Hotel Boston

Staff were friendly. The rest was disappointing. We were in the old part of the hotel. It was clean, but very basic. Essentially a bed, cupboard and a tiny bathroom. Aircon worked well. No tea/coffee making facilities in room, no fridge, no chair, just very basic. Good location, although they are currently building across the road, so can be noisy.

Hotel was infested with bedbugs. The hotel manager was not phased by our discovery. We were simply relocated in another room and told to shower. The next morning, we asked if the room and our luggages would be disinfected and were told it would take too long and be to expensive to do so, that there was a automated laundry service in town that we could use, of course at our expense. Sewage smell was present. The older part of the hotel is bad shape, smell and noise wise. Beds were uncomfortable. The newer part was a bit better however, with the lack of accountability in regards to bedbugs I definitely would not recommend this hotel.

Terrible experience! Me and my boyfriend booked the hotel via booking for three nights. Unfortunately we had a family emergency as the conditions of my grandmother already very sick got worst and I had to leave on Friday because I wanted to see her for the last time. I couldn’t leave before as I was bride of honour for a wedding so I asked if it was possible to change my booking for just one night. Booking contacted the hotel before the checkin to ask for it and the owner refused to give us a refund for the two days we were not going to use the room. A part from the complete absence of humanity on a situation like this, the room was not good at all, mould in the toilet and a double bed made by two single mattresses joint together, the hairdryer doesn’t work properly and if you want camomile you have to pay 3€!!! 15€ for the car park per day. It is basically a robbery for nothing. Do not book this hotel if you do not want to ruin your holiday with this no sense.

Some parts of the hotel have been renovated (e.g. Breakfast room) but the small room I stayed in was quite outdated in style and equipment and needs renovation. It smelled old (slight musty) but was clean.
