Good location ! Everything is close by and easy to walk too including the best part - old town - the roof top pool was an added welcome because of the heat - we used both upon arrival and the following day ! I would give this hotel 4*. Positives: great location, amazing views and very friendly staff. Negatives: it's just not 5* - breakfasts are primarily sweet, not much of a choice of savory food and vegetables; the pool area has great views but it's small. I'm not sure if it's really worth the price.

Absolutely amazing stay. Our room with a little balcony had a wonderful view of the sea. Most importantly, the staff were all very friendly, professional, and accommodating. We felt relaxed and thought this was a great home base for exploring the city and nearby towns, beaches, and nature. Would absolutely stay here again.

Very nice hotel. We didn’t get to enjoy all the facilities due to schedule issues, but all and all, in the time we had, we loved the room decor and the city view. I should mention that our room was half a floor above the elevator floor, so that could be an issue sometimes.

The hotel was very welcoming and staff were attentive. The room was large and it had a lovely view. Breakfasts were varied with a good selection of hot and cold as well as sweet and savoury dishes.

We have chosen this hotel due to early flight in the morning as many other travelers. Quality of the services was good, even for a such a short stay. Transfer to the airport is included in the price. Stayed for 5 nights here to discover pulgia(by public transport). It is a bit hard to get from the centre to the hotel but the hotel offers free cycles. Furthermore, hotel is very well equipped with all amenities. Modern setting and also caters to tourists. Room was good with balcony. Professional staff.

This is a short distance from main road, Emmanuel and seems to keep quite extended hours. Certainly biggest super market I have found in the area. A purpose built and spacious hotel alongside a highway. Efficient and friendly staff: the gentleman on reception was particularly helpful with advice of what to do in the area.. The hotel is located directly on the highway. Has enough parking spaces so that you don't have to make a reservation. The rooms are a bit dated and I personally don't like the tiles in the room at all.... The view in the restaurant is very nice and makes the morning very pleasant. Super nice and comfortable room. The only inconvenience we had was that the location is bad unless you have a car. BUT, they offer free shuttle service to and from torre a mare station, and the trains are well functioning around the puglia area, so definitely use this service if you don’t plan on renting a car. The food is expensive for what you get, so we prefered to eat out in the city.

Hotel BARION is a clean hotel with an excellent breakfast offering local dishes and a big variety of food and drinks. This hotel is an excellent base for exploring the surroundings of Bari and Puglia. A delicious breakfast on the upper floor offers a wonderful view of the sea. I appreciate the possibility of parking. I also praise the service and the staff. We rate our family stay for two nights as excellent.

More of a functional hotel than romantic or luxurious one but don't mistake this as reassembling a chain hotel in any way. It is simple, clean and, while there are few luxury amenities, the staff is more than welcoming and eager to help in any way they can. It's price combined with central location makes this a simple no-frills choice.

Very relaxing stay. Umbrellas were very generously spaced with some positions available on the rocks near the sea. Water is clean, although not as blue as in other parts of the coast south of Bari

Pool is super far from the rooms, opens with a ridiculous schedule, doesn't really have a beach as it looks like in the photos and has nothing nearby. If you want to be only surrounded by locals it might be a thing for you.

Many many stars. You really feel noble after dinning here. The way food looks and the atmoshere gives you the star in a movie feeling and the taste is also royal.

Rooms should be refreshed. We also expected to sleep in the beautiful old building but our room was in the garden in a more recent building. We were a little disappointed about that point. We also expected bar and swimming pool to be open. We find also the location to far from the center of bari to our point of view. The bathroom was mouldy. The breakfast was really good and the service perfect.
