Just spent a week here. Accomodation was basic but spotlessly clean. Lovely pool area, with lots of young people having a great time. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Staff were great. The staff at Villaggio Alkantara could not have been better. Everyone was so helpful. Good access to local buses for trips to Catania,Taormina and for airport transfers (booked in advance online, 'Etna' transport). We used it as a hiking base with a private group minibus facilitated.
Clean, comfortable. Room with balcony and views but air conditing exhaust noise from adjacent hotel driving us crazy - no action, must be a known issue with this room but reception hides behind lack oof english language and ignoring tour guide. Sad business, otherwise impressed.

Good location as it was super close to Taormina but also easy to go to other parts of Sicily nearby. I was a bit disappointed by the service as I kept getting forgotten when I had a problem or needed to request something. We were a group of 15 people for 6 nights with half board. The 8 rooms were locked at all times, they were methodically searched in the morning, bags, suitcases, clothes... and in total THEFT OF APPROXIMATELY €500 in 3 rooms, who other than the staff the keys? the bosses? Hotel with great attention to detail, cleanliness and excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff, excellent location close to the beaches and the centre. To go to the center of Taormina just take the bus and you can get there in 15 minutes. I highly recommend. We will return as soon as possible

I stayed in this hotel with my wife for just two days. The hotel is located near the archaeological park of Naxos, in a nice location, at the end of Giardini Naxos. It has parking, which was important to me as I arrived by motorbike. From the room assigned to us we could enjoy a splendid sea view. I was in this wonderful location to celebrate the wedding anniversary, I found cordiality and professionalism from all the staff including the owner a wonderful person. The dinner was 5 stars and even more, well presented and well cooked dishes, a vein based on fresh fish I highly recommend it, who is in Giardino and surrounding areas a must.

Overall, it’s a quite pleasant hotel. The cleaning staff is awesome, and I really appreciate the service of one specific waitress who was serving us throughout our vacation. Nice pool! The only inconvenience I found was the shower in our room which was simply unbearable to deal with all the time.

From start to finish the hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is great with the ability to walk into town or nearby beaches, whilst also being very peaceful. The staff were fantastic and so hospitable and friendly. The location of this hotel is perfect! Direct access to the sea, and walking distanse to the center of Giardini Naxos. The staff, especially in the restaurant, are very smiling an service-minded 🙂.
