Hotel Vittoria in Brescia

Location and outside ambiente shows some charme from old times. Rooms are…. outdated (friendly said) Old metal bed in a non inviting „cold“ appearing high room. It was dirty, cabinets are from 70‘s and partially broken. In the bathroom it smeels wet/like mold and the air cycling fan has not seen a cleaning for decates. The service depends of whom you talk to. The breakfast area guys are fabolous!! 5 stars if I could rate separatelly. Checkin/front desk is vice versa. You feels like a disturbing something that stop them from doing…what? No clear information. No able to give you a propper house introduction or follow requests.
When you use the large nice stairs into first floor, be carefull, as they are full of broken glas from parts falling if the lights on the walls. And no one feels responsible to clean it up. Upstairs, a walkway reminding if old hospitals invites you to start wonding of the clocks ha ging on the wall - as every single shows different times (but non of them the correct one😂)
Overall, in off season to pay 130+ as a singleton is seriously not acceptable. sorry, but they should use the money for restauration soon

Location is great, and the building itself is gorgeous, however, it was far from a 5-star experience. Room outdated and dark, amenities limited and not of a good quality, aircon noisy, view of the inner courtyard (I stayed at a Superior room). In the lobby they played loud music (and occasionally rock music, which felt weird). Bar/restaurant service inattentive. Wi-Fi very unstable. Basically, this hotel works fine if you need a place to sleep, but it doesn't offer any luxurious touches that would make you want to spend more time inside. Very pity because the building has potential. But the price is fair for the offer.

The main problem with the hotel is that it is too old. The air outlet is very dirty. The air conditioner is not turned on in winter. The wind made me dizzy and allergic. I had to get up in the middle of the night to open the window to get better. The water flow in the shower room is very slow and will overflow. It is impossible to take a shower and wash your hair at the same time. There is only a fixed large shower. The worst stay in my life! I couldn't sleep all night. You must choose a new hotel. This hotel has a good location but the room facilities are too old.
