Reviews
Location is really great- railway station, old town, shopping area and of course many cafes and restaurants are really close.
I felt safe in this district so if you don’t want to overpay then I definitely recommend this residence.
Just one cons- you have to sleep with closed windows otherwise it’s nosy but I guess it’s the same in any place in Italy.
Host was very helpful and offered suggestions on dining options
Cons: they don’t have 24h reception so if you plan to come later, you might have a problem (reception is from 08:30-21:00). They didn’t have a coffee machine in the room and most italian hotels I’ve stayed in that are similar price category have at least a capsule option. So a huge con for me personally.
There are two buildings, so you might not stay at the main one.
The bathroom is dated, yet clean, but there was only like half a roll of toilet paper so some might argue it’s absolutely not enough. A second one was not provided in the bathroom in case you need it. I can’t imagine people nowadays would take a roll with them to go so another one in the room would have been great.
Biggest con: the single room is otherwise nicely decorated (even a beautiful painting above the bed) but there is just a tiny window and the room is therefore very dark. There weren’t enough light sources (the plug of the standing lamp wouldn’t plug in). The window overlooks a narrow internal cloister and it’s very loud cause there is a ventilation line running right next to the window.
Summary: because of all the cons I really don’t see any logic of booking a stay here, for the same price I’ve booked much nicer places in the historic center. Cannot speak of the bigger rooms, though, they probably have bigger windows.
The hotel itself is in a fantastic location, truly just a stone’s throw away from everything! It’s incredibly easy to walk to the old town, the seaside, and a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants. Whether you’re looking for casual spots or high-end dining, everything is close by, making it a perfect base for exploring the city.
The apartment was delightful—everything was well-organized and impeccably maintained. I loved the small kitchen cleverly hidden in the closet, and the bathroom’s soft green colore created a relaxing vibe. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby both nights.
I want to extend my deepest thanks to Victoria, Massimiliano and the team. Their dedication, passion, and pride in their work truly shone through. It’s obvious they aren’t just proud of being locals; they genuinely love what they do, and their service went above and beyond my expectations.
I can’t wait to go back!
