We were taking the Bernina Express and needed a place to stay. The clerk at the train station recommended the Hotel Corona. It was a short 5 minute walk to the hotel. The clerk at the hotel was very helpful. He told us about a free 24 hour parking lot by the bus station, which we used. Our train got delayed and we reached after midnight. Staff have asked us to give them a call on a number written on the main door. Once we called, they came to help us in just 5 minutes.Room was nice and clean, amenities were good enough for us to get a good night sleep. This hotel is a great location for the Bernina Express Terminal and booking office. The mainline Tirano station is also handy. The hotel itself appears to have had some of the rooms refurbished. Unfortunately, ours wasn't one of them. Ignore the notes about there being no check-in at this place! It was an ideal place for us to stay, an easy walk from the train, take the public train by the way, it is expensive enough and drives the same route as the Bernina Express. It was clean, but the rooms were super small. Could barely get around the beds to the bathroom. Beds were very uncomfortable. Breakfast was limited. The windows in the room were small and looked onto another wall. I would choose a different place or make sure I got a larger room with a window that at least looked outside.

Very nice hotel with a central location. The room was bigger and much nicer than expected. Very clean and elegant. Plenty of closet space and very spacious bathroom as well. Any the only complaint is that the WiFi only seemed to work in the lobby and the breakfast room. I wasn't the only person in the lobby who had to use the WiFi. We stayed there on our Bernina express trip. The hotel doesn't look to much from the outside but it's well maintained. Everything was clean and fresh. The reception was very friendly and helpful. Comfortable and nice environment with a kind and helpful staff. The hotel is conveniently located next to a couple of nice restaurants and not far from the main points of interest. Fresh and delicate breakfast after a quiet night. I would visit again.

17/6/2018 to go on the red train of bernina we stayed at B&B Il Ciliegio for two nights. Perfect choice !!!!!! we were very happy for the excellent and plentiful breakfast, very clean and well cared for. Thanks to the kind hosts who made our short break perfect.

Convenient location for car journeys, almost central, well signposted. Clean and welcoming structure !!! Almost better than at home, the hosts kindly respond to any request and requirement !! Breakfast is the top! Fresh and organic products, seasonal fruit and freshly baked brioches !!! Great value for money !!! we recommend it and we will be back !!!!!

The Bernina Express 'B&B' was pretty good. The rooms are very modern, the beds were very nice, there were power sockets at the bedside tables, etc. I was especially pleased with the bathroom, it felt fresh and spacey. Also the bed was huge. An unbelievable train journey worth every ‘penny’. Clean quiet trains take you through stunning scenery on a 5 hr return trip that you will never forget. One for the bucket list.

Close to station and in old town. Close to many good restaurants. The best part is however spending time in the bar with our hosts, Claudia and Michael, as well as many locals, drinking the beer which is brewed on the premises. A fun place to stay. Rooms are clean, comfortable and very good value for money.

Very friendly service by the staff who were always on hand to give assistance and advice. From 8am they serve a lovely breakfast. Rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable. Good value, great breakfast and lovely view from the room. 10 to 15 minutes walk from the train station. The family that run the place are friendly and helpful. There is no kettle in the room but you can easily request hot water from the staff. Room is not so soundproofed. Good shower and WiFi. Reception is not 24 hours. Room is clean and well maintained.

A lovely stay in a beautifully renovated hundreds of years old house converted into a hotel. The hospitality was fantastic and the host recommended excellent restaurants in the area. We only wish we had booked more than one night!

A cute secret tip. Owner Andrea is always there and makes your stay special. Interior has classic local charm, modern amenities, it's quiet and the house dog is cute too. breakfast is big enough to count as brunch. Andrea also tells you a bit about the area and the story. It’s not a 5 star hotel, but it doesn’t need to be. It was easy to get to, with super convenient access to the Bernina Express. The host was pleasant and helpful, and we were comfortable. Just be sure to close the windows to keep bugs out!

The room is located in a small building about 50m from Tirano station. The internal parking with assigned parking space is very convenient (the maneuvering spaces are a bit tight and if you had a slightly larger car you could have some difficulties). Passing through Tirano, we decided to have lunch here tempted by the reviews on google and they all turned out to be true! Amazing dishes and very kind staff. Lunch on the suspended terrace overlooking the valley is gorgeous. Highly recommended!

It is a beautiful ancient village and the house is tastefully furnished and being 800 meters high the view is extraordinary

We absolutely loved our stay at Contrada Beltramelli! The setting is stunning, the rooms are beautiful, the food was delicious (dinner and breakfast) and the staff were super friendly. They were very good with my gluten intolerance, and even helped us with a lift back to the station. 100% recommend a stay here!

Awesome place just outside the "center" of Tirano. Maybe 5-6min by taxi. You might feel like you're in the middle of no where but this place is really awesome. Friendliest people, amazing food, and just instantly felt at home. Rooms have character and the whole hotel is very clean, comfortable and a joy to be in.
