Hotel Kriss Internazionale in Bardolino

Delightful hotel with happy staff who go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. Spacious wheelchair accessible room, mobility equipment hired locally. Bardolino promenade very accessible and ferries were easy to board. Overall Hotel Kriss provided a wonderful base for exploring Lake Garda.

Just back from a great holiday with Jet2 at Hotel Kriss in Bardolino. The hotel was in a superb location, was friendly, clean and great value for money. All the staff were extremely helpful - nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend.

Well positioned hotel with it's own "beach" area where an excellent light lunch can be served. All the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was excellent, pity the restaurant wasn't open in the evenings, though very handy for a great selection of restaurants and bars in Bardolino centre, 5-10 minutes walk away.

On arrival we were greeted with a glass of prosecco each while our bags were taken to our room. Our room was spotlessly clean, lovely bathroom, comfy bed but unfortunately there was no safe in the room. Breakfast could be taken outside or inside and there was a good range of cold buffet food available and an egg station where your choice of eggs were freshly cooked. Nice lounge to sit in with a bar in the corner. The location of the hotel was superb being on the front of the promenade facing the lake with a five-minute walk along the lake front to the town centre. We found all the staff very helpful and friendly and spoke good English.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay here. Hotel is lovely, clean, great location looking over the lake. Breakfast really nice and having it on the pretty terrace with the view of the lake is gorgeous. All staff in hotel were fabulous, all smiles and nothing too much trouble. Restaurants and bars nearby with plenty of choice and high standard. Highly recommend this hotel. Nora and Eddie

Just had a lovely 11 night stay at Hotel Kriss. Having never been to the Italian Lakes before, it was a delight to stay here. While it is a beautiful location, right on the lakeside, with its own ‘beach’ area, lovely rooms and great breakfast, the best thing about Hotel Kriss is the staff. Everyone is so happy and helpful without being too ‘in your face’, and we felt very looked after throughout our stay. Would recommend without hesitation for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the lower lake area.

Fantastic 5 nights at Hotel Kriss. Great location. So close to everything. Beautiful views of the lake and easy access to it. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and great service and so easy to get on with. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel was very clean with a great vibe. Would happily stay there again.

We chose to stay in this hotel as a result of previous good reviews and we were not disappointed. Reviews have been very complementary and I can only add mine to those. The hotel boasts unrestricted views of Lake Garda and is a short walk along the lakeside to the centre of Bardolino and the ferry stop. It is in a street that is not a through road and it is closed overnight so you do not get the roar of motorcycles, scooters and boy racers to disturb your sleep. I doubt if there is any hotel in Bardolino better located, it is perfectly placed. Expectations were high but we were not let down, from the minute we arrived we were greeted and treated in a most friendly way. We had booked through Jet2 holidays and were offered and shown an upgrade available for €30 per night. We accepted the superior room with a balcony and beautiful lake view. The hotel is immaculately clean and well-maintained throughout. Our room was spacious and had sufficient hanging space for our clothing for our week’s stay. There was a safe for valuables and security was a feature with card passes required on linking doors within the hotel. Wifi was good, TV channels were plentiful but would benefit from a BBC channel. The service and staff were outstanding, attentive and professional. Most spoke very good English. Breakfast was very full with a chef to cook up fresh eggs and omelettes. The self serve counters were filled with everything you could possibly ask for - diverse and delicious options. The hotel does not serve evening meals but Bardolino is packed full of so many restaurants you could not run out of choice. The hotel bar is operated until late. Bardolino and this hotel in particular is one that I will definitely recommend without any reservation to friends who are contemplating visiting the area. Very relaxing and flawless from start to finish.

Exceptionally warm and friendly welcome. Our bags were taken to our room whilst we sipped a complimentary glass of Prosecco. This standard was maintained throughout our entire stay. Clean and tidy room with a huge bed and a lake view, which was serviced daily. There was a beach bag in our room with a beach towel each to use during our stay, and new complimentary flip flops. The restaurant and bar is excellent, with a good selection of well cooked meals and snacks. Breakfast has a good selection of hot and cold food and drinks and staff on hand for anything you need. Just outside of the main town (5min stroll), the hotel is quiet and peaceful. We woke one morning to find a full market on our doorstep and never heard a thing until we went for a wander around. We felt right at home from the minute we arrived to the minute we left, and will definitely be going back…
