Photos really don’t do this amazing hotel justice. Linen sheets, gorgeous views, amazing service, this hotel provides car/van service to the heart of Florence, which is just minutes away. If you can’t stay here do yourself a favor and have dinner on the loggia. Get there in time to see the sunset. Make reservations. You won’t be disappointed!

I visited here with my parents. Great rooms and amazing location. Giuseppe from the front desk is particularly helpful and polite, but pretty much the whole staff is nice. Be advised that there is infrequent bus connectivity to the main city, so make plans accordingly. Overall worth a revisit.

We ate there lunch at the end of July. Good food and mild climate: a good excuse to escape the heat of Florence!

I have been in FH for lunch. The price is quite reasonable. I recommend not skipping the antepasto. It is delicious and well served.

We've got a pretty bad room... The aircon is as weak as toddler blowing unenthusiastically on a birthday cake. The good side is that they have a SMALL swimming pool to cool off in this Lucifer heat wave, but the room is somewhat crappy. Haven't tried the restaurant yet, which is supposed to be the redeeming feature, we will see. If it is I'll change my 3 star review to 4.

It’s a bit away from city centre but very nice rooms with kitchen. There is a nice outdoor swimming pool and the heating system will be installed soon. Good public transportation to Florence. The hotel is small but beautiful, the service staff is warm and thoughtful, the room is very large, with a living room and bedroom, and the breakfast food is cold, which may not be suitable for Chinese stomachs. One of the main highlights of our honeymoon, and by far the most beautiful hotel we've ever stayed at. The villa is stunning, beautifully decorated, as are the rooms. The wifi is nonexistent in the rooms. If you want to use up all your data, by all means stay here. The only place with working wifi is the teeny tiny front desk area with no seating or anything. It's a little and nice hotel with apparently not so many, but clean rooms. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast very good, and actually we wanted to like the hotel. But unfortunately at least the back house is poorly soundproofed. The hotel is fairly well located about 15 minutes walk from the center of Florence. I stayed in April and it was incredibly warm, but the air conditioning wasn't turned on so I had to leave the window open which meant very noisy nights.

Our shower leaked, we couldn’t get the night shade to work and there was no staff at night to assist, tv didn’t work. Overall a good experience...

Very nice stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A/C doesn't seem to work the best but consistent for Italy. Staff were vet accommodating.

The hotel is not far from Florence dome. The room is quite small but nice. The only drawback are the slim walls so you can hear people talking in the other rooms

Very nice stay. It's located just outside the center of Florence (walking distance). You can tell this place is run by passionate people. Each morning start off​ with fresh juice and the staff is very friendly. I can warmly recommend staying at relais modern ?

This is a great hotel with everything you need for a great price. It's located just a couple blocks north of everything and closer than it looks on a map. Clean and a great breakfast to boot.

We were here for the MotoGP, while the tour was fantastic the hotel left a lot to be desired. The staff is very friendly but English is limited. The air conditioner barely works (at nigh only, they did not have ac during the day, weird!) The breakfast is blah (in fact...lots of left over from one day to next), their coffee machine is great though. The bathroom tile could use a good bleach scrub and...

I don't see this as a 4 star hotel. The room we stayed in is very basic. There's a little kitchenette inside but no cutleries or cooking utensils were included. The shower stall is small and a little worn down. Overall, it gave us a comfortable place to sleep, and we really appreciate the complimentary breakfast.

The rooms are more spacious than the other hotels we've visited but it's very simple and not really big on decor. The alleyway on the side of the hotel can get loud but it dies down around 11:00pm. The breakfast was okay. It is easy to access other restaurants and the bus from the hotel. The shower is rather small, but the bathroom was decent.

Pros: Kind and professional staff members. Large apartment. Quite area (not on a major street) for proper sleep. Nice statues on ground level.. Cons: Shower took 10-15 min. to heat up on the 3rd floor. Because the shower was so small, I received 1st degree burns on 2 occasions when I could not manuvur out of the path of the high temperature water. Stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the stay. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Set in a lovely courtyard. Excellent terrace on the floor of the newer building open for guests. Parking on site €15 a day. Room comfortable but slightly dated. Plumbing not quite up to scratch, terrible smell coming from the shower drain at times. very comfortable room, SUPER kind and helpful staff!! the hotel was well located - a bit of a (very charming) walk from the center (~10 min) but the room was quiet at night! We brought our medium sized dog along and she was so welcomed and happy throughout our stay. 10/10 recommend!

Stayed for a couple of nights. The hotel is very homey. The Room is very large and comfortable the shower room is huge and super. Basiclly a great modern place for a stay in firentze!

Very comfy and cozy, and the host is gentle and welcoming. Despite it's a bit far from SMN station and attractions, you don't need to hesitate to choose this hotel when you visit Firenze.

When I arrived at the hotel I was informed that I would be transferred to another facility because the boiler was broken. It would have been ideal to know this in advance, since I needed to stay in that specific area of ​​the city for work reasons. I also asked if it was possible to have a transfer service to overcome the inconvenience and was denied.

Lovely hotel with very nice and helpful staff. The rooms were cleaned every day. Public transport availble. There are only 2 stops to get to the centre. I highly recommend it. We will be back. Thanks alot

The villa is beautiful, it is an historic building with beautiful paintings and period features. Comfortable bed. Could improve a bit the cleanliness of the rooms, but everything else was very good. The rooms were spacious with high ceilings. The breakfast was good and had reasonable choice. The location is also good, within walking distance of every attraction in Florence.

This place was great! My family traveled here from the States and went all over Europe and this place was in our top five favorite places to stay at! The staff was wonderful, the rooms were nice and clean, the drinks were decent, the breakfast food was exquisite, the bathrooms were clean, the beds were comfy, and the atmosphere was truly wonderful! I cannot believe how amazing this hotel is for the price. The room is absolutely beautiful with an amazing ceiling and balcony with a lovely view. It’s very clean as well and the ac is very good. Service is great with fast response online and on-site parking. I definitely recommend this hotel and we will certainly be back!

Wonderful hotel in Florence. Beautiful and very large historic villa modernized (for amenities only - the classic Italian charm is still everywhere). It is located in a quiet area to the east of the center of Florence.
