- The place is OK - rooms and bathrooms are a bit aged and very basic. - Spa is OK - extra towels for the sauna were not included and had to be paid extra. - Service however was really nice and the food was good as well. - Many russian guests (1st week of january). - Location is good though with ski rental services in front of the door and a +- 5 min walk (with skishoes on) to the lift.

This is a really good hotel. Although we had the only room without en-suite sauna, the room itself was great: big and well furnished, with an automatic fireplace, a design bathroom, modern fittings throughout. Great restaurant downstairs as well.

You can get ski-in eating here in winter season. Range of food is typical for this region, you can get both itslian lasagna and austrian schnicel here. Staff is friendly, place is warm and has enough seats inside. In sunny days you can get sun bath outside. Prices are reasonable. In lunch time can be crowded, but if you will come a little bit before, no problems with finding place.

We have been staying in a hotel for a week, during ski time. The Hotel is perfect- we were really surprised by high quality service. Everyday cleaning and changing of the towels, good cuisine with a variety (for vegans as well). I like the alpine design- very cute and cosy. The personnel was friendly. Highly recommended!!!

I stayed for three nights at the primula hotel and overall I was very comfortable with friendly and helpful staff, great food and a spacious and clean room The only thing not welcome are the communicating terraces in fact there are no separators from one room to another.

Great location for skiing - bit dated, but the food was always plentiful, the staff were amazing and we had a great time!

Personnel was not very polite and didn't provide all the information that would be needed or helpful. It was also very strange that using the pool and spa was not included in the booking and one had to pay even if you stayed on the hotel. We only found out once we showered and were ready to enter the pool!!!

This is a lovely family run hotel. We had a great stay there. It is at the end of town but the hotel has a free shuttle and the ski bus stops outside. Nice rooms and restaurant.

I have been for three days with the family. The hotel is clean and quiet and in a location not far from the center. It has a large parking area and a beautiful view of the landscape. Very nice place for staying for skiing holiday, there are ski room with boot dryers and safe closets with lockers. Living rooms not big, but not small as well. The staff and owners very warm and friendly. Food at restaurant delicious. There are bar in reception. After skiing you can relax in two type of sauna. All what you need during ski trip. Staff was great, very flexible with dates changing (although our booking was unchangeable at this time). Typical breakfast, great location, well maintained rooms with nice balcony. Hotel in a strategic position to easily reach all the cable cars and the main means of transport. The room is clean and tidy, it also has a balcony overlooking the center of Canazei. The staff is polite, kind and nice, willing to give information and help customers.

Great hotel in a perfect location. The food was very good, especially the dessert! The staff were all friendly and helpful — Lucas and Leonardo were especially nice and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay here again!

We all loved our stay at Al Sole in Canazei. The rooms were a good size and had comfortable beds, plenty of storage space with a high quality bathroom/shower. My friend and I stayed at Residence Contrin on a hiking trip to the dolomites. The small kitchen was just enough with everything we needed to make breakfast or a simple dinner. The apartment was clean, and laundry on the property was very handy. The location was great, a short walk into town with plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean and comfortable room, nice staff.

Stayed the night before and after a 4-day Via Ferrata tour. Very clean, nice balconies, fridge in kitchenette. Laundry facilities ideal and reasonably priced. Beds were comfy, nice balcony to sit out on in the evening. Couldn’t fault the reception staff, helped us find the right bus stop for our onward journey.

Great Family Stay Host was flexible with check in. Apartment was super clean and comfortable. Definitely would recommend and stay again.

Hotel with an excellent quality-price ratio, our room was very nice, the balcony with a wonderful view. Excellent breakfast, really kind and professional dining room and reception staff, spa complete with everything. Really satisfactory room cleaning with very kind and helpful ladies. We couldn't have wished for better. We greet all the staff and in particular Mrs. Ilona and see you next year.

We enjoyed our time here. The folks at the reception went above and beyond to accommodate our needs when we asked to extend our stay for a couple of additional days despite the high hotel occupancy typical of the season (first week of August).
