Sina Palazzo Sant'Angelo in Venice

I used it for my honeymoon a week before the Corona Carnival was cancelled in mid-February last year. Since Anniversary Travel handles all the arrangements for accommodation and check-in on that day, the amount of the room fee, etc. is unknown. The hotel itself is a bit far from the main parts, like St. Mark's Square, but Venice itself is a very small city, so you can arrive on short notice. It's a bit scary for a stranger to go alone because it's on dark roads, like back streets. The staff was very kind and polite to us, who barely speak English. The room had enough space for two people to unfold a suitcase, and the bathroom was clean. It was a good hotel with no complaints. Thank you ♪

This is a very nice hotel with rooms overlooking the Grand Canal, some with a view of the Rialto Bridge. This unique luxury hotel boasts high-quality decor throughout, as all rooms and suites are designed in typical classic Venetian style with attention to every detail. The rooms are impeccably clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The hotel is located in the city center, just a few minutes' walk from several historical attractions. The staff is very friendly, informative, and very helpful.

What can I say about this wonderful place? The Junior Suite with a view of the Grand Canal is a dream. The service is fantastic, the location is perfect. Venice at its best.

Convenient location on the Grand Canal and about 15 minutes (walking) from St. Mark's Square. Easy to get to from the train station. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, although the shower door does not prevent water from spilling all over the floor (slippery). We did not have enough cold water in the shower (a plumbing issue, I suppose) so we had to be very careful not to get scalded when turning on the hot water! Breakfast was awesome. The hotel has a nice bar overlooking the Grand Canal.

The Sina Palazzo Sant’Angelo was the 3rd of four Sina properties we stayed at while visiting Italy for 2 weeks. The 1st two Sina’s were both fantastic hotels. The Palazzo Sant’Angelo upped it another notch. The location was right on the Grand Canal. Fifty or so feet from a water ferry stop, and a 10-minute walk to Ponte Rialto or Piazza San Marco.
This hotel was luxury in subtle ways. From having its own dock for water taxis to pull up to, to an inviting lobby with small cozy bar, to well-appointed clean guest rooms and tables outside on the Grand Canal for cocktails. Our room appeared to be recently renovated and had a nice view of one of the side canals off the Grand Canal. It also had a safe, a plus when travelling.
Breakfast was included in our room. They have a small dining area, maybe 10 tables. I think they only serve breakfast. A large selection of items, not just the usual continental fare. Eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, croissants, sliced meats and cheeses, and more. All fresh.
The staff were all very pleasant, something we found at the earlier 2 Sina properties. Rebecca at the front desk was particularly helpful with all our questions.
As we saw in previous Sina properties, they have a business model that makes things comfortably consistent while making you feel welcome and important.
The room price was a bit higher than most hotels, but I felt fair given the size of the room, location of the hotel and service received by the Staff.

We recently stayed for 2 nights at the Sina Sant’Angelo hotel in Venice and were so impressed with every aspect. The location is perfect, centrally located on the Grand Canal. This made logistics so easy by taking a private water taxi from the airport that drops you off right at the entrance of the hotel. The vaparetto stop is literally 100 feet from the hotel so it was easy to get from point A to point B with an unlimited day pass. The service was excellent as was the continental breakfast. The rooms had a Renaissance feel so the lighting was dim but overall it was so beautiful. I would definitely stay there again.

Book with breakfast. Very hearty breakfast, great atmosphere in an outdoor setting which was beautiful. Loved the location and staff were amazing to help with booking dinner and the Murano island plus any water taxis. All very smooth.

We had a wonderful stay at Sina Palazzo Sant’Angelo. The location is unbeatable — right on the Grand Canal with a vaporetto stop directly in front, which makes getting around Venice effortless. The interior is charming, with elegant Venetian style, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We were kindly upgraded, which made the experience even more special.

Breakfast was included and very enjoyable, with a wide selection and attentive service. The only downside: a fixed service charge of €45 was added to the bill. While adjustable, it creates unnecessary pressure. Tipping should remain a voluntary gesture of appreciation.

Overall, an excellent hotel with great hospitality and one we can warmly recommend.

Amazing hotel, can’t beat the location. It’s very convenient to get to since it has its own dock on the grand canal. We got an upgraded room which was very spacious. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would love to stay here again!

Excellent service and wonderful staff!
This hotel has kept its charming vintage style—very clean, cozy, and conveniently accessible by water bus. We originally booked a standard room and requested a water view, mentioning it was our anniversary. While they couldn’t accommodate the water view, they surprised us with a free upgrade to a junior suite, which was such a thoughtful gesture.
