Wonderful situation near end of main drag making it both calm and convenient. A lot of old world charm but up to date as you need it to be. Charming personnel and most charming gardens and pool where you could easily while away an afternoon.

Beautiful hotel. I had a room with an amazing view. The room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the sea. Nothing to complain about. I was with a group and they forgot to give me my main course at dinner… and they had to make it later so I ate after everyone else. They were nice enough about it… but maybe a free drink would have been good :)

There is no doubt about it this hotel was fantastic! From the spectacular views of the hillsides and coast, the beautifully decorated rooms and interiors, the delicious food and drinks and the heart of it all… the staff! We stayed at the Splendid hotel for 7 nights and couldn't have been more pleased! From their front desk staff, to their pool bar, rooms and excursions planner Allesandria, we enjoyed every minute! Our family of 18 arrived and the staff could not have been more accommodating even ending our stay with a Sicilian BBQ and live music! We travel often and would give this hotel 10 stars if we could!

It was really a great experience to stay at Hotel Villa Sonia. Spacy rooms with a awesome view to the old lady, Etna. Wonderful breakfast, and buses just outside the door witch drives to the center of Taormina in less than 25 minutes. Not the last time, me and my wife will stay at Villa Sonia. Excellent!

Amazing!!!! While the property is certainly magnificent, what differentiates this hotel from many other luxury resorts is the level of service which is off the charts. We have traveled the world and stayed at many call the "best"... the staff at the Taormina Four Seasons exceeded all expectations. This is truly a beautiful hotel. Scenic, serene, and lively at the same time. Every meal was delicious and the service is unmatched. Corso Umberto where shops and restaurants are is just a 3 minute walk. Highly recommended.

Superb stay in Taormina. Very comfortable accomodation with a stunning garden and pool overlooking the sea. Stayed for six nights so we were really settled and enjoyed a truly relaxing stay that was attentive yet private. Great restaurants and in particular breakfast. My stay at this hotel was like no other! I stayed here for 3 weeks and never felt so much like home. The hotel staff are incredible itself, super nice and hospitality is amazing. OMG. Best stay ever. Breathtaking views From our balcony, we could see Mt Etna and amazing views of the bay with mega yachts and cruise ships. We were lucky to get upgraded. Really enjoyed the balcony. Well isolated window front toward the street, although the walls were thin and the apartment noisy. The room we had also lacked a little space for unpacking the luggage as well as storage in the bathroom. It's located at the Catania Gate of Taormina, so there's some walking distance to the main plaza and the Greek theater, but it doesn't really matter to me as Taormina is tiny and cute. Probably the most amazing hotel experience of my life. The room was exactly as the one of the pictures. Blankets and towels of high quality. Prices are medium/high for my personal standard but in the average of taormina. Strongly suggested.
