Hotel «Ristorante San Carlo»

The hotel has a super attractive view over the lake and is easy to find. Staff was friendly and all very quite due to it being off-season. Breakfast choice was somewhat limited but provided essentials. Dinner was delicious and service very attentive and accomodating. The room was spacious even for four and beds comfortable. All in all a very agreeable stay even though very short and somewhat confined due to bad weather.

The restaurant is great, the chef is always trying with impress with bold recipes, all the dishes we have tried were outstanding. Our waiter, a very attentive 70 years young man, made our experience even more memorable. The view over the lake is unbeatable.

The staff were friendly and the atmosphere felt comfortable. The food was delicious and nicely designed. The view is of course unbeatable.

The rooms are a little dated, but the service and hospitality are amazing.... And you can't beat the views of the lake!

Super good restaurant with a short menu (which is a good thing, as all the dishes are very well curated) and with the highest quality for ingredients. The recipes are mostly based on the Piedmontese tradition, but always with some creative variations. The presentation of every dish is prepared with an obsessive attention to details, such as the combinations of colors, flavors, textures and aromas. I didn't know this restaurant until I found it by chance, but I am very happy of stumbling into it. The personnel is really well prepared and professional, they are all are very knowledgeable about the dishes and the wines on the menu, which they know very well, and at the same time they are absolutely friendly and kind. The restaurant is part of a hotel (which I didn't have the opportunity of trying) and it is located on a terrace looking upon the Lago Maggiore, with a fantastic view from above. It must be said that it is not cheap, but I will definitely come back, thanks!

If you are looking for a restaurant with a view of the Rocca of Angera, this is your best choice. Availability of being able to eat inside or on the veranda (covered in case of rain). Can also request a room, placed on the lower floor, to parties, ceremonies or conferences.
Food very good, staff was friendly and helpful.

Very nice hotel, super-clean, the best quality, the staff and owners polite, prepared, and friendly. The restaurant is very good...from some of the rooms..the sunrise over the lake, wonderful...thank you for the professionalism.

I have dined at San Carlo restaurant to celebrate a friend's birthday, the waiters polite and attentive to varierie needs. Very good food and especially. The whole is crowned by a view of the lake was extremely scenic. We spent a wonderful evening among friends, but I think it is even more suitable for romantic dinners.

Excellent restaurant with a beautiful view of the lake. Very romantic place. Quality food but cards limited in choices. I have attended several times this restaurant and, on the latter occasion, the waiters were not exactly the best of perfection: hasty and careless. Small parking at the side of the restaurant: you have to park frequently in parking wider adjacent, but for a fee.
