A great Hotel in my opinion. We were here for a total of four nights and really enjoyed our time! The location is really good, close to major sights like the Etna or Taormina, but it’s also close to the see, the highway as well as other towns around in case you would wanna go to a supermarket. There is also a really nice restaurant that offers a small, but high quality menu for very reasonable prices...
They have a lovely swimming pool and relaxing area. It is located in a quiet farm with lemon and citrus trees. You also have als view from certain rooms to the Etna Volcano. Helicopter flights available.
The place is nice and the prices is good. The staff was very nice and the food was good. I would stay here again. The rooms were very basic, but were clean and have everything you need. The property is nice to walk and the farm employees were very welcoming.
Highly recommended thia accommodation as long as you have a car

Just spent a week here. Accomodation was basic but spotlessly clean. Lovely pool area, with lots of young people having a great time. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Staff were great. The staff at Villaggio Alkantara could not have been better. Everyone was so helpful. Antonella and Linda in the bar were so friendly and Irene and the rest of the cleaning team couldn't do enough for us. Luca at reception also deserves a shout out for being great. Good access to local buses for trips to Catania,Taormina and for airport transfers (booked in advance online, 'Etna' transport). We used it as a hiking base with a private group minibus facilitated.
Clean, comfortable. Room with balcony and views but air conditing exhaust noise from adjacent hotel driving us crazy - no action, must be a known issue with this room but reception hides behind lack oof english language and ignoring tour guide. Sad business, otherwise impressed.

Very nice place to stay. Spotless clean rooms and cold air conditioning. Fantastic breakfast and friendly staff. The only chomplaint is the 3 flights of stairs to get to room 105 and the lack of air conditioning in the breakfast area. It was very hot. Very close to the beach I give it a 9/10.
A perfect location and good service from the hosts. When asking questions, they always did their best to help out. Cleaning rooms, and a breakfast that any kid would die for. Short distanse to the beach and we got discount on beds at the beach from Ines.

Lovely hotel nice size room next to the beach
Hotel was clean and located opposite the lido, this cost €10 for a day. The hotel pool was indoors and cost €5 for the day. So if beach and sun are your main thing budget for the expense
Good breakfast and generally helpful staff.
Although we were directed wrongly to the bus stop several times giving us a long walk when there was one just along from the hotel.
There was a great view from our balcony...

Rooms seem recently renovated. Nice surfaces. VERY clean. Large bathroom. Love the balcony views. Close to the water if you are interested. Great location to drive into/out of Taormina and Mtn Etna. Asked the front desk to chill a special bottle of wine and the graciously did so. Would return!

I was a little bit scared by the Google reviews, which were ranging frok very bad to very good. My experience was very positive: Rooms were clean (even slightly before check-in time), breakfast was good, SPA was great (we experienced massage, pedicure, sauna, pool, etc.), and location was excellent. Noise in the room was not an issue.
The only remark I have is that for breakfast...
Stayed for a week with 3 friends. Our rooms were lovely and clean and we were supplied with clean towels everyday. The reception desk always very helpful. I needed a Dr and was promptly recommended to many in the Taormina area.

Overall okay, the service and facilities were okay, the breakfast was good. But the cleaning was not okay and the cleaning lady left the door unlocked on several occasions. Which was very
unpleasant when you have all your luggage there.
Overall, the experience is OK, it is more suitable for vacation, the price/performance ratio is good, it is close to the beach, it is very convenient to go to the beach, but the facilities are old, especially the elevator, and there are not many types of breakfast
