It is quiet an old hotel, but it's clean. My room was next to a main road with a rubber road bump. Cars drove with speed over the bump which causes two loud bangs every time and that most of the night.

this is a hotel which is family run, it has been home for me for the past few weeks and shall be for a week or so more. It has a family feel, you walk back in time as if you have entered someone's home. Indeed you have thier home. Enjoy this family run business with charm and history.

Vintage but reasonably good shape classic hotel, very close to the train station and the waterfront, most rooms with a balcony and Lake view, could use some touchups here and there, but enjoyed the stay very much. Just across the street from the lake side walkway.

Hotel Concorde is a four star hotel in Arona,N.Italy. It's in a very quiet place.In front of it is lake Orta.From our 4th floor room we had a very breathtaking view of the lake all around. The hotel waiters were very nice. Those who had some food allergy were given suitable food.

Situated on the Piedmont shore of Lake Maggiore, the Hotel Bel Sit’s lake view rooms and private terrace offer amazing views and a rare sense of stillness. Practical for a step. Next to a large commercial area, modeled on motels in the USA, you can park in front of the room. The price of 70€ is competitive but our room was rather gloomy and dated even though everything was in good condition.

Wellness weekend. Beautiful and comfortable structure. The rooms are clean and have all kinds of amenities, which serves the large and comfortable hydromassage tub. The rooms are a little bit dated but for the price, you can't go wrong. We had a lovely lake-view room and enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel. Close to shops and other places but it would be best to come with a car since you are not walking distance from the center where you can take the boat cruises etc. Would come back for a longer stay in the future.

We stayed 3 nights in the hotel Milano, its quite charming. However not the most luxurious, the AC was a bit noisy and the bed a bit too soft, but for the price I think it's quite good. They have a lovely terrace, they do offer a great selection of wines and the staff is very nice and friendly.

The location is very beautiful, with its own terrace overlooking the lake. The menu is a bit confusing. There are some dishes with lake fish, various proposals with Norwegian salmon, meat and some first courses. We tasted an appetizer with crunchy onion rings and herring, really good. The bad thing was communication, after 5 calls we finally got the personal at the front desk, and talked really fast to allow us letting the keys in the apartment for the check out. The location of the villa is near to the lake and the property boats sprawling gardens where you can spend the afternoons with a Spritz or glass of wine. Villa crespi is absolutely beautiful!  And the staff are wonderful. And the location is a nice walk to town. However I have no idea how they received a gold key last year!  The rooms were so hot I could not sleep (march) and I asked them to turn off the heat!  But that did not work. I also asked them not to continue spraying perfume all over my room because I was allergic… however housekeeping continued...

We had a really nice stay and highly recommend this hotel! The receptionists are super friendly. The hotel rooms are very clean and tidy, with perfect view on the lake. We also really liked the breakfast on the terrace. The breakfast had a great variety, every day different cakes (freshly made) were served. Very nice accomodation. 2 km from Stresa, however you cannot reach it by foot. There is a bus going to Stresa each hour and coming back, so is easy to reach the town. It's a great hotel!! However, if you do not drive it is quite a walk into Stressa. So a taxi is needed it costs roughly 15€. You do get the most amazing views. Breakfast is very simple but you have a wide variety of continental options. No hot breakfast options.

Located in the historic center, it has rather small rooms, although all in all functional. A little inconvenient to reach it because in the pedestrian area and being the cobbled streets it is difficult to tow suitcases. Very convenient for boarding the island from San Giulio.

This is a gorgeous family owned and run business. They’ve been here for 200 hundred years. The food in their restaurant is incredible and it’s right on the lake with an excellent view of Isola S. Guilio. There is also a great spa inside the hotel which is worth going to at least once during your trip.

Great spot for a hotel, probably the best for Lake Orta. Impeccable service, good room (after upgrade since the initial one was terrible). A few glitches: we never learnt to use the electrical switches in the room- too complicated. Only if you are in a junior suite you get a wardrobe and a kettle - standard rooms are a disaster.

It's located on the waterfront of Lago D'Orta, and Isola San Guilio in an eye shot distance. Nice vista on the lake. The property is well maintained and the staff are very helpful. I fee like this area better than Lake Como in which is less touristy and more quiet and better for relaxation

The journey from the airport to hotel was terrible, but the stay at the hotel was very good. At midnight, the hotel owner welcomed us and tells us the most important information. He invited us for a tasty breakfast and the service in the restaurant was nice. The room was very clean and you could relax. The hotel is located in a quiet location.

The receptionist upon our arrival was very welcoming, as was the waitress at lunch and breakfast. The staff were very friendly. Beautiful dining room. Hearty meal. The same goes for breakfast. The only downside was the privacy of the guests in the rooms. The walls must not be thick. We could hear the shutters opening and closing in the neighboring rooms.

We stayed in the apartment next to the hotel. Spacious and modern rooms, in the bathroom and living room a knob was missing from the furniture. Bathroom with very spacious shower and washing machine. We had a great week in a clean new hotel, after general renovation in corona period. We enjoyed an amazing view to the lake from the window, a central , but quiet place, and wonderful breakfasts on the roof of the building. Thanks to the owners of hotel for a homely and fun feeling.

I was one of the first to stay in the Sempione after its remodeling, and it is wonderful. Everything brand new, elegant and comfortable. The view from the terrace is unbelievable, and the managers and staff are delightful -- with a real eye for detail. Would definitely go back... soon!

The attitude of the hotel owners was almost unbelievably good! They we trying hard to advice you where to go, what to see, what tours to buy etc. And their advices were not for profit, they never asked you to mention their names or something - they simply wanted you to enjoy their area.

Hotel is ok for the price. The owner is very friendly. No air conditioning and what we did not enjoy was that each time we went out, the owners came in the room (more than once a day). Otherwise very central to the nice places of Stresa.

Stresa and Lake Maggiore are not to be missed. The Moderno makes a good base. I suggest you ask about the rooms before selecting, as the hotel encompasses several buildings and the rooms vary. The Hotel is a good value for the price, but it is ageing and somewhat dated. We like firm mattresses and our room had the firmest mattress ever!

At centre location, a block from ferry terminal to islands. Many restaurants within a few blocks. Perfect for a short stay. Coffee is good. Bed is firm, excellent hot shower, water pressure good. Hotel has elevator.

I have just returned from a Blake's tour to lake Maggiore.we stayed at this hotel . I could not fault it .The staff were brilliant the meals were great,and the rooms were good(the only reason I gave 4stars was we had no view. It is situated on the lake near the ferry and tourist boats

This hotel is located in a great location, beautiful views of the lake and the staff is outstanding! The trains went on strike the day of our departure and the staff worked for hours to find us alternative transportation. I highly recommend this hotel. We had a great stay there!

I stay in this Hotel every time I go to Stresa. Every 2 - 3yrs. Been going for well over 20yrs. Superb Hotel, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Food is superb (5star) staff/service 5 star. Can’t fault it. I’ll certainly be back soon

Amazing hotel in Stresa on shore of Lake Maggiore. Just cross the road and you are at the lakeside. The hotel is magnificent inside with stained and painted glass covers to the entrance,chandeliers in the lobby are amazing and smaller versions are in the bedrooms. The hotel is a 6 on a scale of 1 to 5. It is exceptional in many ways. There are few luxury hotels like it and with a great location.

I can't give full score since I had one of the small single rooms towards the back. My company was at the front with balcony and lake view and said they were in heaven. Everywhere is beautifully maintained and comfortable though. The reception is very welcoming and friendly. Wifi is good.
