A wonderful family run hotel. We were looked after very well. They also cater for you if you have any food allergies.

A great place to stay! The staff is super friendly and exceptionally service minded. The location in Chiavari is just perfect, right between the beach and the historic city center. Really good breakfast. We will come back for sure.

Lovely and clean and comfortable. Staff were very polite and happy to talk to you. Beds were initially a little uncomfortable but we soon got used to them would definitely stay here again due to its convenient location to train station.

Top potion a few steps from the station, the sea and the center. The room is a jumble of styles (bed + bedside tables + baroque pouf, 80's wardrobe + desk, Provençal bathroom) but fortunately quiet and clean. The balcony had a very low parapet, I don't know if it was up to standard. Reception staff almost always absent and room keys left unattended. No receipt left at check out. Internal stairs slippery...

Very kind staff, we stayed in this hotel from Saturday to Wednesday. Central area. The suite was very large, I was sad to see rickety floor tiles, furniture with broken latches, bathroom with humidity on the ceiling, the mattresses of the double bed one higher than the other. It could be a really beautiful hotel, maybe they haven't had a chance to do maintenance due to covid-19, lack of liquidity,...

We really liked the stay here. Very clean, friendly staff. Just a little criticism : Add more healthy components to the breakfast like water melon, grilled vegetables for example.

We had a wonderful vacation. The apartment could hardly have been nicer. We have rarely been offered so much. The view, the beach and the area in and around Chiavari are really nice. The apartment is right on the beach and there are even loungers and umbrellas on site. We only find positive words and the landlords are also very nice and courteous. It was just a perfect vacation in a perfect apartment...

We stayed in this lovely hotel while visiting Cinque Terre. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast is amazing. The first night we were really late because of the road closures on the highway but they were still waiting for us. They made our stay comfortable and I can only wish we stayed longer. I recommend this place!

Before booking the room I read a lot of reviews and all of them were great. To be honest I didn't expect them to be true. Until I got there. Very nice staff, good location, charming space in front of the hotel. Rooms not the newest ones, however it's OK. Only one thing to improve: air conditioning.

I've known this place since 1999 when we got married and gave returned also with family. My mother adores this place, the manager is a great person very helpful and kind. The staff receptionists are very helpful and polite. I would recommend this three star hotel to anybody. One thing a pity to cross over u need to use the underpass to go to the private lido cos of the train that passes by the seaside...

This place is an absolute gem! It is small, cosy and has a family feel to it. Our room was spacious, very clean and full of light. The best hotel you can stay at in Italy. Rosario and Fabrizio take care of you like you are family. Close to the beach and many restaurants. Rooms are modern, clean, and spacious. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended.

Fabulous hotel great location

Roberta, Luca and rest of their stuff are wonderful! They made our stay super cost and we felt very pumpered and valued here. The place is a 3 star hotel, and perhaps it's time for renovation, but everything is very clean. It's maintained with great care and very neat. Kids are liveland welcomed, the even have a playroom and 2 additional game areas for the kids. There is an option for a full pension...

Stayed a night in August. AC + Super hospitality.

Hotel is located near the Lavagna yacht marina and all the restaurants, in just 5 mins of driving from Chiavari train station. I can notice friendly staff and nice breakfast. Those who dislike sizes of rooms etc should go to 4 and 5 star hotels. This one is 3 star hotel and service is up to 3 star standards.

The Perbacco restaurant is not reserved for hotel guests only. Went there at the suggestion of a friend. Excellent hospitality, all very kind; family atmosphere. The place is simple, not sophisticated. Home cooking, adequate portions and good value for money. We have been back before and will continue to go back.

We were last night in the restaurant and we can only recommend to go there. It has a very familiar atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food was delicious. We had different pasta dishes (carbonara, frutti di mare…). The bruschetta were great and the fileto di manzo was a dream.

A pleasant discovery for me who have lived in the Tigullio for more than twenty years but had never come here. I am a traditionalist, and the "zia piera" pizza was great for me, but I tasted a friend's gourmet pizza and it was really good. Excellent value for money with clean rooms and cozy furnishings.Our room in particular had 2 balconies overlooking the sea, perhaps slightly small especially the bathroom but very bright and in a dominant position. The hotel is dated (the floors of the rooms are beautiful in my opinion), very clean, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast with plenty of choice. Very close to the station and the sea. Recommended.

Me and my family stayed in hotel Monte Rosa for five nights. First off, the location was perfect, with the beach and the shopping street just a walk away. Another good thing was the pool area. We loved Chiavari. Monte Rosa was a pleasant place to stay and the meals were delicious.

Back from a great week at Hotel Monte Rosa, Chiavari was our base for exploring. Staff were so helpful, checking ferries, with directions, and always so friendly around the hotel. Lots of information provided on check-in and even a little snack bag on departure for our journey. Beautiful pool area, very relaxing and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lovely city hotel, with a restaurant that serves high-quality local food, attentive staff (special mention for the bartender, thanks for the Black Russian 😁) and perfectly located (very close to the beach and the train station), ideal for visiting the Cinque Terre.

Everything in one place. 2mins from the beach and right in the centre of town. The staff are so very accommodating and friendly and the pool and poolside are a winner. The breakfast was a great start to the day. Something for every diet and choice. You will truly want to return.
