Hotel Principe in Caorle

Nice place close to beach, great service, rich breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms for good price

I stayed in this hotel the first weeks of August but reading most of the positive reviews the stay was not up to par.
Excellent cleanliness in all areas and the availability of the staff, especially when there were some problems with the room they were ready to solve immediately. The property appears to be a little dated but well refurbished in the common areas, less so in the rooms which have old decor, outdated air conditioning and noisy. The bathroom denotes poor maintenance as we had to call for the shower drain to gush and ask to change the sink filter which was full of limescale to the point of not being able to get the water jet out. The windows are new and well insulated, with the exception of the single rooms in which my mother stayed, which still have old and broken windows and whose view is only partially a view of the pool from the moment in which it faces mainly a wall.
As for the restaurant, it does not reflect a 3 star rating. At breakfast, the juice machines were often empty and water came out and the coffee machines made bad coffee. The proposals for the evening menu were often winter. In general, the food was fairly good.
Big flaw is the parking: the one behind the hotel was full upon our arrival and they made us park in a parking lot (equally with few places) closed by a gate at 400mt from the hotel with shuttle transport so, every time you want to take the car, it was necessary to ask them to take you to the parking lot not so much for the distance but because they only have the key to open the gate.
