David! The host David is amazing! We arrived very late, but he stood there and welcomingly awaited us. Once arrived he gave us so much information about every possible thing that we could want to do on the whole of Sicily. He even sent us PDF files with parking places and everything. The stay was comfortable and well located close to Etna, for next day exploring.

We had just a one night stop over before going to Etna the next day and it was a delightful one! We ended up having a meal with David talking of our travels, which was very welcomed and lovely. He gave us many tips for our future travels too. The joys of travelling!

We had a great time in this accommodation, David is perfect, always smile on his face, gave as useful advices what to see around Catania and Sicily, helped in every situation. Friendly customer service. We arrived very late at night and was not a problem at all, unexpectedly we were welcomed with a taste of local shots. Warm room and comfortable bed.

Fattoria dei Nonni is a real paradise ! We have stayed there for 4 nights. The place is so beautiful, charming and authentic. Lady who owns the property knows eveyrthing. She can help you with your trips or even if you need some stuff to cook. She was really helpful cuz she helped us to get a ride from catania center to pedara. The place is really pleasant bit dated but nothing wrong with that. Really reccomend.

In the pictures, the rooms are somehow brighter, more spacious, newer. Otherwise normal, the place is clear. The car park is open, across the street, but protected from traffic. There is a shared bathroom upstairs. Breakfast is Italian, Hungarian may not have enough, but it's okay. Quiet place anyway. Within walking distance you will find shops and restaurants nearby. The room is cleaned on request...

It's a B&B managed by associazione amici del parco dell'Etna it's a comfortable solution next to the Etna. Room are new with toilette inside with Sicilian picture inside (carretto siciliano).

Nice host and cosy place. Good stay if you are by car and plan to climb at Etna.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Simone was one of the few Sicilians that spoke English quite good. When we left they even washed the Sahara sand of our car. Breakfast was simple but more than enough and there was a microwave and a coffeemaker we could use at any time. The room was spacious and very clean. There was a little fridge which was nice to keep our drinks cool.

Structure with enormous potential. Breakfast quality definitely needs improvement. Terrace with a wonderful view but not very well cared for. Each room can take advantage of an outdoor space but with 0 privacy. The owners should be more present.

Lactose-free breakfast! 😍 The place is very clean and above all it has a magnificent terrace where you can admire the fascinating Etna and the majestic sea, a few km from the center and located in a strategic point where you can easily reach other destinations. One of the most beautiful B & Bs. The kindness of the lady who replied to me but who unfortunately did not get to know because when we arrived we met their daughters who were also very kind and helpful. The rooms and the cleaning very satisfactory, in the room there is everything, nothing is missing. Good breakfast. What can I say we did only one, but it was enough for the 5 stars.

A beautiful B&B, very nice and clean. Also the host Laura is a very nice person and makes a delicious breakfast. It fells like home. The location is really nice and quiet and halfway to the mountain and to the sea. Would recommend 10/10.

B&B surrounded by greenery, for lovers of tranquility, you can spend moments of pure relaxation. Rooms with attention to detail, welcoming, clean, with a very suggestive garden view. The hostess, Laura, a special person attentive to guests' needs, friendly and very helpful; prepares super genuine breakfasts and an excellent cappuccino. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We only stayed one night in this b & b but would gladly return. The property, Mrs. Laura is kind and immediately puts you at ease. The rooms are clean and spacious and have everything you need. Outside there is a lovely garden with tables, always well maintained and with great attention to detail. Average price. I highly recommend it.

Comfortable, bright, sunny, familiar, welcoming .. both the structure and the sweet lady Laura, the perfect hostess who surrounds her guests with care and attention. I recommend this B&B to those who want a strategic position both to reach tourist destinations and to reach the famous health centers (such as Pedara). I stayed for a few days with my husband and a couple of friends staying at this b & b, the rooms were spacious clean and comfortable, felt like home. Breakfast plentiful and varied. Mrs Laura always attentive to our needs, and with her very nice husband they were able to advise us on excursions and restaurants. Definitely to recommend. We will return, I hope soon.

I booked 17 rooms to host my wedding guests. All I got was great feedback: spotless rooms, yummy breakfast! I thank the staff and the director Ventura for the courtesy and attention they have given to us and our guests.

Excellent tranquility. Real Italian garden. Absolutely fabulous and friendly host family. Even with the language barrier they were beyond accommodating. Even though breakfast was not available during our stay upon request coffee and tea weee provided. Beautiful views.

We have adorable time. No Rush for check in and check out. Expecting the last one day( the host had a family Revival) the all staying was very quiet. Host very kind, and available. Just a little igienic unconvinient, too much Miskitos and nothing as repellent provide, the materass was not double but two singles attached. For sure I woul suggest and come back ti this place .

We have found an oasis of peace with all the necessary services. In addition, the apartment is comfortable and very clean and is in an excellent position to be able to move to the tourist sites. The owners are kind and helpful.

A place to stay with the comfort of home

Very welcoming. Very polite hosts, ideal for families as they are quite large. Very fresh with all the greenery around. We slept very well on the bed I would give them at least a very clean.

Beautiful structure and top hospitality, Maurizio is a fantastic person who does not make you miss anything and is always available. The breakfast is made up of local products and always plentiful! The location is convenient near the center of Catania and one minute from the motorway and state road. Highly recommended!

B and B family run, really helpful and kind, especially Mr. Filippo and his daughters. Too bad he has only one room without barriers for the disabled, better to book in time to have it. Convenient to reach the Humanitas Clinic in 8/10 minutes.

It was quite, beautify and super clean. The host were amazing, caring and super attentive to detail and always willing to help. I would definitely recommend it.

We found this nice place during a walk around monte sona. Very nice hidden. they have very good wine! friendly people. You can just bring your food with you for BBQ en have a nice afternoon with friends/family. Nice clamping tent as well. We couldn't stay longer, but the place really looks nice. Also nice place to stay en visit the Etna.

Fantastic spot for a picnic. We always have a blast exploring the forest and relaxing in the shade during the hottest summer days. We'll keep coming back!

My partner and I have spent a couple of days at Rifugio. The hosts are fantastic, the location is awesome and the nature surrounding this area absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommended

Amazing place in the middle of the nature on the way to Etna. Petri and Patrizia are managing the facility very well, they are kind and very helpful. Great outdoor place for barbecue, bar inside, beds are very comfortable and clean. I recommend the place for enjoying relaxing time and for having a nice walk/hike on trails on the way to Etna.

We celebrated our daughters birthday at Rifugio Manfré, and we simply couldn't have chosen a more suitable venue in August! The temperatures were splendid, the ambient wonderfully quite, private and in the middle of Etna's wild nature. The Barbecue Area very spacious, perfect for a BBQ for a huge crowd. Patrizia and Petri our Hosts were very welcoming and forthcoming. We would definitely recommend...
