Not bad for the price. Free car parking although we ended up a few minutes walk away in some swimming pool car park that they give u a pass for. Had 4 person room. Room was spacious and like photos. There was slight noise from the bar outside as we were at front of hotel on second floor...however if u close the windows it's fine. Went half board. Service and staff r good. Food quality did get mixed reviews to be fair. It was ok. Breakfast was good but i would get there early as when we went later it seemed some food had sat there since the start of the service. Dinner was a bit more hit and miss. You get a lot of food some of it was good..some not so great. Wellllness centre not included. Was 10 euro each. Think hotel was worth the money and overall had a good stay.

I have just returned after spending a week here with a group of friends. The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere every time you enter and the staff were all helpful and very friendly. The rooms are comfortable and ours in the annex had a balcony with amazing views. It was a little warm at times but easily resolved by opening the window. We did experience some noise from a bin lorry at 4am but do not feel this was anything the hotel could control. I noted other reviews about noise from the bar next to the hotel and whilst we did experience this on occasion, it was short lived and did not deter from the overall excellent experience of staying in such a central location. The food choices were plentiful and restaurant staff were extremely accommodating of a rather fussy member of our group. Again, I was concerned given some previous reviews but the variety of options every day was excellent for all tastes and diets. The decor is a little dated but it was clean and just created a charming homely feel. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return.

Just back from a ski holiday here with Crystal. The hotel lived up to our initial expectations from the grand exterior, the interesting and grand public rooms and our bedrooms. We paid extra for a double prestige room as I wanted a fancy one like the publicity pictures and got one. We didn’t mind a bit of noise from the bar downstairs. We were a party of 10 friends and everyone was very happy with the room they got, single, triple or double. The hotel seated us together for meals and coped with 6 separate room bar bills! There was more than enough food on offer even to satisfy our hungry vegetarian. The menu reflected the region, which was good for us omnivores and why we love holidaying in Italy. A vegetarian sometimes needs to actually ask for a dish to be adapted to suit them but this was always achieved. There are 3 bars available in the hotel. When our favourite in the grand lounge was taken over by live entertainment a few times there was a quiet one in alpine style downstairs. One person in our party used the spa, enjoyed it and said it was very good value. The rest of us were too busy skiing and drinking. The heated ski room is at the back of the hotel. We all used it but I also kept my skis at the hire shop and used the short cut by the river to pick them up on the way to the cable car. Felt compelled to write a review having read others that were so negative. Stayed here with friends for a skiing holiday booked via Ingham's. Yes, some parts of the hotel are dated but it really is beautiful. We had a room in the annex building and the view from our balcony was stunning. The room was dated but perfect for our visit, we spent our days on the mountain. The beds were comfy and the rooms were cleaned and cared for by the staff incredibly well. The room was quite warm so we did need to have the window open at times. There was also a nightly visit from the bin lorry which was noisy but not sure that the hotel could control this. The food was excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful, particularly when one member of our party struggled with the menu choices due to her particular requirements. The hotel is in the centre of Canezei and just a short walk from the gondola. It was very reasonably priced and I would love to return.

The only redeeming feature of this hotel is the proximity to the ski lift and the lovely staff. Our bedroom is so tiny and the heating unpredictable. When sleeping with the window open, expect a lot of noise from the club in the cellar with drunk people shouting at each other. The food is very bland, vegetables overcooked and not very well presented. The wellness section leaves a lot to be desired, people went straight in the bubble spa without even having a shower first. There is missing the small touches such as water to drink and shower gel. There is a sign asking people to be quiet but that was totally ignored, which actually made the experience a bit stressful instead of the desired effect, wellness and time to recuperate after a day on the slopes. Our room wasn’t cleaned very well, with the marks from my drinks still being there after three days, expected a bit more from a 4 star hotel. I know it sounds like I am just complaining about petty things, but I expected that the standard would be higher. The staff are lovely, though they have a hard time to help when their English is poor. We will never come back

Superb location, characterful building, clean and comfortable room. The food was excellent, the staff were great (especially Jenny - 10/10!) and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Great to have the Kaiserkeller just downstairs, too. Would absolutely go back next summer - maybe a winter visit as well!

Schloss Hotel Dolomiti is centrally located in Canazei, right in the shops and a short walk to the ski lifts. An historic hotel built in 1904, the hotel and furnishings are spacious and elegant. As an Australian visiting the Dolomites for the first time the experience has been fantastic, the staff are very friendly and the food with lots of different options including traditional recipes from the local area as well as pizza I couldn’t have asked for more. The ski area is huge and very well suited to all levels of skiers. The scenery and mountains including the famous mountain known as the marmolada are jaw dropping beautiful. At the end of a day skiing, the spa including jacuzzis, saunas and steam room were very relaxing! I would highly recommend the hotel Dolomiti for your next ski trip. You will not be disappointed 😀

I stayed at the Hotel Dolomiti Schloss for one night when driving through the Dolomites and it made for a handy base for the night. I was given a room on arrival early evening but there was so much noise through an adjoining door from the people bundling in and being loud in the next room that I asked to move which reception arranged. The car parking is around the back of the hotel in the general parking area along the street and you are given a slip of paper to put in the car indicating you are staying at the hotel and no need to pay for parking. Depending where the room is the hotel is a bit of a labyrinth of corridors but all in all was ok for one night. I had a booking with breakfast which was served in a large restaurant which was quite busy and the food was fine with a good selection.
