Sina Palazzo Sant'Angelo Mini-hotel

We recently stayed for 2 nights at the Sina Sant’Angelo hotel in Venice and were so impressed with every aspect. The location is perfect, centrally located on the Grand Canal. This made logistics so easy by taking a private water taxi from the airport that drops you off right at the entrance of the hotel. The vaparetto stop is literally 100 feet from the hotel so it was easy to get from point A to point B with an unlimited day pass. The service was excellent as was the continental breakfast. The rooms had a Renaissance feel so the lighting was dim but overall it was so beautiful. I would definitely stay there again.

Book with breakfast. Very hearty breakfast, great atmosphere in an outdoor setting which was beautiful. Loved the location and staff were amazing to help with booking dinner and the Murano island plus any water taxis. All very smooth.

We had a wonderful stay at Sina Palazzo Sant’Angelo. The location is unbeatable — right on the Grand Canal with a vaporetto stop directly in front, which makes getting around Venice effortless. The interior is charming, with elegant Venetian style, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We were kindly upgraded, which made the experience even more special.

Breakfast was included and very enjoyable, with a wide selection and attentive service. The only downside: a fixed service charge of €45 was added to the bill. While adjustable, it creates unnecessary pressure. Tipping should remain a voluntary gesture of appreciation.

Overall, an excellent hotel with great hospitality and one we can warmly recommend.

Amazing hotel, can’t beat the location. It’s very convenient to get to since it has its own dock on the grand canal. We got an upgraded room which was very spacious. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would love to stay here again!

Excellent service and wonderful staff!
This hotel has kept its charming vintage style—very clean, cozy, and conveniently accessible by water bus. We originally booked a standard room and requested a water view, mentioning it was our anniversary. While they couldn’t accommodate the water view, they surprised us with a free upgrade to a junior suite, which was such a thoughtful gesture.

The Sina Palazzo Sant’Angelo was a wonderful choice! I had very high expectations of Venice because I had wanted for so long to visit the city that I had several paintings of. Booking a room at this hotel was well worth it! Our suite overlooking the Grand Canal was spectacular. The staff were kind and helpful, and the location was great. From the minute we pulled up to the hotel in our water taxi until the time we departed, our experience was wonderful. I can recommend this hotel with the greatest of confidence.

The service of this hotel is simply amazing. All of the staff of the hotel are extremely kind, ultra friendly, and incredibly attentive, especially Luigi. From the first moment we checked in, our needs have been exceeded. The breakfast was also very good. We 100% will stay here when we return.

I was only here for 1 night and this place exceeded my expectations. The rooms are classic Venetian style and very cozy, with windows that open all the way and allow you to look at the streets below. The location is smack in the center of Venice and only a 10 minute walk from Pointe del Rialto, one of the few bridges that cross the grand canal. This hotel is MEGA luxurious, I have stayed at many luxury hotels including Four Seasons around the world, and this was just as good as those experiences at a much better price. I asked for an iron to be brought up and not only did they send someone fast, the person IRONED MY SHIRT FOR ME for free, now that’s luxury and going above and beyond for your customers.

My only complaint and the reason for the 4 stars is the breakfast selection. While it was expansive, the eggs were inedible and watery, and the bacon was a bit cold. It was the end of the morning when I went, but for the price of this room, if you’re going to offer complimentary hot breakfast until 10:30, it should be hot and fresh until 10:30.

Other than that, I had a great experience and will likely stay here again when I return to Venice.

Lovely hotel right on the grand canal. We had a room with a canal view (room 116), which was spacious and came with a gorgeous view! The bath tub could have used a bit of attention (mildew issues, needing new caulking) but the room was comfortable. The staff is very kind and breakfast in the morning was good. The front desk was very helpful and kind. Location of hotel was overall great.

Excellent location, near Vapor et to and Alilaguna stop. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. You can walk to everywhere within Venice very easily (San Marco, Rialto, San Polo, etc). The staff is very attentive and the place is immaculate. This is worth the price.
There is a bar for nice cocktails and snacks, and the breakfast is an all you can eat buffet. The choice is large and the quality of the food is very good.
