel and wonderful hospitality we've stayed at this lovely family run hotel for many times. The Manager Vera and her staff Always made to feel very welcome and nothings to much trouble. I came here for ski weekend. Great location. Staff was kind and helpful. They speak English, Spanish, and Italian as well.

Stayed a week skiing in a group of 35. This is a lovely family run hotel. Food was fantastic and plentiful. Nothing was too much trouble. 50 metres from the button lift which enables access to all other lifts. If skiing in Aprica this is a perfect place to stay.

Ski area near the hotel. The rooms are clean, just a little small. The hotel has a lift. I do not recommend the dining room in the hotel, the service and food is not good.

Good location and nice views. Bike friendly hotel. Food rates poorly in almost every aspect, particularly the breakfast - choice is pretty limited. The bread is always kinda stale. Bathrooms were okay but the showers had no curtain to prevent water dripping onto the rest of the floor.

Really good value for money. Just what we were looking for: a structure without many unnecessary frills, clean and comfortable. Rooms not very modern but with what you need: tranquility, order and cleanliness. Pleasantly surprised by some important details including the change of sheets every three nights. A typical mountain hotel, you don't have to look for rooms designed by a stylist, but they are functional and welcoming. The staff are nice and try to do everything at their best. Do not forget the very favorable quality - price ratio.

We had a quad room with 5 beds and two TVs, clean. Beautiful alpine-style rooms with wooden walls overlooking the slopes and garden. Bathroom a bit old (with tub) but clean and plenty of towels. Great location, very kind and helpful staff. Good breakfast with homemade cakes and mixed buffet. Ideal for families. I was satisfied.

I stayed with the team last weekend, the hotel is a bit old, but the owners are very kind and available for all requests, without failing to let us taste the famous pizzoccheri of Valtellina even if we hadn't ordered them.

We needed to spend the night in the hotel due to having forgotten the house calls, the staff was immediately available to find us a room (also seen the late hour) it was not obvious, they managed to prepare a room in a very short time , they were super friendly and helpful even providing us with drinks, we had a chat with the owner who like the rest of the staff is super nice and helpful! Unpretentious structure kind and efficient managers very good price not enough cuisine I realized this morning at breakfast that the butter had expired for a month and the rusks had expired for 2 months. For one night this is fine for the price

Bellissima esperienza, staff gentile e sempre disponibile per ogni richiesta. Colazione e cena perfette. Stanza spaziosa e comoda per 4 persone. Animazione per i più piccoli molto piacevole. La vicinanza all'impianto Baradello è comodissima. Per i tappeti di scuola sci per bambini invece sono circa 800 metri.

Excellent cleanliness, familiar atmosphere, courtesy and kindness, a lot of attention especially in the dining room with the watchful eye of the owner who does not miss anything. The hotel on the back overlooks the meadows which in winter are ski slopes, with a direct view of the Orobie park. You can relax on deck chairs and armchairs with large umbrellas with a cool breeze. This was an amazing experience. The hotel is literally few meters away from the ski lifts. From our balcony we had the view to the ski slopes and lifts. You could ski directly from the hotel. The hotel is located also close to the transfer stop which arrives from the train station, probably 7 minutes walk. Nice family hotel. Outside looks modern because it was recently refreshed, interior older but functional. Not quite a trendy or hip place. Nice roof terrace overlooking Palabione and beginner pistes but service there is slow.

It's a nice hotel with friendly owners. I can recoment their dinners because there were always three courses. Rooms were also nice and clean.

I evaluated the structure as excellent because it is very welcoming, super clean and Irene is the PERFECT hostess, also very helpful in preparing breakfast at dawn to allow us to show up at the start of the race full of energy !!! I was also very lucky with the other guests with whom I had a GREAT time. TOP experience !!!

I am used to love this town since I spent summers and winters holidays when I was a little body. Nature and trails are wonderful,the town is ruined by ugly condos built during the last decades.

Nice stay in Villa, room on the second floor was very warm. Old style wooden things in side the rooms. fast wi fi and modern TV (YouTube, Netflix). Breakfast with local foods was simple, and enough for us. free parking near by villa. one of Ski lift just 5 minutes walk, about 300m from villa, another ski lifts about 15 minutes walk, we use a car to reach them.

I spent one night in September. Nice location and good prices. Hearty breakfast and staff available to prepare on the spot. Exceptional cleanliness. I did not like the furniture very much, wooden doors (even the entrance to the room), through the cracks of which you could easily see outside. An excess in the use of wood has also led to hearing many noises from adjacent rooms (for example creaking)...
