The place is amazing. The view is beautiful, the pool, the garden and room are super clean. Food is great. Even the burger was top level. The room is cleaned and organized twice a day. They offer shuttle to the city (Florence).

We had a great stay at Villa La Massa. The service was exceptional, the breakfast was ample, delicious and a diverse selection. The accommodations are very comfortable, amongst a tranquil setting. It was really great to be 10km out of busy Florence. My only suggestions is the food could be better given the price tag. And it’s be great if the return shuttle would go to 10pm instead of 8pm.

The service of the front desk manager Tamara Trambusti was wonderful. She suggested shopping places and made sure our transfer by train to Venice went smoothly with our large amount of luggage. A local restaurant suggestion was also appreciated. We liked the property so much we spent four nights there instead of our booking for two nights. It’s a wonderful hotel, certainly in our top 5. We love the location. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner is excellent. The pool is spectacular. We wish we could have stayed longer. The room could have been cooler at night but that may be due to the extremely hot weather. We’ll be back!

Great for relaxing and pampering yourself. Available to meet customer needs (we were traveling with a three month old baby). They accept a holiday bonus and the prices are reasonable, especially for the luxuries they offer.

Absolutely loved this hotel, unfortunately i was only able to stay overnight as i was on a business trip. Its a little bit of "gracious" old style, the hotel and grounds were immaculate and the staff knowledgeable and gracious to a non Italian speaking guest. Will be back again if i have my way!

The hosts made us feel we were part of their family. If you like being away from the rush and chaos of a city and don't mind driving (Barbara will show you a place where you can park for free and catch a bus to the center), this is an amazing place. Absolutely stunning location. The accommodation was very comfortable and spacious. The hosts were both warm and welcoming. Breakfast was exceptional! Super nice house with all amenities. The welcome on arrival was warm and welcoming. Everything was explained and arranged with a glass of wine. Despite the fact that the house is in the backyard of the owner, it has a lot of privacy. The bikes that you can borrow here are also fine. We loved everything about our stay in Casignano. Maurizio and Tina were incredible hosts. They picked us up and dropped us up where we needed at no additional cost. Noise echoes a lot in the room so when a guest disrespects the "be silent after 22" rule. Otherwise the place is great. It has an amazing view over Florence and the mountains around. The Hostel itself is like a museum. Maybe a bit bland breakfast tho.

Words can't describe how beautiful the villa is, the service is great. We, two adults two kids, stayed at the suit which has direct access to the pool. The kids love it. Breakfast is good too. Would be better if baby cot can be provided.

I can not say enough good things about this Villa Il Sasso. Unfortunately, we found it by happenstance after my mother fell ill while on vacation. Perfect location for your stay in Florence if you are traveling by driving. Just a 10mins drive to central Florence. This place is comfortable and serve very good breakfast. The host is extremely friendly and invited us to his garden for a walk. He have some chicken that supply eggs for the B&B. They also harvest olives oil for their home use.

Our flight was delayed but this was no problem for Tomasso who waited for us and showed us to our room. The room had beautiful views and a very comfortable bed. We were here many times. Tranquill, peaceful place with atmosphere. Car highly recomended, because it is far away from main road. Owner is a very nice and helpful lady. If you like calm, picturesque places, you will be amazed.
