Awesome place, nice clean rooms, great views. But what I've enjoyed most was the gastronomy of the hotel, dinners were magnificent!

Food was delicious but I have to leave three stars for illogical behavior from the service staff. During this pandemic, they have decided for sanitary reasons that their menu is only available through a QR code. Hand sanitizer is also available throughout. Despite this, all of the waiters wear their masks only on their chins, not covering their mouths or noses. Some consistency please.

Great food. Excellent and friendly service - the staff were really helpful, so polite and made our stay perfect. There are a variety of cheaper basic rooms and larger luxury rooms but all rooms very clean and comfortable. Great views too and a perfect stop on a ski tour of the Dolomites.

We stayed in this nice hotel just for one night as we were in a trouble with our car and it was just the best choice we could do. Staff was more than friendly and helpful. We travelled with our baby and they did they best to give as the best room. It was comfy, clean...no problem at all. Breakfast was more than satisfying. I stopped here to avoid motorcycling in the rain. Thinking a nice meal would be a great way to wait out the weather. The pasta dish I had was absolutely perfect. Cozy and familiar environment, clean rooms furnished with care between tradition and innovation. Excellent and abundant cuisine. Top hotel, in a strategic position very close to Canazei, nothing is missing to spend a few days of relaxation and enjoy the Val di Fassa with its suggestive places between nature and villages. Convenient and central structure near the bus stop and the cable car .. Equipped with private parking .. in the immediate vicinity there is also a lively watercourse where you can fish with prior authorization. The hotel is nice, maybe a little dated but it creates the classic mountain atmosphere ... The staff on the floors is discreet and professional .. and even that of the room is really very pleasant...

Our family with 2 kids have now spend 1 week holiday in this hotel. This is a fantastic family driven hotel with great rooms, food and personal services. We can highly recommend this hotel. We have already made a booking for next year.

Family-run and very caring, excellent cuisine. very varied and tasty dishes, the choice of offering an encore and tastings of other courses was appreciated, the "gourmet Ladina" dinner was very much appreciated, room with a cozy and clean balcony, comfortable beds, perfect bathroom. Location of the hotel close to the bus stop and the cable cars lifts. Recommended hotel for a peaceful holiday.

Excellent service, staff, food, location.....

Where every view is a postcard. Our stay with the Hotel Aurora Canazei was like coming home, only you dont have to cook or clean, it's all done perfectly for you. Lovely place with good food and the kindest owners – perfect for families, for your skiing trip or summer holiday.

Perfect location as we were climping two days in Sella Tower. We could park the car just outside hotel and the path forr climbing starts next to hotel. We had 3 people room, stayed 2 nights and it was big enough for us. Quiet place during night. Sleeping was ok. Breakfast was good, not too much selection, but enough. We did not have half board, but maybe should have. The price was ok for that time...

Extremely well located if climbing in Sella towers. Path directly from hotel. Breakfast was good and we also had lucky with room price. Parking crowded, but got our car next to hotel. No other places nearby to eat at evening, unless driving down to village. Could be blocked roads during cycle races.

Stayed for one night while hiking in the dolomites. The hotel is a bit old but it's very cosy and pleasent. The staff were extremely nice to us, the room and food were great and the view was simply breathtaking.

An escape from the cold of Passo Sella. Not much choice in this place. But a warm coffee or warm chocolate will brighten your day after spending some cold times in Passo Sella.

Great place to stay! Giorgia and Christian have created such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere at Villa Clara. The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were very clean and there is great access to the slopes! The bar was the perfect place to relax after a day of skiing, we had the best time and can't wait to visit again!

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I loved the fact that they all had balconies. Breakfast is included with your stay, which is always nice. There was a good selection of foods to choose from as well. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely a great place to stay.

Overall a very solid stay. Amazing breakfast selection, kind staff and centrally located in town with parking. It was a bit outdated but other than that, no complains at all.

Real family-run hotel. Clean, proper. Good cook. Guests are decent mountain-loving families and couples. Some furniture is ready for replacement.

Me and my wife spent a week at Hotel El Ciasel i February 2025. We had a super nice stay! Nice room, very good food and very good service. And location is perfect, it's close to the ski lift, ~300 meters. The SPA area is small but good enough. Grazie mille!

Staying with the family during Christmas 2022 for the wonderful skiing in Canazei, we had a great time at the hotel, which is situated within walking distance from the main ski-lift to the vast, connected skiing-areas. Hotel Pordoi did a fine job housing and feeding 19 members of our Vegan Dolomites team. A very reasonably-priced "halfboard" arrangement included a la carte breakfasts and multicourse dinners, all vegan of course. They even offered hearty box lunches (separate charge) for those who wanted them on our daily hiking excursions.

The bed was super comfortable. Lots of space in the room for luggage. Modern amenities. Staff in the restaurant are just lovely. Breakfast & dinner were included. Excellent meals. You can also ordered a bagged lunch that will be ready for you to take in the morning. Highly recommend this hotel and restaurant (Aidin).

This cozy family hotel is beautifully situated, the views are breathtaking, and it is an ideal starting point for hiking and MTB. Once you step into the hotel you are surrounded by more than 110 years of tradition while experiencing all modern conforts. We will be back!

Fantastic Hotel and Restaurant, we enjoyed so much all dishes served during launch, good mix between traditional food and modern one. Amazing 360° view of the outstanding surrounding mountains, a real experience to eat there. If you pass through Pordoi it’s a must stop. Don’t miss it.

Staff was great, very flexible with dates changing (although our booking was unchangeable at this time). Typical breakfast, great location, well maintained rooms with nice balcony. Stayed during off season (October 2016) so there wasn't to much to do around (but this has nothing to do with the place itself). Would definitely come back in high season.

Gilda, Marco & their family were extremely kind to us. The hotel was squeaky clean and comfortable. The hotel is very close to the ski resorts, ski bus and the restaurants. The swimming pool is in walking distance. They were very helpful to us in finding our way around. We would definitely return and recommend it as a place to stay.

My friend and I stayed at Residence Contrin on a hiking trip to the dolomites. The small kitchen was just enough with everything we needed to make breakfast or a simple dinner. The apartment was clean, and laundry on the property was very handy. The location was great, a short walk into town with plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed the night before and after a 4-day Via Ferrata tour. Very clean, nice balconies, fridge in kitchenette. Laundry facilities ideal and reasonably priced. Beds were comfy, nice balcony to sit out on in the evening. Couldn’t fault the reception staff, helped us find the right bus stop for our onward journey.

I’ve been coming here at least once a summer for the last 4 years, and simply can’t say enough good things. The rooms are clean, the food is amazing, the beer is cold, but the best part are the hosts. The family that runs it truly make you feel welcome, completely taken care of, and appreciated. Good alternative to staying in cortina. we stayed at aparthotel princess as our base and headed out to the different attractions everyday, drive to famous attractions are less than 3 hours.

The hotel is in great location near to the ski lifts. The rooms are small, children slept in the aisle on bunk bed. We had a double bed in one room together with kitchen and a table. Room easily feet’s a family with two kids. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We booked for three nights, and added a fourth one, because of the facilities and the location (up to one hour drive to the main attractions in the area)

Nice aparthotel with a good location. The ski bus stops right outside the hotel, and the ski lifts are a 7‐minute walk away if you miss the bus. There are also multiple restaurants and bars within walking distance. The swimming pool and wellness area are nice, but I would suggest limiting the number of visitors in the wellness area, as it gets overcrowded during peak hours.

All worked out very nicely, the service was not neede which is a good sign always. But someone is always there to provide you with what you need. Definetly coming back.
